1. GC: You will have before you the body of [68], who is at work, Randolph & Wells Streets, Chicago, Ill. You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: This condition as we find with this body - there are rather those conditions of which the body should be warned, than of conditions to be corrected at the present. Rather correcting those conditions that will overcome the tendencies as are exhibited in the body at the present time. These, as we see, have to do with the condition as existent in the lungs proper and that in the feet. These conditions, as we see, are at present rather in a latent state, on account of the vitality of the body being able to cope with same, yet we find, from the physical conditions as are becoming apparent in other portions of the body, from the effects as are produced in the system throughout the functioning organism of the body, that these must be met. This, as we see, produces this overtaxation (this, as we are speaking of, other than that apparent from external forces that appear in system, see?). These, then, to be met:

3. We would prepare for these conditions and overcome same by diet and exercise in a nominal manner, and in a consistent and a persistent way, for the best developments of the body. That is, taking more exercise in the open, with the upper portion of the body (from waist up, see?) bathed often, and deep inhalations taken, circulation of the trunk portion of body through exercise, mornings, and evenings, see? Extending arms, circulating arms, expanding the chest.

4. The food values as would be taken to meet these conditions would be more nuts, more eggs (these preferably would be taken raw), more milk, and meats that carry as much of the fat as will be assimilated by the system. Every character of meats save hog meat, see?

5. Inhalations should be taken of this nature: To 6 ounces of grain alcohol, add:

68-1 Page 2

Eucalyptol...........................30 minims, Benzosol, or Liquid Creosote....5 to 10 minims, (5 minims of Creosote or 10 minims of Benzosol) Canadian Balsam.......................5 minims, Heroin.............................1/60 grain, dissolved in 3 minims of water, added to solution.

6. The inhalations well to be kept in bottle tightly corked. Put it in a bottle twice the size necessary for the container. Shake solution well together, then inhale through the mouth into the lungs. This, as we see, will overcome the condition of catarrhal forces in lung, in throat, in bronchials and in nostrils. These should be inhaled at least once each day, preferably just before the body retires.

7. The exercises should be taken morning and evening, principally for upper portion of body, with the deep breathing exercise for the body.

8. Following the diet as has been given. More nuts, more fruits, more egg, more milk, more meats - fats. No hog meat.

9. Do this, and we will find we will bring about a better normal physical development for this body, [68].

10. The condition in lower limbs and extremities, we find, are produced by strain as is produced in the muscular forces in lower portion of limbs, brought about by a condition existent in the sacral. This taxes the locomotories and brings about this contraction to the lower portion of the feet. This will be assisted by wearing arches, braces, and by wearing rubber band about the thigh and just above the knee. Changing these time to time, or they may be affected the same by, when resting, keeping feet just a little above or level with head.

11. We are through for the present.
