1. EC: We have the body here. Now the abnormal condition as we find in this body that need to be for the correction at the present time have to do with the digestive functionings, and the effect as produced over the whole system, and the reflex conditions as produced by them.
2. Now these are conditions as we find in this body at the present time: Through the circulation we find the body has become into a state of poor elimination produced by the inability in the blood forces to supply that element necessary to produce the normal functioning of the organs that have to do with the elimination, both through the kidneys, the liver and the effect this has produced in the respiratory system, so that we have an impoverished condition through some of the elemental forces that have to do with the rebuilding of cellular forces in the body; hence the tired feeling over the system, the pains at times through the shoulders, the uneasiness through the whole trunk portion of the body, the heaviness and aching to the lower extremities at times, you see.
3. This, as we find, is the condition that produces the reflexes then to other portions of the body also. Through the nerve force in the body we find the actions of the nervous systems are very good when we take into consideration the other portions of the body, for the brain forces are above the normal in their functioning within this body, and it controls through reasoning forces most of the functioning of the system, else the body would be by its own determination in a great deal worse condition than it is at present, you see, for it fights back against conditions that arise within the system.
4. The coordination between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic systems is very good, not as good between the sympathetic and the sensory organism, hence the body has at times troubles with the organs that function through the sensory organisms.
5. The functioning of the organs themselves to the trunk portion of the body: We find through the lung forces, the air, or by the oxidation of the blood forces within the
59-1 Page 2
system, that it is not at all times carried on to its perfect unison, though by the action of the mind forces over this there is produced a better condition than would be ordinary in a body with this condition in the system, you see.
6. The action of the digestive tract throughout the system: We find the effects of the neurosis through the portions of the body, and that its effect is to parts of the stomach itself, especially in the pyloric end do we find some conditions suggestive of the forces as caused or produced in the blood supply, especially with the action of the juices to produce new blood through the pancrean forces, see? So we have an enlarged spleen, see? We have a plethora condition in the spleen gland forces themselves, and the same reaction from these through the intestinal tract as we have in the Peyerian glands here.
7. (Q) Are you ready to give the testament for this body? (A) We have a condition here in the kidneys that is not very good either, see. This in the emunctory forces, in their action with these, do not throw off from the system as they should, and we have some conditions that arise in the blood supply and in the inefficiency of the elements to carry out their normal function as produced by this condition of overtaxation to these organs themselves, you see. These may be all corrected within the system and relieve these conditions by giving the correct incentives to the functioning of the organs themselves, for we find within each entity the elements that are without. When one becomes below the normal it must be either supplied from without, that is, when we deal with the physical plane, or so controlled by the forces within the system as to renew that within, or else we have an improper balance within the system, as with this body here, you see - [59], we are speaking of. To give this balance to this body we would take this into the system: To one gallon of rain water - we wish the nitrates in this - we would add: Wild Cherry Bark....................4 ounces, Sweet Gum...........................2 ounces, Balsam of Tolu......................l ounce, Calisaya Bark.......................l ounce, Sassafras Root......................2 ounces, Mandrake Root......................15 grains, Buchu Leaves.......................30 grains.

This would be reduced by simmering, not boiling, to one quart. To this we would add 4 ounces of sugar, dissolved in sufficient warm water to dissolve same, and 4 ounces of grain alcohol. The dose of this would be tablespoonful three times each day, half an hour before meals. Do that.
8. (Q) Mr. Cayce, this body wants to know whether she has or not tuberculosis. (A) She has not. We have through the lung forces, you see here, just as the condition as we have given, with the blood attempting to be oxidized there, you see. Take this into the system to rebuild these forces, see. Do that. We will bring this body to its normal force again.
9. (Q) How much time would be required to bring the body to normal force, Mr. Cayce? (A) It depends on the body's action with its mind over the forces of the system. Two to three quantities of this should be taken. The body will be normal.
10. (Q) Mr. Cayce, this body has a lump in its breast. She wants to know whether it is cancer or tumor. (A) Neither.
11. (Q) What is it then, Mr. Cayce? (A) A hardening of the glands as is thrown out by the circulation, by the improper circulation as we have given here, through poor elimination when cell forces have gathered and thrown into the respiratory system they have only gathered there, you see.
12. (Q) Will these treatments as you have prescribed absorb those? (A) It will put the condition in the system so it will be absorbed. It don't absorb it itself, it is the system [that does the absorbing].
13. We are through.
