1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [99], present in this room, and all phases of his business activities and associates, both in Virginia Beach, Va., and in Manhasset, Long Island, N. Y. You will answer all questions which I will ask you relative to same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [99], present in this room. Also the associations and relations, and business connections. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) How can the body obtain further financial support to carry on the business of the ... Drug Company? (A) There should be much consideration given in the undertaking. While these conditions as surround same may be considered in the general manner as of an acute condition, the general conditions over the business world are such that these are NOT more acute than with others, or in other lines. This is being considered from more than one standpoint. As has been given, that the body should open such a place, for the satisfaction, for the contentment, for the peace of mind - yet these conditions have, and do present much OTHER than that of a contentment, or peace of mind, WHEN viewed wholly from the material viewpoint; yet there may be many channels through which additional capital, or credit, may be had. Most, as we find, should be confined - as near as possible - to the abilities of the body as respecting those things, those of the various characters of conditions as are held already in hand. Those who have associated with, those who HAVE assisted the body under various circumstances, various conditions, will aid in a sufficient manner - until there is the opportunity to dispose of, exchange, or align various interests of the body - in such a manner as to carry on. These must be worked out by the body, by the body association, by the body associates, and this will be found - that as the willingness to do, as the opportunity offers itself, the body will be able to carry on. Carry on as if the capital were unlimited; not in an extravagant manner, no - but in a

manner as in keeping with the conditions as surround the body in every respect.
4. (Q) Will the winter business justify purchasing additional equipment for the lunch business and the fountain? (A) It should, provided that is not done on too large a scale, or too extravagant in the conducting of same.
5. (Q) Is [5513] the proper person for the position he now occupies as manager of the store? (A) As has been given, the ABILITIES are there. Is the willingness to serve made in accord WITH the abilities, very good - excellent.
6. (Q) Is the ... Drug Company, or a subsidiary corporation of same, to be the manufacturers of the pharmaceutical products prepared from formulas obtained through the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce? (A) This has yet to be wholly determined by circumstances as will surround same.
7. (Q) What would be the best plan to follow in closing the business in Manhasset? (A) Choose a time or period when there is the most aptibility and plausibility for the peoples to have the most monies, or capable of obtaining same and dispose of same - not as of a loss, but as of a special sale or inducement.
8. (Q) When should this be done? (A) In the middle of November to the middle or latter part of December.
9. (Q) Should the vacant lot that the body owns in Manhasset be offered for sale now? (A) A more propitious time will be about April or June of next year.
10. (Q) At what price should the body sell the lot? (A) From twenty to twenty-two thousand.
11. (Q) Should the body offer the home in Manhasset for sale, or try to rent same? (A) The body will find that the LEASING of same would be the most satisfactory as to the price, for we find there IS to be - especially in the spring and summer of next year - an especial advance in property in and about Manhasset, for this - as seen - is to receive one of the first of that as may be called a boom, or a SUCCESSIVE boom for properties.
12. (Q) Give the body any advice and council that will help him at this time. (A) Has the body determined in self that it has chosen wisely and well in its activities day by day? In its choice of association in every direction, are they in keeping with the ideal the body has sought, does seek, and in taking such stock of self the body will find SOME changes, SOME

conditions that amendments or change will be gradually brought about. Think not to destroy anything by the merely quitting or changing of same, until a whole consciousness is gained of the PURPOSE of it all. Do not fight blindly or in the dark, for the whole of the physical and mental training of the body has been - and is - of a purpose, or a reason for accomplishing or going about any activity. Then, are those activities - are those purposes - in accord with the ideal as is builded, as is sought, as may be FOUND BY the self? Then work like thunder! We are through.
