1. EC: We find in this case severe vertigo at times produced by hyperemia of the brain, or sudden rush of blood to the head; we have also an overtaxed condition of the hepatic circulation, also, inactivity of the pancreas; spleenic action also impaired; one side of the spleen has a hardened appearance, consequently, poor circulation in same. Reactive power of white nerve tissue is poor; in other words, does not react to stimulus as it should. We have full capillary circulation, lack of digestive power in the stomach, and exceeding acid condition of the urine at times, along with a great deal of sediment, which shows that the system is losing a great deal of its much needed vitality or building power. Patient is afraid of himself; in other words, does not have self-confidence.

2. Beginning at the brain, we find this hyperemic condition, and an overtaxed condition of the nerves in the cervical region. We have considerable pain in the neck and in the facial nerves and muscles; have pain also in the head and eyes - pain seems to start at the base of the brain and extend into facial muscles; it is not caused by trouble in the brain, but by reflexed troubles in the trunk of the body. The afferent and efferent nerve impulses are deficient at times; consequently, the flow of the blood is not constant. In other words, one set of nerve fibers carries the impression from the brain, and, the other one carries out the effect or results; we also have a lack of nerve-force, and also a lack of equilibrium in the nerve tissue; especially to the nerves distributed to the sides of the jaw and face; consequently, we have pains in the head, through the neck, extending into the cervical region. Going into the lumbar region, we find pain and uneasiness at the first lumbar vertebrae; this is reflex from the kidneys. A little higher up, we find pain from the solar plexus nerve center; also, we find pain from the sympathetic plexus that supplies the spleen. The circulation in the liver, kidney and spleen seems to be interfered with to a greater or less extent - worse sometimes - better others; consequently, digestive organs are impaired. This body is broken down.

We will have to rebuild by directing the forces along the channel that nature intended; build it through the products taken into it. Heretofore, the assimilation has been poor. There has not been enough food taken into the stomach; the unstable equilibrium of the mind and nerve tissue has made it impossible for the system to use what was taken in; as a result, we have a wasting away of the tissue; the white nerve tissue seems to have lost its power. This man is not nervous all the time, but sometimes, he seems to lose confidence in himself; in other words, he becomes afraid of himself. The mind governs the body more or less; consequently, the mind should dwell on beautiful things if we would have a healthy body. We have a lack of carbon in this system; in other words, he needs more material food stuff in his system to be used up instead of using so much of his vitality; his blood has not been properly acted on by the oxygen in the lung; there is also lack of white blood corpuscles. We need more white blood corpuscles to wage war against any invading bacteria that may infest his system. There is a decided lack of leucocytes in this body. Now, to rebuild this body; the first thing to do is to rebuild forces into the body. First thing to establish is self-confidence; we need stimulation; we need electrical energy; we would advise manipulation along the spine, either mechanical or manipulation with the hands, osteopathy; also electrical treatment; in fact, he needs this most to help rebuild the broken down forces. This man should be treated regularly; stimulate nerve tissue; drink plenty of water. There are lesions along the spine, they should be removed; especially, in the cervical region. If this is carried out, he will soon rest well at night, and not be so restless; as it is, he wakes up at times and cannot go to sleep. He won't get well in a day. It will take perseverance and patience to overcome this condition. These shifting pains, first in one part of the body and then the other are all of a reflex nature; relieve one of these, and we will have the condition of the others much benefited. Do not overload the stomach; eat sparingly; every stomach is its own best purveyor; plenty of exercise in the open air. Keep him on his feet as much as possible during the day, but get at least eight hours sleep every night. Internal carbo-vegetabolis in increasing doses as a stomach tonic; plenty of electricity; plenty of manipulation; and plenty of heat in the body, as that is life.
