1. EC: Yes, we have the body, Mrs. [98]. Now, we find there are rather those conditions of which the body should be warned. While the conditions at present cause distresses, these are of the nature that - unless changes ARE made, the results will be even greater distress than at present, and while these would apparently not be for the conditions firstly, yet with these corrections and these conditions brought near normal, we will find the other will be greatly changed, to where the near normal functioning may be expected, for many days to come.

2. These, then, are conditions as we find them as related to the changes necessary to be brought about in the body. There has existed for times back conditions in the upper dorsal region, that has gradually brought about that of a near circular lesion in the 6th and 7th dorsal center; sympathetically, 9th and 5th also show reflexes. In the condition produced, the blood supply does not carry the eliminations properly; neither does that assimilated build properly, and the functioning of the organs - as has been hindered - is the cause of same. Namely, the pancreas and the spleen, with the liver and hepatic circulation. These produce other sympathetic conditions, for the body has had those conditions that - where the mucus producing portions of the system have been involved - irritations have resulted in different portions of the body.

3. But, to bring the near normal conditions, and to meet that as is necessary for the corrections, we would first correct, osteopathically, those conditions existent in the cerebrospinal system - ESPECIALLY in the adjustments in the dorsal regions, as given, though these adjustments should not be made more than once each week, for there would be too great a strain and too great a change brought about by correction all at once - but gradually - every other treatment, at least, should be a full gentle massage, manipulating all of the centers throughout the cerebrospinal

system; not neglecting the sacral and coccyx.

4. Also we would add to those, those of the sinusoidal ray, especially as related to the liver and spleen. Not BOTH in or during the same treatment, but FOLLOWING the activities of the ray, so that the organs and the functioning of same - that is, the liver and the spleen - are stimulated to their proper activity. Not giving the vibration longer than three minutes each treatment. These should be given at least once each week.

5. We would also be careful of the diet. Principally those foods that carry less of sugars and less of starches. These of whole wheat. Those meats of fish or oysters, or such shell fish, or that carry iodine. These of the vegetables that carry most of the iron and the stimuli in that direction; phosphorus, silicon, and such. These are the characteristics of those that should be taken. Little stimuli of coffee or tea. Preferably those that are of the grains, or as Ovaltine or Cocoa - occasionally may be taken. These, as we find, followed persistently, should - in four to six months - bring the near normal forces for this body. We are through for the present.
