1. EC: [34], yes we have had him before. He is better than he was; he is considerably better. There is a better equalization of the circulation through the entire body, particularly, along the spine and lumbar region, where the greatest difference was at first. The strain of this nervous system has relaxed. We see now this body needs more exercise.
2. We have a better flow of blood to the head and not so much congestion to the cortex of the stomach, nor between the stomach and diaphragm. We still have this deep lesion in the abdominal cavity. The flow of blood to the head is better, in fact, the whole circulation is better from the main circulation to the capillaries.
3. In treating this patient continue this treatment that he is now getting, just the same. If we should stop it he will get drowsy, sick, dizzy again. He needs a light diet because he does not take much exercise. He should be employed mentally; see he should be made to think. Not enough exercise to tire him but just enough to get more confidence into himself to rely upon himself more and this is getting along nicely.
4. This system has become relaxed as this force is getting stronger. Continue his medicine just the same; increase the strength of the medicine if necessary to subside any troubles that may come, otherwise, do not. Simply give more work for the mind and body to do. [See 34-3 Background]
5. (Q) You are now asleep and will be able to tell us what we want to know. You have before you [34], who is in the room here with you. He is before you now. (A) [34].
6. (Q) Yes, he is before you now. You will see him. (A) Yes, we have had him before.
7. (Q) Now I want you to go over - (A) [EC interrupting] He is better than he was.
8. (Q) [Question cont'd] - him carefully, examine him thoroughly and tell us what his condition is today. (A) He is better than he was. He is considerable better than he was along here. He has got a more equalization of

the circulation than we have had. We have now along the spine here, down in the lumbars, where the greatest difference, you see. At the upper lumbar you find that they are more equalized; we have a more equalized flow of the blood and more equalization of the strain or laxtivity and tortness of the muscular fibre and motion of the body. This body needs more exercise. We have a better flow of the blood to the head. We have not so much congestion of the cortex of the stomach, between the diaphragm and stomach. We have still this lesion deep down in the inside. We have a better flow of the blood in the head; we have a better internal circulation. The capillaries are still full and some parts of the body. We have a better equalization of the white and gray matter, too.
9. (Q) Well, how about the treatment now? (A) Very good.
10. (Q) Continue this treatment that he is now getting? (A) Yes, that is very good; very good. Keep this on the lumbars here. Keep them well wrought up with the ice. Keep this well heated up the brain here with electricity, through the cervical, so we can pass the blood back and forth. Not too much tightness on the muscles. When we have a spasm of the muscles, above the stomach or spasms of the muscles of the body, it produces a gush of blood and when it comes back we have drowsy, dizzy, sick.
11. (Q) Well, how about his diet? (A) The exercise of the body we have now, it needs very light. The body needs more exercise; needs to be more with the thinking than it does with the hands and feet. Needs enough of thought to keep the body in work; needs to be made to think, that is what is working on the body. We have white and gray tissue in the matter, in the nerve supply, which runs along this force here; plenty of white to recuperate the whole system of the gray to carry out the matter. Needs more of it; needs to work what you have got and it will get better. Not enough to tire; needs confidence in itself - to rely on itself. We need to relax the system and to give a fresh supply of blood to this force; not to use up the energy of same, it won't have any effect; it should have and will retard the work.

12. (Q) How about the medicine he is taking into the stomach? (A) Take it.
13. (Q) Continue as it is? (A) Continue to take it.
14. (Q) Any stronger? (A) Stronger if he needs it to subside these troubles.
15. (Q) Anything else you would suggest? (A) Work the mind and body too.
