Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., W. Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes; there's a good deal of improvement in the body from that we last had. While there has been at times some misconstruction placed upon the properties given for the correction, the use of same in the manner that has been applied - and especially with the corrections that have been made in the cerebrospinal system - has brought great improvement.

2. At those periods (which should be from one to two days at a time) the ONLY diet would be grapes; not grapefruit, but at other times grapefruit juices are to be taken as a one diet at one meal or a period of the day, see?

3. The grape poultices across the intestines and bowels have been most helpful. These should be worn each day for periods of three days, and the grape diet should be the whole diet during the three days, you see; letting about three days elapse between each period of such treatments at first, and gradually increase the time elapsing between the use of these until there would be ten days between each period of grape treatment. But the grape poultices should be made a little bit thicker. Let them be an inch and a half thick rather than half an inch or spread. You see, the heat from the body will cook the grapes. Don't cook them. Apply them raw. Only mash them and put in those containers, you see; with the hulls, yes, but mashed.

4. Between the periods of the grape and grapefruit diet, in the beginning use a liquid diet consisting of the citrus fruit juices of mornings (such as grapefruit, oranges, lemons and limes) and the vegetable juices at other meals; gradually - that is, in eight to ten days - beginning to add the semi-solid foods as in this manner:

5. Mornings - citrus fruit juices (either the juice of one or the other of such fruit), with browned whole wheat toast that may be buttered if so desired, and a little coffee; or preferable to coffee would be Ovaltine or any CEREAL drink,

though if coffee is taken it should be without cream or milk.

6. Noons - not too much should be taken at this meal, and that only of vegetable juices. And the preferable way to prepare such juices would be through cooking the vegetables after tying them in Patapar paper; not putting them in water to boil, but cooking either in the Patapar paper or in a steam steamer, so that only the juices from the vegetables may be obtained - and no water added in the cooking at all. Then these juices should be combined and seasoned to the taste. This activity will build into the system the proper associations with that which has been indicated by the corrections in the spine, and make for the corrections in the activities throughout the digestive system.

7. Evenings - (these foods only added gradually, after the eight to ten day period) - a little chicken or mutton broth, but very little of the meat itself. A little later the body may begin with stewed chicken, or broiled chicken or broiled fish, and well-cooked vegetables - but not with too much grease in same. Even these vegetables and the chicken or fish would be better cooked in the Patapar paper or a steam cooker.

8. With the spinal corrections and doing these, we will find we will bring the improvements.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Should colonic flushings be repeated daily? (A) It is too much for them to be repeated daily; gradually they should be farther and farther apart; about once a week, a little bit later about every other week, until all the inflammation and all the mucous is removed from the colon itself. Keep up the manipulations and massage.

11. (Q) Are the spinal treatments being given correctly? (A) VERY good! But be consistent and persistent with all of these.

12. (Q) Would sun baths be beneficial; if so, what portions of the body should be exposed most to the sun? (A) Sun baths would NOT be beneficial JUST at the present. The light baths may be given; that is, a shaded light over whole portions of the body - or with the body perfectly nude. But the body should not be in the direct sunlight, for this - as yet - would be more harmful than beneficial. A little later it may be done. At present the shaded light would be more beneficial; and before such is used it would be well for the body to be massaged all over with olive oil then be placed in the shaded light.

13. (Q) Is it best for the body to try to sit up? (A) In a week or ten days, yes.

14. (Q) What makes the hamstring leaders in the legs draw so? (A) Poisons from those accumulations in the system, and the tendencies for the contraction of these. Keep these massaged, and we will find this will be overcome as the poisons are eliminated and a fresh blood supply is made. For the blood supply is added to three times each day if meals are taken, else we would never recuperate or change a whole body every seven years; it is a CONSTANT growth. No condition of a physical nature should be REMAINING unless it has been hamstrung by operative forces or strictures or tissue that may not be absorbed; and even this may be changed if it is taken patiently and persistently - in ANY body!

15. (Q) Can the bowels be raised off the bladder without an operation? (A) With these corrections, and with the changing of those activities throughout the system, these of themselves will be PLACED - as it were, and not with an operation. An operation will put them closer - make MORE pressure! Do these, consistently and persistently, and we will see results coming for this body.

16. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file [The Patapar paper for cooking the foods should be obtained at any ten cent store or department store, or the like. It is made by the Paterson Parchment Paper Co., Bristol, Penna. I am enclosing a sample for your use. Prepare the vegetables or any other foods for cooking...that is, clean and cut in small pieces...and tie up in the paper, using a stout white cord. Put in Boiler of water (not letting water get inside of paper) and boil from thirty-five to forty-five minutes, depending on what is being cooked. The paper may be washed...just as a cloth...and used again and again. GD.]
