This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of January, 1927, in accordance with request made by her husband, Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind mind of [136] of New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [136]. This we have had here before. The dreams come to this entity in the ways and manners as have been outlined, and are for the edification and the understanding of the entity, if they will be applied in the way and manner as is seen by the development of the entity. For only to that mind that is awakened, through the phases of that portion of the entity as has been outlined, do dreams, visions, or the understanding of same, come. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Morning of December 27, 1926. Dreamed Emmie committed suicide. (A) This shows to the entity, through this correlation of mental forces of the body-mind itself and those of the body-mind of Emmie, that such conditions had passed through this mind - contemplation of such conditions, see? They have passed.
4. (Q) Is Emmie contemplating any such act as suicide? Will she carry it out? (A) They have passed.
5. (Q) How did [136] get this information about Emmie in dream? (A) Correlation of subconscious minds that contact through thought, for thoughts are deeds and may become crimes or miracles. Just as given in the introduction, as it were, here dreams are the correlation of various phases of the mentality of the individual, see? and individual meaning of that entity. Dreams are those of conditions wherein there may be taken into the body-physical that of elements that produce hallucinations, or the activity of that induced in the system in itself attempting to take on its individual force produces hallucinations, nightmares, or abortions to

the mental forces of an individual. See how the connection becomes then between the individual mind and that producing same? The same as we find, there may be conditions from the mental mind of an entity, by deep study or thought, wherein the experiences of the individual entity are correlated through the subconscious forces of the entity - the latent forces of the entity - the hidden forces of the entity - and correlating same in a vision or dream. Often these are as symbolic conditions, each representing a various phase to the mental development of the entity. Others there are, a correlation between mentalities or subconscious entities, wherein there has been attained, physically or mentally, a correlation of individual ideas or mental expressions that bring from one subconscious to another those of actual existent conditions, either direct or indirect, to be acted upon or that are ever present, see? Hence we find visions of the past, visions of the present, visions of the future. For to the subconscious there is no past or future - all present. This would be well to remember in much of the information as may be given through such forces as these.
6. (Q) Night of December 28, or morning of 29, 1926. I was in India and many streams seemed to run into the one pool. I jumped in one and swam and said to [900]: "See, you said it would hurt me to do this - harm my pregnant condition, but it has not at all." (A) Again we find a different phase of conditions presented through the mentality of the individual regarding conditions in which the body might indulge, and questioning conditions arise in the minds of others as to whether the entity should or should not indulge. And, as is seen, India represents to the mentality of the entity a state of condition. Water represents another element of beginning or sources of all force. The entering into that of all source of force brings to the entity the knowledge of safety, see? Then, the lesson as may be gained may be more than twofold - that is, that the presented conditions are that, when the entity is at an at-oneness with the source of force, the entity's actions with same are nearer in keeping with the universal forces, see? Hence conditions so applied in purpose, in intent, and in the full knowledge of the at-oneness of force brings to this entity, to other entities, that security in the all-powerful forces of universal expression or universal manifestation in

the material plane. Hence many conditions are detrimental to an entity because the entity thinks they will be, or has been told they will be, see? while in self, if known that they will not be - will not be, see? Referring to every element wherein the entity may take thought, whether as to trip, or whether as to any conditions in which the entity would indulge - that is, would the entity be in whole at-oness with the divine purposes as would be set forth by the conditions as are existent in every element, these would not be detrimental - but rather beneficial, see? This does not indicate that one may attempt to defeat any of the natural LAWS as are set forth, for compliance with the law is to become the law - not at varience with the law!
7. (Q) Would the train and boat ride from New York to Norfolk and back to New York again be in any way detrimental to the pregnant condition? (A) No.
8. (Q) Should the trip be made at this time by [136] or should she better not take the risk? (A) This is within her OWN mental forces, see? Act according to the dictates of the own innate forces, for these have grown very close to universal forces in many conditions and elements.
9. (Q) Dreamed about the hospital being planned for Virginia Beach (forget details). (A) This is another condition or another phase of the mental development of dream, vision, of that wherein the mental forces of the entity show that there are those conditions being brought about wherein in many may gain access to the knowledge that is being attained by self and by others - and, as is seen, not wholly discernable, as is seen in the mental - not understood just how this may come about - yet, as the entity experiences, it is coming - whether it sees at present or not - it's coming!
10. (Q) Afternoon of Friday, January 7, 1927. Dreamed that [900] would interest somebody in the Cayce Hospital and work. (A) This, as is seen, becomes more definite towards these same elements and conditions. There are many that the entity will interest in the hospital, and as to who, or as to individuals - it is rather as to how the entity ITSELF APPLIES its own individual knowledge towards that assistance or towards that at-oneness with this same universal application. This may be, as is seen, those first who have received direct information beneficial to individual members of the family, such as is seen in [4181], [[4309]'s father],

11. (Q) How should [900] act to best advantage of the proposed hospital in relation to these parties? (A) Set first the basis upon which such may be propagated. Hold to that ideal, building upon same.
