TEXT OF READING 1-1 M ADULT

This psychic reading was given by Edgar Cayce while visiting in Chicago, August, 1923. [The exact date of reading is unknown. The date is approximated to have been 8/15/23.] This reading may have been requested by Mr. M. B. Wyrick, or perhaps by [1] directly.

Time of Reading Unknown. (Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now we find this body very good throughout. There are some abnormal conditions that may be corrected. There are conditions existing in this system of which the body shall be wary of in their development in the system.

2. Now the conditions to be corrected have to do with the muscular and nerve forces, especially, that on the brachial plexus or on the arm forces, see, that to be wary of in the development of bacilli in the lung forces, see.

3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body. Now the body is good so we have many normal conditions in the system - in the blood supply we find the body full, red blooded, see. The number of leucocyte, meaning the white blood force, are normal and number near the normal, 1,786,000*; those of red blood numbering 36,679,000, normal, full blood flow, see, yet in the clarification of these with the development of the physical forces in the body and the muscular forces to be supplied with the physical forces that clarifies in the lung force itself, that of which the body must be warned against, see.

* [7/7/60 note by Walter N. Pahnke, M.D.: "1,786,000 total? Normal 5-10,000 per mm's. Red blood cells: Normal: 5,000,000 per mm's."]

4. In the nerve forces, the body is very good. The mental capacity of the body, well balanced with the physical forces, though the body gets mad easy sometimes though you see, then he loses the balance and the physical or brute force develops itself. In the nerve center about the sixth and fifth dorsal we find that of the strained forces which hinders the perfect nerve development through the arms and cause at times the contraction or the reaction of these forces in the nerve and muscular force that causes the distress to this plexus center and it finding its

manifestation in the arm, the right one, you see, coming from the left side of the vertebra. The sympathetic forces in the nerve system are very good. The body is one well developed in the sympathetic nervous system and not one that would be termed over-sympathetic, yet well balanced with mental and sympathetic nerve forces that an expression in mental attitude, see. The organs of the sensory system will find the reaction from the brachial plexus force unless the correction is made there for the condition, see.

5. Through the functioning of the organs themselves, those of the sensory system as yet functioning fairly normal. Those of the head outside of the sensory organism, that is, through the neck, through the thyroid, through the nerves and muscles of the throat, the lymphatic functioning of the tonsils, the nasal cavity and the upper portion of the bronchial and trachea are very good, normal most for this condition of the body, though in times back received that which forced this condition in the system. The lung forces as we have given of this, the body must keep the developing of the muscles, nerve tissue in the trunk portion of body and mind the diet and stimulation to the system or receive the result from this condition through the liver and hepatic circulation, see. Through the digestive tract the body is very good. The contraction of muscular forces with the system being equal to the conditions of the system, the liver replenishing the condition that should be rid of as given, see, though functioning in its condition at present, normal. The hepatic circulation, higher than should be for the rest of the physical body. Of the liver and the kidney circulation, of this we find the strain on these portions producing the high hepatic condition of the lung force itself, see.

6. To relieve this condition and keep the body physically fit we would correct the lesion formed in the fifth, sixth, and seventh dorsal by those adjustments of chiropractic and osteopathic forces, to give the release of the nerve tension and to give the lymphatic along the arm and elbow, those that will give relief to produce the perfect elimination and assimilation through all these channels of the system. Through the lung forces, the diet and exercise of developing the arm and chest above the diaphragm, not below, you see, that the body has kept and should keep physically fit, see, not over-strained or over-trained in the system, but must be kept in normal condition. Do that.

7. (Q) Is there any suggestion you would make for prescription? (A) The exercise with the adjustments are better than all the prescriptions for this body. Do not produce that which

has to be overcome. The body is kept in its blood circulation with the correct incentive for nerve and muscular force to set itself correct. Don't give that which must be overcome.

8. Do as we have given.
