1. EC: Now, we find abnormal conditions in this body. They have to do with those of a bacilli that was in the system in times back (some four or five years) and the condition at the present time comes more from the effects of this condition, and has to do with the structural forces and with the functioning of organs and the nerve system in its inability to perform those functionings of the voluntary nature.

2. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [107], we are speaking of. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this is below normal in pressure and in rebuilding portions, save in that of the hemoglobin proper, but that of the energy is carried in red blood cellular force storing that vibration necessary to create in the body reserved energy is so below the normal that the development in the system is not to the normal condition.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find there are centers that are so acted upon and so incased by lesions in the system as to produce the inactivity through voluntary forces, producing incoordination in the cerebrospinal in portions of the extremities, and in the head and neck. In the perineurium of the centers in the fifth cervical, seventh and eighth dorsal and sacral plexuses do we find these conditions show how the body in its structural development is hindered. In the sympathetic nerve system this is very good for the conditions as is seen in the physical, yet has its abnormal effect, for much of the locomotion becomes affected through the sympathetic and the action then becomes more of involuntary than voluntary forces.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find in most of these are very good, save in the trunk portion of body. Subnormal heart action at times, especially when these involuntary forces overtax the body. In the digestive tract at such times the pneumogastric center becomes sympathetically involved, causing the foods or properties taken in the system to digest improperly.

6. In the functioning of the hepatic circulation, and the

organs and appendages thereto, we find these show the effect rather of the blood supply and of the organ functioning under the condition of a depleted blood force than of organic conditions. The lesion in the sacral affects the kidneys directly at times, but only at times.

7. RELIEF, to give the normal effect to this body, take in the system those properties carrying much vitamin to give replenishing forces to blood supply. Take then this: To one gallon of rain water, add:

Wild Cherry Bark.........4 ounces, Yellow Dock Root.........2 ounces, Elder Flower.............2 ounces.

8. Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to one quart. Strain while warm and add one ounce of Balsam of Tolu, cut in four ounces of grain alcohol. The dose would be teaspoonful three times each day, after meals, giving for meals those of proteins and of vegetable matter. Let at least one meal be of whole wheat, crushed and made in gruel. Not too much sugar. Fruit and those properties that will affect the system in rebuilding. Use the deep massage of the osteopath to remove lesions in the system, with the violet ray over the whole portion of the body affected, once each day for not more than two and one-half minutes, along the spine (front and back) and across the sacral region. Across the diaphragm in front, and spine in back.

9. Do that. Be persistent, consistent in treatment accorded the system. We will find within fourteen to eighteen months the body will be brought to its normal forces.
