1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are some abnormal conditions in this body, and these have to do with a general debilitation and the effect this produces on certain functioning organs causes the greater distress throughout the system. While this has not reached that proportion that it would be called the organic conditions, yet the organs become so involved that their debilitation causes distresses.
3. Now these are the conditions as we find them in this body, [103], we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find subnormal and lacking in vitality in quantity and quality for the rebuilding of the body in the normal manner, from the used forces, from the age and the conditions as have existed and do exist in the system.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find very good in many ways, yet the sympathetic system has been so overtaxed that with strain at times on the cerebrospinal system produced a great deal of irritation and of the inability of the body to control self through the nerves. Hence many things "get on the nerves", as it were, at times, producing more irritation, by lack of ability to concentrate self sufficiently to throw off, see? This, with the weakened conditions produced in system, causes troubles with the digestion, with the circulation, with the condition in the feet - the capillary circulation becoming affected in this nerve reaction as comes from this, as we shall see through certain centers in the trunk portion of the body.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good.
7. Sensory organism rather strained. Throat, lungs, larynx, bronchials, these we see under the stress of those condition
103-1 Page 2
as are produced in circulation and in nerve system, with functional conditions as are affected through the digestion, and we find this the greater seat of the troubles, for the various changes as come to those distressing portions of system vary from the digestion, see?
8. Heart's action then below normal.
9. The liver slow or cold in its action - blood condition and the organ itself not supplying sufficient in the secretive or excretive organs of digestion and of the organ itself.
10. Upper intestinal tract shows the strain from the indigestion as is produced in pyloric end of stomach, even to where the burning sensations are often apparent, with pains in the upper portion of the chest, or at the upper part of diaphragm, from this slow circulation, too full internal, low in capillary, when the lymphatics become involved in condition, when we see the effect of same in joints and in extremities, see?
11. Kidneys slow in functioning and overtaxed. Much of the poisons in system are produced from same, as is in the colon, from the condition in intestines.
12. Then, to bring the better normal conditions for the system, we would first do this: Then afterward we would give other suggestions for the improvement of the system.
13. To one gallon of rain water, add: Sarsaparilla Root...................2 ounces, Wild Cherry Bark....................2 ounces, Calisaya Bark.......................2 ounces, Prickly Ash Bark....................2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root....................2 ounces, Burdock Root........................2 ounces, Black Root..........................2 ounces, Elder Flower........................4 ounces.
14. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one quart. Strain and while warm add 2 ounces Beet Sugar, dissolved in 2 ounces of hot water (distilled water) - 4 ounces grain alcohol, with 3 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in same.
15. The dose of this would be teaspoonful 4 times each day, before meals and before retiring.
16. Let the meals be of those properties easily digested. Much of the whole wheat gruel, rolled oats and of bran mashes, or such for breakfast. Fruits and vegetables for the lunch, preferably these in soups and liquid diet, see? Wild game if any meat is taken, or small quantity of fish, with green vegetables, taken in the evening meal, see? Some may be cooked, preferably all those that grow above the

ground, see? Little of tuberous nature, see? Plenty of water should always be taken in the system, taking at least a quart and a pint each day, see? so that we may flood the whole system, see, and keep the eliminations throughout the system, even though oil enemas or warm enemas may be resorted to, when there is not sufficient action, see?
17. The condition in other portions of system will be met as these are corrected, through blood, through eliminations, through vibrations as will be set in motion by the vegetable compound as given here. Do that.
18. We are through for the present.
