1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal conditions that we find in this body have to do with the functioning of organs; that effect that has been produced throughout the system, both by outside influences and their effect within the system as produced on the nerve forces that produce the functioning of organs themselves as classified in the anatomy.
2. Now, these are conditions as we find them within this body here, [30], we are speaking of:
3. In the blood supplying forces we find [that] the blood [is] deficient in its rebuilding forces, produced by an overtaxation of the system, to produce proper coagulation; [it] has been used up within the body and its forces itself. This as we find at present is of a temporary state. There is an over-abundant (though not abnormally so for the condition) number of leukocytes within the blood forces within the body; that is needed, however, to produce the proper coagulation with the rebuilding forces, needed to carry on the rebuilding properties within the body at the present time.
4. Through the nerve forces themselves we find the condition which is [indicative of] the abnormal forces as shown in the body when in normal condition, see; that is, the body has suffered, you see, recently, from outside forces, which has produced or caused a condition that exists in building supplying properties at present.
5. In the nerve forces we find at the third, fourth and sixth cervicals an impingement produced by inter-lateral adjusting, produced along this part of the spine that forces the supplying nerve tissues to improper coordination through that part of the sensory system, or that which affects this, here, to the side. Thus, the action of this has been to deflect the action through the coordination of the eyesight here, until we have through the optic forces of the optic nerves themselves that which deflects the sight or the vision to the body, all of which carries the impression to the brain without the proper action of the reflection being carried back, or to the loss of vision through the optic

forces. The impingement has caused this by producing here, 3rd, 4th and 6th cervicals, a lesion which lies in the lateral [direction]; that is, the branch nerves between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nervous system at these vertebrae.
6. Throughout the rest of [the] nervous forces of the body, as we find, the body [is] only recovering from nervous shocks by the loss of the sensibility to the other forces, and not abnormal condition. That is, we find these conditions are normal for the condition that is existing within the system.
7. The reflex force as shown from this condition, that affects the sight also, shows or embraces those through that [area] of the lymph and muscular forces; that [is, the] thyroids, this fullness at times that shows about these.
8. The action of the functioning of the organs themselves: We find first through the brain forces the deflection, as we have given here, as produced by the impingement of ends from which the supply forces are received to the organs them- selves, to produce the reactions to this as produced through the sensory organism.
9. Through the larynx only a reflex condition is produced by this. Through the lung forces, that is, the air chambers of the lungs, we only have the after effects or conditions as produced in the system and no organic condition as produced through these.
10. Through the digestive forces, through the stomach and in- testinal forces, there has been some trouble that [was] existent in itself back here that shows the effects within the system of the condition; not organically, we find no trouble with this.
11. We find reflex forces as shown from the action of the kid- neys and of the liver, this from the receiving into the system of that which is deadened forces through the nervous system and the action of these we have an over-stimulus of these at present, not organic conditions [These organic conditions] would not set up unless we find [such] reached through a reflex force by the life and thoughts of the body.
12. (Q) Now, Mr. Cayce, what is the trouble you find with his eyes and can you tell us what will relieve the condition, if anything? (A) The condition as we find with the eyes is, as we find here, the reflection to the optic nerve as received through the lenses of the eye itself, the sensitive [sensory?] forces to the brain [which we find] is one of the highest vibrations of the forces within the body itself. The
30-1 Page 3
impingement of nerves that feed to the optic nerve, and to the nerves that govern the eyesight here, you see, have so impinged and so cut off the circulation that the refuse matters and forces as used by the optic nerve have filled up the channels about the nerves that carry the sensation of sight and reflexes to the brain itself. So it is produced from the condition as arising from the first seat of branches of the supplying forces to the nerves of the eye. This has not produced, as yet, an atrophied condition of the optic nerve. It has produced a flattened force to the reflection of nerve forces through the eye itself. By the removal of, the relaxing or taking away and absorbing into the system, these forces that have prevented or are preventing the operation of the optic nerve, we would bring again to the eye the forces needed to produce reflection or sight within the eye itself. This we would do by removing first the condition as is produced in the cervicals from the 6th cervical, 4th cervical and 5th cervical. These are inter-lateral forces. This would be done by manipulation of chiropractic forces to adjust and to relieve the impingement here on this part of the body. Then by giving to the body the same vibration as is needed to carry the correct vibration to the optic forces, the body will first needs be recovered entirely from the condition existing in the head at first before this is done, or else we will produce too much stimulus to the cerebellum [such] that it would carry away forces needed to the memory of the body. These do not want to be deflected. This would begin the treatments, that is, within six to eight weeks before it should begin, yet part of the manipulation may be kept up to prevent an atrophied condition coming to the optic nerves themselves. The vibrations that will be needed after the condition is removed will be that of the electrical forces which, in which there is no resistive forces or the reverse coil as it is known, of vibratory forces. It carries until the resistance within the body itself, there is large [lodged?] an amperage, then returns to its voltage, thus going up and down and throughout and returning. This we find is prepared by Abrams, the representative here [in U.S.] is Los Angeles, Calif. Made in Germany. Do that if you would bring relief to this body.
13. (Q) [Mr. Cayce, do you find if] these things are done, you have given here that the man will see? (A) If you remove this condition that you have [been] given
30-1 Page 4
here you will find that the vision will return to this body here.
14. (Q) Mr. Cayce, how much time will be required to have this vision return if the treatments are followed, per your instructions? (A) Second cycle of the returning forces as supplied to that portion of the body, which would be six to eight weeks, see. See, within the system of the body each of [the] forces or organs themselves is [in] every so much time replaced within itself. By the removal of the impingement forces we will find we produce the proper distribution within the system [of] used forces. As each organ functions it uses some cellular forces within the body. This must be distributed or carried out or eliminated from the body or it becomes dead tissue if allowed to remain, after a while becomes dead or atrophied condition throughout, whether it be nerve or any functioning organ within the body. The cycle needed to remove this will be from four to five weeks and the second cycle should remove sufficient to see the optic forces exercising themselves and giving reflection to the body here. We must first have the body normal to receive the condition. The examinations as made here will show the condition as existing in the cervical either by X-rays or by examinations by the manipulation using these forces or means of producing proper conditions or adjustments within the body. Either or both will show the condition existing.
