Time of Reading Tutwiler Hotel, 10:15 A. M. Birmingham, Alabama.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep [pause]. Now Mr. Cayce, you are asleep and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear and answer all of my questions. You have before you the body of [13], and the body is in his office in the ..., Ohio. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body that you have before you from head to foot and examine the body carefully and tell me of any ailments or disorders that you may find within the body, and then tell me what will cure or relieve the body from the conditions you find, and Mr. Cayce, I may want to ask you three or four questions about this body. You will please answer them. [13] and you will find the body in his office in the ... Bank.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal condition as we find in this body has to do with the functioning of organs within the body, and the effect that it has produced over the system in a general way, also with the blood supply, and the circulation of the lymph with the circulation in the portions of the body.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body, [13], we are speaking of, ..., Ohio - you will find him in his office in the ... Bank, ..., Ohio: The blood through the system is in an impoverished condition. There is a lack of the proper constituents to make the perfect distributing forces within the blood produced by the organic conditions that are found through the digestive tract, and the condition existing in the stomach itself. The effect it has had on the circulation is to reduce the vital forces within the body. There is insufficient hemoglobin of the nature that produces sufficient carbon in the blood to take from the system the poisons that are created by the condition in the stomach and intestinal tract.

4. The nervous system, we find the body is very good in its ability to discern or to weigh matters through the action of the brain center, yet there has been a shock to this nervous system that has produced a fear within the body, and a dissatisfied condition throughout the whole nerve force in the body, and with the condition of the blood supply, it

coupled with the fear and dissatisfaction to the mental forces has worked a hardship to the physical forces of this body, and the body began to suffer from a nervous digestion, hence the condition in the stomach became an exaggerated force by the combination of nerve forces overtaxed and the blood supply deficient in supplying rebuilding forces for the physical organs to function, then began to have the full stomach with foods fermenting in the pyloric end, then we have the effect this produced on the rest of the system. The poor elimination allowing the functioning of the nerve energy in the body to produce the lax state through the system, hence when the effect was reproduced within the physical forces and the contact between the nervous forces and blood supply, here, enacted upon at the brachial plexus, the liver forces through natural effect produced in the cuticle the expression to eliminate through the cuticle forces, it produced the forces as is expressed on the forearm of the left side producing a condition where the broken cells attempt to eliminate the poison forces, and it has become a growth in itself. The nerves of the sensory organism respond only partially to these conditions, hence we have through the head and neck, only a reflex at times to the organs of the sensory system. The functioning of the organs themselves, we find through the lung forces the expression to the lung cells themselves of insufficient amount of clarification taking place within this body. The body does not breathe deep enough to give the proper reaction to the body, then it, the body, should practice more than it does at present, taking deep breathing exercises early of a mornings before an open window.

5. The condition as we find through the digestive tract in the stomach itself, we find the pyloric end shows the action of foods resting or remaining too long within the organ. This has produced ulcerations rather then lacerations in this portion of the body and must be corrected if we would give the full length of abode between the physical and spiritual forces of this body, [13], we are speaking of. The condition through portions of the duodenum shows the effect of this condition, as does the liver. The pancrean juices are not secreted in their proper form, they, the function of this gland being laggard or slow, hence the condition, that is, after this has functioned, the body feels easier through this portion of the body. The lower portions of the digestive tract show the effect of properties taken in the system to give the incentive to the glands through the intestinal tract to function, hence there is the dull, heavy feeling across the lower portion of the

body, that is, the hips and across the sacral plexus, though little organic conditions existing there.

6. To bring the proper relief to this body other than the exercises, we would, through deep manipulation, so stimulate the centers of the upper and central dorsal region as to empty the stomach in its natural contraction of its cells, and to increase the blood supply through these portions of the body, the whole hepatic circulation and, also, the circulation of the stomach, duodenum, pancreas and spleen. We would take in the system that which would be a healing astringent. This we will find by using often a tea made of Yellow Saffron, (better as it would be used in its natural or original state), and brewed as a tea would be and taken at or before meals, see. After this has been taken for some time, and the deep breathing has had some effect, we would, also, take this in the system:

7. Keep the deep manipulation rather of the osteopathic than of other adjusting forces. Make this and take in this manner: To one gallon of water, rain water preferred rather than distilled water (for this body the nitrates would be preferred), add eight ounces of common garden sage dried, simmer not boil until reduced to one quart, strain, add four ounces of cane sugar, first dissolved in warm water, then add six ounces of gin, Gordon's gin preferred, thirty grains of Ambergris dissolved in one ounce of grain alcohol, (the gray preferred in this) [GD's note 6/5/57: He must have been referring to the pronunciation of Ambergris (gris French for gray). In the readings EC always pronounced Ambergris "Ambergray".], then add three drams of Balsam of Peru and four drams of Cinnamon in the bark, not ground. The dose would be two teaspoonfuls, half an hour before meals. Do this for [13] you see. The conditions as exist in the arm, after these properties are given and the body is able to eliminate properly, we would then consider the conditions there and not attempt to remove in any manner as yet, for the blood supply must be corrected or we will have infection to the other portions of the body, but by the proper treatments with the osteopathic forces, we will alleviate the conditions to prepare the body to take care of this condition.

8. Do that.

9. We are through.
