1. EC: Now, we find there are abnormal conditions for this body. We find there are some conditions that to this body have become normal. We find that the abnormal that may be corrected have to do with the assimilation and elimination in the system, and with the blood supply, and as these conditions affect the organs in their functioning, and the relation that these bear to physical forces in this body.

2. Now, these are conditions we find in this body. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find the quantity and quality both deficient in this system for the best in the body. Though the physical we find is not always weak from this condition there is rarely the time the body feels wholly physically fit, and the will force drives the body on often. Hence the nerve system becomes involved in conditions.

4. In the blood supplying to the system, we find in the elimination this becomes poor in the anterior portion of body, and the liver becomes involved in this condition, as an organ rather than organic condition but as the functioning of the organ itself. In the elimination through blood forces we find the blood carries some of the toxins and poisons that should be eliminated through dross channels. Hence some organs suffer in their functioning through this condition, as we have in the heart forces themselves. The blood supply at times reaches that condition when the heart to supply the needs of the body, with the quantity and quality of blood, works, as it were, overtime, or a higher pulse than normal. Again we find this at periods is reduced to the subnormal forces, that when we find rather the dull heavy feeling, aches in the head, and the general depressed feeling over the whole system.

5. The numbers of red blood cells being deficient, though the system uses well all that of the better blood force in the body, as we shall see. The white blood being nearly normal, and the lymphatic forces supply much of the needed energy in nerve and tissue force. Hence, coagulation is

16-1 Page 2

better in this system than would ordinarily be found with existing conditions. This one condition we see that to this body has become normal.

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find the body strong, for the will and soul force of the body is good. Those in the sensory system show the action of the cerebrospinal and sympathetic in their attempting to produce coordination, and at times these organs suffer from these conditions. That is, easily the eyes may burn from exposure, or in use at times, when at others this relaxing does not seem to be apparent in system, and other organs of sensory system show same effect being carried in system.

7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find as these:

8. Brain forces very good.

9. In throat, larynx and bronchials we find at times, with the blood condition, these portions of the body in their functioning seem to contract or show congestion. This is rather that of sympathetic condition than organic condition.

10. In the lungs proper, there the condition of blood supply shows more than other, save in the liver. Not organic conditions to the detriment, but with congestion might become so. This may be overcome, however.

11. In the heart forces no organic troubles.

12. In the digestive tract we find conditions that, with the correction of the liver and blood supply, will come to their normal functioning. Spleen engorged in right end, and tendency towards atrophy in the left.

13. In the liver we find the greater seat of the troubles. This we find tends towards that of cirrhosis, though not at that stage as yet and may be brought to its proper functioning. This, then, makes the change in the circulation through hepatics that affects the circulation to capillaries and internal forces.

14. The kidneys, and the organs of the pelvis, sometimes cause distress to the system in their being overcharged from the cold, or non-active, condition of the hepatics, as does the lower intestinal tract, and especially the lower end of the colon. In the circulation then produces the nerve forces. In the pelvis we find conditions produced along the lower limbs that give some distress.

15. RELIEF, to give the balance in this system, and create that vibration that will produce the assimilation and elimination of properties, correct the blood flow, overcome the conditions in the liver and strengthen those rebuilding cells, we would take into the system those properties that would create the incentive for the balance of forces, or to

16-1 Page 3

create that incentive.

16. First, we would take this as medicinal properties. To one gallon of rain water we would add: Sarsaparilla Root...........4 ounces, Wild Cherry Bark............2 ounces, Calisaya Bark...............2 ounces, Mandrake Root..............20 grains, Buchu Leaves...............15 grains, Yellow Root.................2 ounces.

17. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one quart. Strain. While warm, add four ounces grain alcohol, with three drams of Balsam of Tolu cut in it.

18. After this whole quantity is taken in the system, and the body takes for five days (that is, after this medicinal property is taken) a specific exercise for the diaphragm, the pelvic organs and the arms, for the throat and lungs in the breathing exercises (like setting-up exercises you see). Then take this in the system. To one-half gallon of DISTILLED water add: 8 ounces of common garden sage (dried).

19. Reduce by simmering to one quart. Strain. While warm, add this: 4 ounces of beet sugar, dissolved in 2 ounces of hot water (using distilled water) 6 drams of alcohol, with 15 drops of Oil of Juniper 15 grains of Ambergris, dissolved in 1 ounce of alcohol 15 drops Oil of Peppermint.

20. The dose of this would be two teaspoonfuls before each meal. By the time both of these quantities are taken, and the exercises are taken, the body will find it will be rid of these conditions throughout the system.

21. DO THAT.

22. (Q) Mr. Cayce, is the dosage for both prescriptions to be the same? (A) In the first the dose would be dessertspoonful four times each day, taken AFTER meals and before retiring.
