Time of Reading Unknown.

1. LBC: You are now asleep and will be able to tell us what we want to know. You have before you [34], who is in the building here, who is before you now.

2. EC: [34].

3. (Q) You can see him, he is before you right now. (A) [34], yes we have him here.

4. (Q) Now I want you to go over him carefully, examine him thoroughly and tell us what the trouble is, if anything. (A) Whole lot the matter with him.

5. (Q) Tell us what it is. (A) We have a lack of the blood supply to the head, we have a degenerate condition of the white matter in the nerve tissue. We have a lack of the connection between the sympathetics and cerebrospinal nervous system. We have an overtaxation of the sympathetics, through the lymphatics, on the supply of the matter from the capillaries to the blood has to be circulated through the system and where we get into the contact with it. We have a lack of the supply of blood to the brain in its proper condition that produces a contraction of the muscles all through the body, especially, through the facial and upper part of the trunk of the body. They produce a contraction of the muscles spasmodically and the supply of blood to pass through the whole system, pass with the nerve, muscle and tissue of the body in unison. We have now the nerve and muscle, the blood supply pass almost equally along in all parts of the body, especially, where it passes the neck in the cervical region. The nerve and blood supply go together from the lesions here along the spine and from the condition produced here at the cortex, here just above the stomach, here produces to the brain in the cervical region, to the capillaries, the facial muscles and nerves a spasmodic condition of the muscles and blood. A lack of nutriment supply to these produce this to the system here.

6. (Q) What other conditions do you see? (A) These conditions have been there for so long that we have all this supply to the blood, this lesion has been

34-1 Page 2

there so long that we have reflex action from it all through the system. We have lack of the strengthening power in himself, to get up and go, loses all self-control through the tissue or the lack of depression, of the lack of nerve supply in the body has produced this and the lack of the power in himself to do what he does. The lack of the power of the secretion organs of the body to throw out from the system the over-waste matter which has passed out through the dross instead of through the secretion organs. The action of the blood on the spleenic system or on the spleenic action of the nerve forces is almost a stoppage, you see, does not destroy it you see.

7. (Q) Has that any effect on the head? (A) Only the supply to the forces of the white blood or white tissue and the spleen has to rebuild the supply but here it uses up the forces, eats this up, destroys the red blood corpuscles in the spleen itself, uses up the force that should destroy any excess, especially to the brain to pass here to the sixth dorsal, to the second cervical to the brain itself.

8. (Q) What causes these spells that he has now? (A) Spasmodic from the contraction of these nerves and blood supply to throw the blood here into the head, it comes out from it here and goes in at the other side. We have a lesion here that causes the spine at the seventh dorsal to force the blood from the cardiac plexus itself and that governs the beating of the heart, the lack of the nutriment here to the white matter in the tissue suppresses these forces that supply the facial muscles here to the head produces a contraction of the muscles and nerves a drawing of the face, drawing of the muscles of the body and throws out into the body a state of collapse and the supply of that in itself is wholly cut off. We have two matters in the nerve tissue, the white and gray; the gray is more here than the white. We have here in the system a tie-up at the nerve centers, here at the seventh dorsal, which suppresses these forces here that govern the heart, that govern the secretions from the whole system and govern the supply of the whole head, until it is lost, the supply itself of the spasmodic condition of the head or the state of coma.

9. (Q) What treatment to relieve these conditions? (A) A sedative to the whole system, beginning on small quantities, here, potash. You may have to change from the kind here. Take all the animal heat from the system and throw cold along the spine, this takes from it the animal

34-1 Page 3

heat and forces the system here to supply to the cerebrospinal to the nervous system a reaction and throw out from it. It will hurt the body, make him sick, produce a fever, but that is what we want, a general reaction and when we have this reaction wrap the body up. Put the electrical force along the whole spine, clear from one end to the other, until we drive it from the system. Put this clear from one end to the other, close to the head. Static electricity. Heap on all he can take. After we have the sedatives in the stomach then we want the action of the electricity into the blood supply. Passes out from the digestive very good as we have it in here now. In the stomach to the blood and driving in all this, forces to the action of the cold along the spine a reaction from this cold with the electricity along the spine will produce a reaction from this. When this is given increase the quantity of the sedative to decrease the force supply here. Body will be improved.

10. (Q) Will this improve him? (A) We have a normal body here, we have an abnormal condition in the white tissue or supply of the nerve force. We have a sedative to the blood or to the action on the white tissue of the nerve from the potash will produce this effect and allow the nerve supply to draw from the rebuilding force of the whole system until we can equalize it. He will get better.
