1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [24]. In the physical forces of the body we find there are disturbances as need correction for the better and more near normal functioning of the body. These disturbances have to do with the eliminations and the causes as bring ABOUT disorders FROM that as IS PRODUCING the disturbance.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [24], we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below normal in quantity and quality, as WELL as being at times somewhat irregular in the circulation, produced by that as is CAUSING the greater disorder through the amount and character of poisons as are being carried through the blood stream. This impoverishing portions of the system, and only with the vitality is the condition not even worse.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here, again, we find that there are indications OF the poor eliminations, produced by poisons as carried in system, and unless corrections ARE made there must come those effects - either in that of the neurotic condition, [neuritis?] or arthritis, or of any of those conditions that AFFECT the sinew and the bones, especially in their joints. These, in their incipiency, find the conditions come fromthe attempt OF the structural portion, or the soft portion OF the bone supply to meet the needs OF a system being poisoned through its BLOOD supply. Hence the NUMBERS in leucocyte ABOVE normal at times; below at others; and the RED blood below normal. This indicated not only in conditions existent in spleen AND in liver, as WELL as seen in the centers in the extremities where the lymphatic circulation is restoring those conditions as are affected by the distortion in elimination, with the inability of full coagulation FOLLOWING the USAGE of the extremities, or the activities of the system. Hence AGAIN in the NERVE system do we find the tendency of sluggishness mentally;
24-1 Page 2
sluggishness in activities of any become BURDENSOME, because the WORRY of the thing brings distortions in the SYMPATHETICS, as to causes.
5. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are good.
6. Organs of the sensory system suffer under the strain.
7. The throat, bronchia and in lungs - here we find a seat or a cause, though not the PRIMARY cause OF conditions; for in the character of the DIGESTIVE reaction arose those disorders that brought about that condition in THROAT and in the tonsils and in the mucus membranes OF the throat and head - but WITH the slackened circulation coming from cold and congestion, and the inability of the system to supply the proper nutriment, the condition became localized. Then, the other disorders as arised, or have arisen in the system attempting to adjust itself - STILL finds a seat or a basis of the condition. Well, then, in considering all of the conditions as arise FROM same, that these be removed.
8. In the lungs again we have the effects of the impoverished blood, also of the poisons NOT being eliminated. With the removal of that as affects DIRECTLY the condition, these we find would CLARIFY themselves, would the proper precautions be taken and the general health OF the body BUILDED up; but UNLESS these ARE taken into consideration, there may be expected further trouble in this portion of the system.
9. Heart's action, as indicated, at times irregular.
10. The digestive system, rather that of NERVOUS indigestion - as well as reflexly from conditions in spleen and liver.
11. Through the hepatic circulation, this becomes overtaxed at times, as indicated - while the general system, throughout the blood supply, the nerve system and the functioning organs is DISTORTED. This does not MEAN to indicate other than that MINOR conditions are at PRESENT existent, but allowed to remain MUST become constitutional - and these are given that PRECAUTIONS may be taken and corrections made; for the basis of the condition exists from lesions existent in the lower cervical and reflexly in the UPPER lumbar. These should be CORRECTED osteopathically, and the DIETS during the period of replenishing and rebuilding should consist mostly of that that would be nerve and blood building, with PLENTY of SALINES - but with most of same in an alkalin reaction for the system. Do that. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Should tonsils be removed? (A) That's just been given!
13. (Q) Is body in condition to have tonsils removed at this time?
24-1 Page 3
(A) Provided the body will take sufficient time to REST during the period AFTER such is done, and that proper foods and proper treatments are given; but simply to remove the tonsils and not CORRECT the conditions existent in cervical and lumbar would merely prolong or put OFF troubles that MUST arise, either in lung or digestive system!
14. (Q) Would it be best for these corrections to be made before tonsils are removed? (A) No. If it had we would have given so!
15. (Q) What is cause and treatment of headaches? (A) Toxemia! Remove the cause - which is poisons in system, and the pressure in the lumbars and in the cervical, and the condition will be gone.
16. (Q) Would it be best to use general or local anesthetic? (A) Local will be alright. This will NOT be a serious operation, though the CONDITIONS of TONSILS are rather serious. Be mindful that there are not infections from the operation.
17. (Q) Who is best to perform this operation? (A) One that understands the condition and is versed, or is a specialist in such conditions - for, remember, the manipulations should be done in accordance WITH that carried on in the system.
18. (Q) Any further suggestions or advice? (A) Do these, but we would advise that there be another check-up on these conditions at least in three to six months, for these lungs and the digestive system - especially that as related to the hepatic circulation in its relation to the spleen AND lungs - MUST be considered!
