1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [69] present in this room, who seeks physical, mental and spiritual advice or council. You will give this information in a specific manner understandable to her, answering the questions which she submits regarding these phases of her life, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [69] present in this room, and those conditions that disturb the body-physical.
3. In the physical forces we find there are at times those conditions that disturb the body, causing distress physically and mentally. These, as we find, may be corrected in such a way or manner as to relieve the physical and mental distresses, and bring about a much nearer normal condition. They have to do with specific conditions that have been accumulated in portions of the system, that - under the attempt and stress of the body to adjust itself, or rid itself of the conditions - bring about effects that disturb the body.
4. Then, these are the conditions physically that we find with this body, [69], we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. In the digestive system, while there is at most periods very good digestion so far as the activities of the gastric forces and the balances there at most periods, but in the lower portion of digestion and in the transverse colon there are those disorders from the accumulations from inactivity, or the pressures that come from the inactivity of these portions of the body, that give off a reflex action which makes for accumulations of gas, and of a plethora, in the activities of the forces that produce the pressure - that is felt in the upper portion of digestion, or in the pyloric and cardiac end of the stomach itself. This being of a reflex nature, we find it is at times distressing to the
69-3 Page 2
body - and at other periods it is of the nature of a prolonged uneasiness, making for - then - the carrying off or drawing away the circulation through the lymph and hepatics to relieve those portions in the pylorus and in the lower end of stomach; causing a dryness that has produced and does produce those reactions in the lower end of the colon itself proper. These make for those distresses that are seen there in the form of the folds, in the activity of the eliminations from the body, in such measures at times as to produce the lacerations and causing pains in the activity.
6. In the other direction, or the effects that these produce on the system, these are rather of the reflex nature, and with the correction of the conditions as of the specific nature we would find that the others would disappear; for the balance of the system as related to the activity of the mental over the physical - and the dissemination of the vibrations that are or may be created by the mental activities of the body - may AFFECT, and DOES affect the body in such manners and measures that - with the proper incentives for the system-physical to adjust itself - would bring about nearer normal conditions.
7. Then, in meeting the needs of the physical conditions, as we would find, first there would be those applications for the activities in the system as related to the irritations in the form of hemorrhoids; applications that would relieve the pressures and reduce the swellings, so that there might be those applications that would reduce those conditions in the transverse colon, thus removing the pressures there.
8. We would use as an ointment those combinations that have been or are prepared in that called Tim. These we would use in the order that has been outlined for the use of same.
9. Take internally into the system those properties that would make for a better conformity of action with the gastric forces of the stomach itself, with the emptying of the pylorus and with the creating of a better activity in the system as related to keeping an even balance in the blood stream, and in the flow of those forces that make for recuperations to those portions where there is the NECESSITY of the better coordination of the system, as related to creating the conditions that are necessary with the bringing of better coagulations; for when tissue becomes involved - either from pressure produced by the outflow of blood from portions of the system or the system becoming clogged by the inactivity of the circulation through same, from pressure - either produced by gas or by ANY form of pressure in the body - it becomes necessary that these be RECUPERATIVE in
69-3 Page 3
the impulse that carries the circulation through the affected portions.
10. Then, we would take half a teaspoonful of Alcaroid after each meal, for a period of three to five days. Then we would take this same dosage once each day until the system has adjusted itself.
11. Use the enemas to cleanse the colon.
12. As we find, these will bring the greater ease and relief for the distresses of the body.
13. In the mental forces, these are well. Little may be given other than, keep that thou hast held - and do hold as the principles of activity in the mental body; for the SPIRIT is willing, and - as known of self - when the self allows the spiritual force and the recognition of the fatherhood of God in the activity through the system - the mental, the physical, the spiritual forces coordinate one with another.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) Regarding the physical: Why did not the exercise given in former reading bring relief? [69-2, Par. 17-A] (A) There was not sufficient of the incentive created to relieve these pressures, and the accumulations began to be more and more detrimental to the condition. There should have been more severe or DEEPER activity to bring the desired action. Now it becomes necessary for the changes as given.
16. (Q) Please give cause of urine irritation, and cure. (A) With the accumulations of toxic forces there is naturally, from the position of the distress in colon, the pressure produced on the activity of the kidneys themselves. Hence, with the restrained activity and the attempt of the circulation to carry through, produces those disorders. Hence the necessity of the use of those properties as given, that will create a balance as the pressure is being removed. As indicated, first there should be a HEALING for those AFFECTED portions, through the enemas that may remove the greater portion of the refuse forces. As the body eliminates better, the pressures will be removed and the activity of the principles given in the Alcaroid will bring the more normal condition, with the relief of the pressure and irritation in this portion of system.
17. (Q) Please give cause of irritation in right foot and change in shape of toe nails, also cure. (A) With the relief of the pressure on those portions of system that so easily affect the circulation from the lumbar
69-3 Page 4
area throughout the whole portion, we will find that these conditions will be relieved and improved. It is the CONTRACTION of the nerve and muscular forces in the limbs making for the variation in the activities.
18. (Q) Give remedy for hurting feet. (A) There is in that combination known as Dog On Foot that which will relieve the strain that has been on the muscular forces. This massaged twice each day, very small quantity on toes and on the ball and burses of the feet (or soles of feet), will relieve the strain THERE; but the CAUSE needs to be relieved.
19. (Q) What is cause of gas in intestine, and how can it be overcome? (A) This is from the accumulations, or the plethora condition that exists in the transverse colon. With the use of those things given, those properties to create the incentives for the system, this will be removed.
20. (Q) Is it harmful to take Innerclean as a laxative every night? (A) This, under many or most conditions, is not harmful. In the present condition the body finds it rather irritating; for this needs to be cleansed more thoroughly. Hence the enemas.
21. (Q) Explain the weak feeling at times below breast bone? (A) This is, as we have given, from the pressure produced on the pylorus or lower end of stomach to the hypogastric, or to the cardiac end, that makes for the FULLNESS there, and the weakness or dizziness comes from the pressure on the diaphragm in this portion of system. With the REMOVAL of those conditions specifically that exist in the transverse colon, we will find that these will disappear.
22. (Q) Give cause of sharp pain in lower left side at times. (A) This is from the pressure on the colon, that comes from the pressure in the transverse area, and the pressure on the organs that work WITH the activity of kidneys.
23. (Q) How often should I take an internal bath? (A) These should be taken until the pressure across the transverse colon is removed, or - if taken in this manner - we would find relief in a few treatments; five to six: With the first two quarts of tepid water put a level tablespoonful of salt and two level tablespoonsful of baking soda. In the last quart (or rinsing water), after the first has been cleansed and ejected, use a teaspoonful of Glyco-Thymoline and a teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth.
69-3 Page 5
This will make for healing and for the tendency of CLEANSING the walls of the colon; this in the pockets is that that has NOT as yet been removed. A massage while the bath is being taken, across the lower portion of the bowel or across the colon, gently given, would be well.
24. (Q) Has the uterus at any time been infected, as I was told last year and treated for same? (A) We do not find the indications that it HAS been infected, other than from the PRESSURES created in the colon and their bearing upon the activity of the kidneys and the bladder.
25. (Q) How may I reduce without exercise? (A) Only through the diet, and this would be rather questionable to do at present status of conditions. Rather would there be those activities AND diet combined in a more mild form, after there had been a cleansing of those conditions that disturb the system. Then we would have rather the fruit and the character of meat diets without too much starches, and SOME activity in the bending or rolling exercise; which would reduce WITHOUT the disturbance to the equilibrium of the system. To attempt such in the present would soon unbalance the metabolism too much.
26. (Q) May I eat sweets? (A) Not to a great extent, for these are gas forming in the present.
27. (Q) Regarding the mental and spiritual: Being one that is trying to help others gain help, happiness and success through spiritual means, am I not showing a lack of faith by seeking help through this channel? (A) Should it be considered in self that the source, or the information, is not of the same nature as that being attempted to be given, then it's in fault! If they are one, as it is thought by self as God being One, then it is all one and the same - and should be sought!
28. (Q) Please explain cause of seeming standstill of spiritual progress? (A) The PHYSICAL condition!
29. (Q) How may I gain a greater understanding in my evolution than otherwise I am doing? (A) Do not be weary in well-doing. Keep that thou hast. Follow in that thou knowest, and - as given - it is step by step. Do not be impatient.
30. (Q) Did I come here to do a specific work? (A) As ALL have a specific work, so are the activities of
69-3 Page 6
self to be in cleansing self's own understanding and enabling others to find the way to know themselves and Him.
31. (Q) Have I been the means of helping many through meditation? (A) Many, many, many.
32. (Q) Do I go about it in the right way? (A) As the results have come, and as the conditions are changed for self, then the changes as to the manner or way may be changed. As results or fruits are shown, keep in the way that has been given.
33. (Q) Is it necessary for one to feel vibration in helping others? (A) Not necessary, unless there is felt within self that it must be a form of expression. If the results come, then it is known. How often gave He that "Virtue has gone out of me," or that the vibration by the touch of faith had required strength of Him? for, as it has been given, each in their OWN way and manner approach that NECESSARY for the accomplishing of the KNOWING of wherein the help cometh. Find not fault with another, that their own approach is different. Only aid in that thou knowest.
34. (Q) Please interpret the dream had last year, a copy of which I hold in my hand. (My husband and I seemed to be in a large dwelling, and looking out towards the sky we saw large black circles floating through the air. We thought this very strange, and soon discovered that the circles looked like black auto tires or large truck tires. Suddenly, out of the sky a big black machine, resembling the large caterpillar machines used during the World War, came down to earth. We said we had better get out of the place, for we realized that it was the intention of this machine to crush people to death. Too, we realized that it meant troublous times; so we tried to get out of its way as quickly as possible. We walked down to the river front, and there saw a British ship tied up at the wharf. Someone said it had fired on the lone watchman while in his office on the wharf, but found out later that the watchman had fired on the British ship - which seemed to please us very much. We realized that there were troublous times in the making; and I was very much afraid. We walked further down the long wharf and saw many more British ships.) (A) In this there is seen rather the prophetic vision as relating to those peoples that were mostly shown, or given in the vision, as to the straits to which those peoples
69-3 Page 7
would pass - are passing. The FEAR that was felt would be the NATURAL tendency of self as a HUMAN individual, KNOWING and feeling the relationships of that land to the whole world - as related to self's own associations or peoples. The conditions seen - as from whence the aid or power came, as if from on high, in the form of the circles that increased as they BALLOONED in their action through the heavens - indicate the way, character or manner that peoples would aid themselves, in the appeal rather to the spiritual than to the power of FORCE that was impelled by the act of the lone watchman.
