Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [69], present in this room, who seeks information, advice and guidance, as to her health, her mental and spiritual unfoldment. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [69], present in this room; this we have had before.
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Were the treatments by Jane Witcher given correctly, and how many should have been taken? (A) In part these were given very well. There were times, however, NOT very well. There should have been at least five or six more than were taken. For in the activities of the therapeutic value of such treatments, there is required those necessary reactions as should take place. And the number taken was not sufficient to give as much reaction as the body should have. As we find, if there is given the proper administration, especially as a stimulation to the circulation between the liver and the kidneys, and those activities of the pancreas and the spleen, it would prevent - and also rid the body of much of those tendencies for the accumulation of gases through the intestinal tract, and eliminate to a great extent those tendencies for the disturbances in this particular portion of the circulation.
5. (Q) Does the blood stream contain too much sugar? (A) At times, it does.
6. (Q) What kind of food have I been eating that causes gas in intestines and irritation of skin? (A) All those forms of food that have an effluvium, or that would be called "mossy," or that produce same, even in their fermentation.
7. (Q) Should enemas be taken; if so, how often? (A) These as we find would be beneficial at times. Six
69-6 Page 2
weeks apart should be sufficient distance, provided, in the use of the enemas, there is used the intestinal antiseptic that does not take away the flow or the activity of the lymph but allows a normal free supply of same. So, we would use at such times the salt and soda. While one is wholly an alkalizer, the reaction at the time depends a great deal upon the manner in which they are mixed. To a quart and a half of body temperature water to be injected, use a heaping teaspoonful of salt and a level teaspoonful of soda, dissolved thoroughly.
8. (Q) Are organs of body in their proper places; if so, why the uncomfortable feeling in lower abdomen? (A) As indicated, the forms of gas do not arise from any misplacement of organs but rather some diffusions in the vegetables and other properties taken in the diet. If there is the adherence to those suggestions indicated, we should find these would eliminate the sources and the causes of the gas formation in the jejunum and upper portion of colon.
9. (Q) What causes the weak feeling at times? (A) This arises from not sufficient stimuli in blood stream to react upon those requirements in the physical exertions of the body. Hence as we find, all of those activities that have been or may be indicated, are parts of a general pattern for the body in its physical, material and mental well being.
10. (Q) What should be done about the phlegm that is so very annoying? (A) The usage of the soda and salt in the enemas will tend to eliminate a great deal of the phlegm, as well as the mucous in portions of the alimentary canal. Should there continue to be the irritation of the skin, use some good powder - as Stearate of Zinc Powder - with Balsam. Use this for the rash that occurs on parts of the body.
11. (Q) Give help for eyes. (A) What is called the head and neck movement is the best application for the eyes for this body. Do not attempt to use on this body the high electrical vibrations as from violet ray. The sponge applicator of the electrically driven vibrator would be helpful for the body, but do not combine or mix other appliances with same.
12. (Q) Are the present glasses the right kind? (A) These are very good.
13. (Q) For feet? What make of shoes carries the inner cushion (A) Any good shoe that has been builded for the special purpose of maintaining or keeping the arch in accord

with the rest of the body. As to say this or that particular brand of shoe - it might be well today and tomorrow there might be a batch or quite a number not wholly up to general conditions or needs of the body! But this could be very well approached to an UNDERSTANDING foot man.
14. (Q) What causes the vibration in my body when I am on the verge of sleep, also during my afternoon nap when I usually hear a bell - that wakes me suddenly, but no one has been ringing a bell? (A) This is an experience of the entire soul, and the reaction is both through the mental and soul. It comes close to the border line. OPEN the door only to Him.
15. (Q) What has hindered me from receiving the promise made in my Oct. 1931 reading, that I would feel and see the precious Master, Jesus the Christ, in the present? (A) We find that still is holding good. The entity has been so close. Keep quiet within, as ye meditate. For, as He has given, "As ye open the door, I will enter - Be not afraid, it is I." These shall be the experiences of this entity.
16. (Q) Should I continue in the prayer group work, or do something else? (A) This must be a choice within self. Needed very much in those activities of the prayer group, but this must be the choice of self.
17. (Q) What specific work did I come to this planet to do, and how much longer do I have to stay? (A) You have to stay so long as there are the needs for the unfoldment of those that have come to rely upon the entity! Where failure has come - not failure, but rather the neglect to hold to the opportunity presented at times. How long remain in this sphere? This alone may the inner consciousness dedicate, or indicate.
18. (Q) Why is it that I do not have any desire to do any work pertaining to war? (Q) The aversion to war and its outcome.
19. (Q) Do I have any part to play in the coming days? (A) This: As the entity finds here, there are the needs for those that hold to the ideals first that there must be the peace within self. In their material manifestation these in part have been a disturbance to the body, as would be indicated from how the entity reacted in the Persian and the Egyptian appearances.
20. (Q) What was that reaction? (A) In the Persian, as may be indicated from the reading given, when the entity acted as a helpful influence in the teaching and ministry to those that were of different or
69-6 Page 4
varied faiths. In the Egyptian, when there were the preparations of those that became as emissaries.
21. (Q) What is the happening today which will greatly determine the outcome of the war? (A) You will find it within your own land, as well as in others, as respecting the common peoples.
22. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Keep hold on that seeking for the Christ-Consciousness. For this will come, if there will be the consistent and persistent "Thy will be done, 0 Lord, in me; and help me to serve where and when I am needed most."
