1. [900]: Now you will have before you the bodies [136] and [900], present in this room. In the first, [136], in many dreams her mother has appeared to her with warnings and much information. I will read these dreams regarding that which the mother has given, and you will interpret same, giving her that advice and counsel needed by her for better development.
2. EC: We have the body here, and many of those impressions or various phases of consciousness as have been experienced, and are experienced, and through this channel we may give that interpretation, that the body may apply that as has been gained through these experiences in the life of the body. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) That of August 29th or 30th. Both my mother [139] and father appeared to me, and were so glad to see me. They told me about [3816] my sister, that she committed suicide, or killed herself. (A) This is the manner presents to the entity, or to the body - consciousness, the mother and father giving to this body the understanding of the working, as it were, of the mind of the sister, and the inept way, or the inability of that body to give that correct application to the conditions in the life that satisfies same. And - as is seen - the bodies (the ethereal body or astral body) depend upon the physical body here, [136], to so instruct, to so direct, to so counsel the body - [3816] the sister - in the way and manner that the better understanding, and that the growth in the spiritual sense, may come to the body, rather than those of the nature that bring deterioration to the development of the body, see? for these conditions are held in the mind. Remembering, then, thoughts are deeds in the spiritual sense, for they make or mar the actions of inner being.
4. (Q) Morning of August 25th, regarding my mother [139] and her pointing out a crowd to me, about Sidney [...] who lay dying. He was in the last stage of the process. I saw

his eyes glazed. My mother seemed to call attention to this. Then in a final effort he tried to get up. Those about him would not permit. My mother showed me that of course they would not. Then he dropped back and died. I cried, at which my mother instructed me not to cry. (A) In this emblematical way and manner we find there are lessons being given to this body through the efforts of the mother or the guardian forces for this body, those lessons as pertain to the various phases of development in life. In this particular individual as seen, and as understood by the mother, this entity represents a definite condition in the physical affairs, or in certain social positions and standings. In the death there is seen this representing that in the meeting of same all become of one level. And in the attempt at such period there is naught that may be done to change those conditions which surround an individual life. And then the lesson being - that the will in man, or woman, is that factor that is to be used for the betterment of the development in and through this material plane. While there may be the positions, those conditions that are of the flesh or of the earth-earthy that satisfy for the time being; yet these do not answer. Neither do they give that better understanding, nor that peace that comes with the life WELL lived and in service to others. In the lessons then as gained, apply same in self's own life. Not as that which would cause dissension, discussion, or any condition that would bring adverse criticism to self. Neither put on the long face nor think that there is aught but the dream of the future. Life is real, life is earnest! yet it is not all of life to live, nor all of death to die - for with the thoughts and the deeds done in the mind and the body, these are that builded by the entity, or body, and must be met, and an account given of those things rendered in the body and the mind. For the soul liveth, and is a portion of the Creative Energy, and it returns to the Whole, yet reserving in itself the oneness in the ability to know itself individual, yet a portion of the Whole. What manner of man would one be that would make of that Whole its own concept, other than one with the Whole?
5. (Q) That of recent date regarding my pregnancy, and in relation to that I saw of Felice [...]. (A) In this there is seen - through the action of the subconscious forces of the body - those conditions that may bring about that of the creative energy within the body to bring within the forces of self's own body that ability of
136-70 Page 3
concepts and conception, and - as is seen by that conversation, and by that association with another that is to be in this state - there is seen the entity or the body (self) may so direct same as to bring that desired for the body, see?
6. (Q) That is, Felice [...] is soon to be pregnant? Not that [136] is at the present time? (A) That Felice [...] soon is to be pregnant, that [136] MAY BE if she so desires - not at present.
7. (Q) Advise and counsel on this point. (A) In those conditions seen surrounding the body seen in this condition, much study for self may be gained by studying those surroundings which have brought, and which will ensue in that condition which is to exist with that body. The entity, or the body-self, then, may study as to how those lessons or those truths concerning pregnancy may be applied in the material plane. Let that preparation ever be made for such conditions, as that the gift to the body may be of the Lord. Not so in the case as is seen.
8. (Q) Regarding the dreams I have had of my baby, [142] falling - (A) Again and again here we find the warning has been given to the body as pertaining to the care and attention that is to be given respecting the baby. Not that the condition has happened. Not that the condition is to happen, would there be that attention, or that care, or that exercising of the knowledge that such MAY happen. Being forewarned, be forearmed, and exhort in no uncertain way and manner those who have same in care, and in the handling of same by self, that no such conditions arise. For, as has been seen, he has his life to live in the direction that is to bring much to the body. Then let not those conditions arise wherein there is to be self-censure for not attending, or not caring, or not warning - as is seen - pertaining to this body, see? These come from the mother. Remembering the care as was given by the mother as respecting the individual child as its life was begun. Have the care, then, as was given thee.
9. (Q) The child [142] being precocious and advanced physically, may so hurt itself? (A) May so hurt itself, by the care not being given when such is known as respecting its PHYSICAL abilities at its present age - for, as is seen, unusual abilities, physical and mental, attend the child. Then let these be as those for the greater development, and not as retarding condition for the body.

10. (Q) Turning then to another phase of the study of this child, [142] in a vision it was given to me that for which this entity has to return for better development was that in its manifestation as Hamilton it never really grew up, which is in line with my own illustration, as child of the flesh, or child of the spirit, or earthly birth and re-born spiritual birth. (A) This, as is seen, is greater portion of existent conditions respecting the individual, or the karmic influence of this child or entity, and - as is seen - the child in the present condition is under the care, the guidance and the protection of those that would enable it to develop to its fullest in the present plane. Hence we find, being forewarned as to physical conditions, being forewarned or receiving that concept of conditions pertaining to the physical and the spiritual development of same, let those elements be applied in the present conditions and in the development of the mind and the body, that these may be overcome in the present experience.
11. (Q) Now I turn to a continuation of that given [900] yesterday regarding the vision this morning, in which he beheld Elbert Gary explaining to him why these conditions happened. (A) In the various phases of that presented, we find the entity not only gives to the material entity, or to [900], that MANNER in which the variations in discrimination are made, but HOW discrimination may be ACCEPTABLE, as it were, in the study of that presented. For, as is seen, that which is set in motion by that presented is as a factor in that which is returned or taken again into the mind for the consideration or development to those points that are to be considered, see? or to illustrate here: In that given we find that it is given, not all in the positions, not all in the abilities to understand men that made the entity worthy of the position held, but the application of each in its proper place and sphere. And as is presented in that seen in this morning's vision, there is the inability of self to be rid of self's own undoing, save by undoing same in self. See?
12. (Q) Yet these very paths or applications that one makes, socially, financially, in all phases, lead one right over that rock that [900] saw, or in a path strewn with that which to [900] is vomit. (A) This, then, is as that given. These elements that are presented that are not commands are as prophecies in the life of the entity. Will the entity allow that that may be used, even as the prophets of old, to become vomit or dung

under the heel of him that would serve? Let thine self rise to that understanding that in these little things there is being presented to self not ONLY the bigness of life, yet again the abilities to so direct the lives of others in the financial, in the social, in religious way and manner, that through these sources the entity may serve more. Think not that the position exalts the man. The man may exalt or belittle that position and truths given. Even as the Son of man, tempted by the little things, yet using that as was thrown as dross to become the head of the house.
13. (Q) Yet when in relation to those who cannot understand, who rather take [900] as a bore than as one expressing a larger concept of life - (A) Then only give that as given thee, and let others think for themselves, and they will return to thee for counsel and advice. Give that to others as is received, and not that as is conceived by self, for was that illustration as given that the Master said: "Saw I not thee under the fig tree yesterday?" That in itself brought the enquiring mind to the feet of the Master. While had it been given at the same time that "I must be offered up that ye may have life more abundant," would this have been understood? yet "I saw thee under the fig tree," was in terms of the own concept, and so in self give that received, and not that CONCEIVED at first, until the questions comes, whose master do thou serve?
14. We are through for the present.
