1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find rather those conditions against which the body should be warned. While there are tendencies and weaknesses that cause distress, these conditions taken in time may be so corrected that the body may function normally. While left, or disregarded, these that cause disturbance are only the forerunner or symptoms of the conditions that may arise, are they disregarded at present. These conditions, as we find, have to do with the depletion in the blood supply, and its character, and the effect this had - and does have, and the changes as will be wrought without the corrections.

2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [64], we are speaking of, present in this room:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there has existed - and does exist in the system - subluxations that hinder the proper distribution of that as may be assimilated IN the system, and hence the metabolism has been unbalanced. This having to do with the organs themselves, as ASSIST IN the digestion and in the eliminations as related TO refuses in the system. In the blood proper, we find deficiencies in the amount of the vitamins as necessary in portions of the body, and the functioning ORGANS IN their functioning suffer from this. This impingement, as we find, exists in the lower lumbar and lower dorsal region, especially. In the cervical we find SYMPATHETIC conditions existent from same. The effect as is produced is subnormal in the pressure as created, and the abnormalcy in the pulse or heart's reaction. This purely a SYMPATHETIC condition, not organic in its nature. We also find deflections in the respiratory system from this same cause, radiating from the sympathetic plexus in the secondary cardiac region - which prevents the body from taking long deep breaths at times, though this easily tires the body when overexertion in any act that produces for the respiratory system undue circulation above the diaphragm,

and the conditions as are produced at times when this act may be carried on is the result of the IMPROPER AMOUNT OF the blood circulation.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, naturally these subluxations and impingements cause distraughtness. These are more from the DIRECT subluxation than from any dis-ease or disorder in this direction, save as is experienced by a body so unbalanced IN its acquisition of the proper elements in the upbuilding of a normal body.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, these we find function abnormally spasmodically; that is, the variations as occur in same are produced by the system attempting to adjust itself to the conditions as are manifesting themselves, so that the MANIFESTATIONS in the functioning organs themselves vary.

6. Then, to meet the needs of these conditions, first we would relieve those pressures as exist in the lumbar and lower dorsal region. These may be altered in the osteopathic adjustments and osteopathic manipulations. The adjustments should be made at least twice each week, while the general manipulations should be at least once each day.

7. Also there should be added to the system, in the proper vibratory rate as will accord the system with that necessary, those properties as we would find in, as this: Using as the basis, or the carrier for same, prepare first this: To 8 ounces of distilled water add 3 ounces of wild cherry bark. Reduce by simmering, not boiling, to l/2 the quantity. Strain, and then add: Simple Syrup.................2 ounces, Tincture Valerian..........1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia.....1/4 ounce, Oil of Sassafras............20 minims, Elixir Calisaya............1/4 ounce.

8. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken, and the dosage should be half a teaspoonful every 4 hours, until there is entire change in the action of the respiratory system as related to the capillary circulation; for those astringents, also those laxatives as are carried in same, will act directly to the capillary circulation. With the manipulations as are carried on, we will find a change will come about in this circulation, and we will RELIEVE that pressure.

9. After this has been carried on for at least until the full quantity of medicinal properties are taken, and the manipulations or changes carried on in the order as given, then we would give further instructions for the building up

of the body to its normal reaction. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Is there any gall bladder trouble? (A) This is NOT gall bladder trouble. Rather the reaction from those glands wherein DIGESTION takes place, and this tingling sensation is from that condition in the blood's reaction in its subnormal condition through liver.

11. (Q) Are there any ulcers in the stomach? (A) There are not!

12. (Q) Are there any adhesions, caused from an operation for appendicitis? (A) More from the conditions as have existed, do exist, in the depletion in the blood supply. With the correction of those subluxations existent, and the manipulations - these adhesions, that are the NATURAL result of EVERY operation of the nature, will be broken up.

13. (Q) Is there anything wrong with the right kidney? (A) Strangulation produced by the effectiveness of the circulatory system.

14. (Q) Can anything be done for painful menstruation? (A) When the body has sufficient of the blood supply, and the normal activities of the eliminations are set up in system, we will find relief will come from this; as will be found the straightening of the organs in their proper position, by the manipulations, would assist also in bringing these about. Do these, as we have given, and we will find the corrections coming for this body, [64].

15. (Q) Has patient fallen stomach? (A) No!

16. (Q) How many osteopathic treatments are required? (A) That will depend, as has been given, until this full quantity is carried out - and THEN we would give instructions. How will the body respond, and how will they be taken. That depends upon the reaction of the body to the administrations, and how the administrations are given. We are through for the present.
