Time of Reading Unknown. ..., Ohio.

1. LBC: You are now asleep and will be able to tell us what we want to know. You have before you [110], ..., Ohio; he is before you now.

2. EC: [110], ..., Ohio. Yes, we have him here.

3. (Q) Now I want you to go over him carefully and examine him thoroughly and tell us what is the trouble with his eyes. What is the cause of it? (A) He cannot see very well.

4. (Q) Tell us the conditions. (A) They are out of focus. He can see from out the side of his eyes, turn his head side-wise. Looking directly in front he does not see. It is from the condition we have of the lens of the eye or the action of the light on the lens of the eye to what is carried to the optic nerve to see with. The impression of the eye is the impression that is received here through the nerve to the action of the brain to the lens of the eye. The condition existing in the eye has allowed the lens to be ruined, get out of focus. From the side we see, from the center it does not show. The condition of the cortex of the nerve itself, drawing here; we have the connection to the eye at the back of the head, to the eye in the head. This has drawn until we have the eye as it were pushed out here - the lens, the pupil, the eye proper we see with. Comes first here from the strain on the eye. This is the condition now.

5. (Q) What has caused this trouble? (A) Let me get the conditions here.

6. (Q) Is it a cataract? (A) We have here now in 1900. This commenced then. We have the eyes inflamed, the lids, the eyeballs but not in the eye yet. Produced from strain from the nerve force here produced here in the system of this man. This overstrain from the back of the head reverted to his eye. We have the eyes then strained from light (artificial, not daylight) until we have the eye inflamed, full, the blood has been forced to the eye. Nature trying to absorb the condition from the inflammation carried out, it is overtaxed. This

overtaxed condition has produced to the eye this trouble, left it in this over-strained condition. We have the applications to the eye that has dilated the pupil, inflammation in taking away from the conditions around the eye from the nerve supply and blood supply of these forces around, comes through the sensory system through the senses here. Now this has produced then to the system an overtaxation of the sympathetics, through this condition here trying to eliminate the condition of the eye until we have darkness to the whole eye. Then the absorbing of the condition from the system here externally produces then back to the eye. Taking away the inflammation has left the condition in the pupil of the eye as we have here in 1910. To remove the condition from the eye that we have there at present we will have to act through the sensory system and through the sympathetic system until we absorb the condition here to allow the cortex to expand enough to get enough of the nerve matter back to the eye to produce a fullness, a shape to the lens of the eye, to produce the whole vision to the eye.

7. (Q) Is that what is called a cataract? (A) This is to the nerve itself, back side of the cortex of the nerve. Now you see we have here the sensory system, we have the optic nerve coming here to the back of the eye just as we have the vision reflected we have the pupil that reflects - throws the vision back until we get the sense of sight. We have an outside coat, the cortex of the nerve itself drawn down.

8. (Q) What treatment would you prescribe? (A) Treat it through the mind and treat it through the sensory system; the sensory system has the control of the senses. Keep down the inflammation as we have produced it, we will have inflammation come back as it went out.

9. (Q) Will he gain vision? (A) He is going blind if it stays like it is. He can be cured if you could get control over his mind and the treatment is in proper condition.

10. (Q) Will electricity help it any? (A) Electricity is not going to give him any mind. It gets on the nervous system. Here we have the nervous system then, we have the sensory system through the sense, through the mind that takes care of the whole man - the subconscious man - get him under his senses, control of the outside. The sensory system can be controlled from the outside by another normal mind. As we control the mind we can then produce inflammation back to the eye until we can reduce the

inflammation. He will go blind if you do not get it that way. If we do not treat it through his mind you cannot remove it and he is going blind.
