1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [136] of New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [136]. This we have had here before. The dreams come to the entity through the various phases of the experiences of the body mind, the mental mind, and the transition of either or both in sleep. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Morning of November 23, 1926. I dreamed I awakened at 3 A.M. That at this time I heard a man outside of my bedroom door and I was frightened that it was a burglar. He entered and was not a burglar, but a man I thought was Edgar Cayce. "No," he said, "I am not Cayce." He then told me that [900] would have to come with him. He was dressed in white. Then Mrs. Cayce and Gladys Davis came in dressed in evening dress and they urged me to slip on something and come out with them, but I told them I could not do so, because I could no longer get into my evening dresses. I had grown too fat. They urged me, but I didn't go and then they, with [900], went out with the man. (A) In this there is seen there are presented many different phases of the studies the entity had made of information which has been given through those forces or channels, as is termed by the entity through the efforts of Edgar Cayce. In the conditions as seen, while the message that is presented to the entity is apparently from that source, the closer analyses of same show that it - the information - is only presented through those channels, and not from that source as is seen that those who would persuade the entity to give in the self to go out through certain ways, means and channels, and that there is the necessity that [900] go also. This is seen and shown, that through these sources the

greater train or trend of information is given, or termed or given in a manner to be better understood. The entity's feeling of expressing self as unable to give self in this manner shows that the entity is rather in that position of better understanding such information as may be given, than would be when the mental entity and body conscious entity would or might be swayed more by outside conditions. But while under that influence of that constant spiritual development of that through which the spiritual element may manifest, the entity is nearer to that point of a perfect understanding. This may be seen exemplified or understood, if the entity will only consider that since being in this condition (physically speaking), there are more often those closer communions in sleep or rest from outside forces. Or more dreams, more visions, more actions of those elements as are termed spiritual, pass through the channels of the spiritual entity's manifestation in this material world. Hence the entity may take advantage of same - yet, as is seen, keep in that balanced way and fashion, that the more perfect understanding may come.
4. (Q) My mother was sick in bed and got up to go somewhere with others. They, including my mother, would not tell me what all the commotion was about, because they said in my pregnant condition I should not be worried or mentally disturbed. Someone, however, did tell me about it. My mother had gone to my Aunt Ada who was dying of pneumonia. Then I did wake up and it was exactly 3 A.M. (A) Again a presentation through these forces of the presence of the entity of those influences through which the entity passes in these various experiences, as has just been given. And, as is seen, the mother's influence, the mother's consciousness remains ever nearer to the entity through these periods. In the seeing of the entity arise from sick to attend to the sick, with the experiencing of the condition, this indicates only that the entity as seen may experience and may be afraid of such conditions arising, but will overcome same through the efforts of those attending or waiting on same, see? for, as the entity sees and feels and knows through the mental forces of the entity - that is, of the entity [136] - such conditions, or pneumonia, with Aunt Ada would be very severe, see? yet these may be expected to be overcome, for it will not develop fully - for they arose from the sick bed to administer to those sick, see?
5. (Q) Does this mean that my Aunt Ada will be taken with pneumonia? When?

(A) Rather as has been given, see?
6. (Q) How may I act to prevent it? To help her? (A) Warn regarding or against such conditions, see? and to be careful of these conditions under the existing influences of the body, Aunt Ada.
7. (Q) What does the time element mean - 3 A.M.? (A) That the study of same may be perfectly understood - three - that element in that psychological effect of numbers, or of conditions or things, see? as is seen - both - in that of the entering of someone that frightens the entity, or that of the entity's knowing the mother ministers to the sick.
8. (Q) Sometime ago, I beheld my mother. She was displeased with me because I was going out to theatres, etc. She said: "The least you could have done for me was to keep mourning for one year." (A) This rather is that presentation of the nearness of the mother to the entity, and of the various phases of that as has been given: "I go away, and all I have said unto you will be brought to your remembrance through the spirit of the activity of the mental being as relating to conditions," see? This is not a literal giving, but the real meaning as is given in that message of the Master to the Disciples. As is given here, and as is seen, the entity is reminded through this transition, or in this sleep or in this vision, of those conditions as related to or between the individuals during an earth period, yet the various manifestations to the entity of the various conditions as have been spoken by the mother - the appearances, the nearness, the feeling of the presence in the room, the full conditions as have been presented, are to the entity as the higher, the fuller, the greater UNDER- STANDING of the LIVING of the mother - only in material plane, see? and as is seen, the pleasures that are brought to the entity in the study of these conditions, in the feeling of the nearness of these conditions, is the gratifying element in the relations with the entities in the present condition, for continually do we see the warnings - for good, for bad - for the more perfect understanding of the relation of the living in the material plane, the living in the spiritual plane, and as to how the greater forces of the spiritual plane, through the attunement of the material plane to the spiritual plane, gain access, or ascending elements of a more perfect at-oneness of the universal forces as are magnified in the material plane, of the all-powerful force of the creative energy as is given for the understanding of the individual who would seek His Face.
9. (Q) Morning of November 24, 1926. Dreamed I was insane

- my mind gone and reason unbalanced. My mother was there and was having an awful time with me. [See 136-2 and 136-49.] (A) This is that presentation to the entity of how that the essence of the presence of the entity in the mother would keep this entity, [136], in that better understanding that prevents the mental and the material mind from becoming so distorted as to lose reason as concerning spiritual elements as are manifested in the material world. For, as is seen, the entity experiences, realizes, that there have been moments when the entity in its attempting to belittle elements as pertaining to a spiritual understanding has put its mentality as an UNBALANCED condition, through same creating barriers that have been hard to break, hard to be understood, even by self. Then rather in that way and manner as has been presented through these forces as have been given from time to time should the entity gain, through the mental study, through the body-conscious experience of those conditions in the material and in the mental plane (physically) of the relation of each, keep self mentally, morally, physically, spiritually, in that at-onement with the universal forces that give the better understanding to each and every entity.
