1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [99], present in this room. Also those associations and relations as regarding the various phases of the body's life. These, while varied, have been and are exceptional. Much might be given as concerning those principles and those tenets as have been and are a portion of the body's life - but ready for questions.
2. (Q) Would it be to the body's best interest to remain in Manhasset? (A) That dependent upon the body's desires. As is seen, the conditions here - considered for the moment from the purely material standpoint - these are builded on a firm foundation. There are those surroundings, in friends and business associates, business relations, that is such as may be considered enviable by many; yet there is an air of not wholly satisfied, NOT with the conditions as regarding moneys, not with conditions as regarding social or personal affairs, but rather the seeking for a SOMETHING that, as yet, has NOT been wholly answered.
Then, in considering this, and under these conditions, there is SEEN that THIS must be the ultimate outcome: To remain, is to become either more mediocre in the manner of business, or special hard work must be made to SATISFY self and self's surroundings; yet these would be well, and the body able - physically and MENTALLY - to meet such conditions and to make life PLEASANT by dint of will, and of personal application of the body's and associates' abilities. So, then, the choice should be made by self.
In CONSIDERING the place and the surroundings as regarding others, or other places, this may be a very trueism for this body; In whatever field, or whatever locality the body may choose to put forth its endeavors, there will come with the same policies, with the same efforts, SUCCESS - financially,

socially, and in many places the MENTAL conditions would be much bettered.
3. (Q) Should the body - or if the body remains in Manhasset - should he build on his own lot on Plandome Road? (A) He should.
4. (Q) Would it be to the best interest of my wife and me to locate at Virginia Beach for business success, health and happiness? or where would be best? (A) As given, any place the body may make the success FINANCIALLY, will the same policies, the same purpose, be kept as has existed and does exist. As for the health, the temperament, the conditions - while there would arise at times some very discouraging conditions, yet as much or more moneys may be made in Virginia Beach as in Manhasset. This we would give rather as the line in the Beach - a DRUG store!
5. (Q) What location at the Beach would be best - and can the body finance it? (A) Any place near the center of the business. That as has been occupied by the Atlantic Coast Realty Company very good - may be obtained - may be financed - room could be made sufficient - and these would be very good. A slow process, sure - but faith, confidence, and the FUTURE - most satisfying.
6. (Q) Should body buy, build or rent at Virginia Beach, and when? (A) Rent in the beginning. SATISFY self. Satisfy self's surroundings. Buy or build a home, however.
7. (Q) What is the body best fitted for? (A) Meeting people - that's the best thing its fitted for. Making MEN out of PIECES - making people UNDERSTAND the GOLDEN Rule.
8. (Q) What special investment can I make to bring me satisfactory returns for 1930? (A) This dependent upon what characters of investments sought. Whether as for speculative and quick returns, or for sure and certain returns. In stocks or bonds, MANY are the conditions to be considered. As has been given, East Coast good, as this is safe, sure, so long as its present policies remain. As for speculative - wait until many of the breaks are over, before we would invest, or when near the low's - and of those that are of the combine - American Tel, Radio, Western Union, Westinghouse, or such - these will be, eventually - for combines - and in their lowest, these may be used as speculative, or any of those that are to change in the breaks - C & O or N & W, or Pennsylvania - these are long time, but sure - as is Southern, eventually -
