Time of Reading 10:35 A. M. ..., Ind.

1. LBC: You have before you [34], ..., Ind. He is before you now. You will see him.

2. EC: Yes, we have him here. We have had him before.

3. (Q) I want you to go over him carefully, examine him thoroughly, and tell us what his condition is now. (A) Very good now, just at present, but the condition through the whole system is not altogether as good as we had before.

4. (Q) Well, what is it that has brought about this change? (A) Now, you see, we have here this body of [34], the condition existing in the system as we had here before, the cortex of the stomach, coming in contact with those of the muscular and nerve centers, and the diaphragm and the stomach themselves, or the entrance to the stomach, or the esophagus here. The restraining to the blood supply, that is, the treatment along the spine of both electric and cold applications, have reduced, or kept the full action of the blood from this condition to such an extent that we have retarded or kept away these conditions, the spasmodic conditions, to this condition here in the stomach.

The filling up of the stomach of matters; that is, what has been taken into it here, has brought about a retarding to this force, or effect that we have produced into the system, until we have had a return of some of these forces. Not so hard - more frequent. We have had, instead of a dilatation of the walls of the stomach, that into the system which is called a contraction to the forces of the walls of the stomach themselves, or the attempt of the gastric juices in the stomach to act onto the walls of the stomach. The nature of the body to preserve or protect, in throwing out these juices, or this cellular force, or protoplastic cells, as you might call it, to retard this brings about this condition.

We are losing more of the hope in the body itself; not individually, but expressions from the outside. We need to be stronger, with a suggestion of the power within itself.

It is not lost in itself. You see we have here now, [34] in the body, the impressions received through other bodies of the same nature around this body, has its bearing or effect on the system in the retarding of the system and the body. We need that into the system here of [34] more of this bromide in the system, not so much at a time. Then we need applied to the forces here more of this cold at intervals; not so cold as we have had heretofore; that is, ice at the first and second cervical, ninth and tenth dorsal, second and third lumbar; not the whole length, as we have had before. Not so frequent, not so long.

Plenty of suggestion to the body, and stronger from the individuals around. Keep the body in the air as much as possible, let the diet be of the simple, easy digestion; not too much acid.

5. (Q) Any other treatment at present? (A) No, this is it along here, now, from the same force applied to the body as we had before; the electric forces to act on the nervous system.
