1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will give the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for same.
2. EC: Now we have in this body some conditions that are abnormal that may be corrected. We have some conditions that to the body have become normal. Now the conditions that may be corrected, the correction and the manner in which they are to be corrected, the manner of living, the manner of exertion, the kind of exertion, the kind of expended energy, the strain under which the energy is expended and the character and nature of conditions must all be taken into consideration, for the time, the manner, the way, the mode, in which the correction would be made and under what circumstances and conditions applied to same.
3. The abnormal conditions that may be corrected have most to do with the rebuilding forces in the body, the condition of certain portions of the functioning system and the effect this produces in the body in it's rebuilding forces in the body.
4. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [137] we are speaking of. First:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this deficient and below normal in the rebuilding forces, especially in the red blood cell force and in the plasmatic cell units as produce, and as rebuild, tissue in the body. A system tending toward a form of anemia. One well adapted to the conditions when the system, as a whole, is taken into consideration, for the body has adjusted itself in the white blood supply that the system is able to stand much strain, yet gradually is the condition undermining the whole blood structure, and therefore it is necessary that the elements be added in the system as to produce that necessary to rebuild in the body, for we find there is exceptional reaction in the system, for there are portions of the body that have their strain on the system in a normal manner, considering conditions existing.

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, body very good in many ways, yet taxing the nerve system sometimes almost beyond its endurance. Hence the times when the body feels the most buoyant their reaction is the detrimental effect to the nerve system, for with the condition in the body, where the blood supply is deficient, the nerve centers supplying the necessary energy as should be stored in the system, the replenished conditions we find are gradually being weakened. Hence we find there are times when these centers, especially in the cerebrospinal system, feel this depression, those in the 2nd lumbar, in the 5th and 6th dorsal. The reaction to these in the functioning system is a strain across the body at the upper portion of hips, a fullness through the lungs and an easy way the body is susceptible to cold and congestion. Phlegm rises in throat, nostrils seem full, dilated. These are the outward manifestations of the condition going on in the body. The sympathetic system in accord with conditions in the body, and with the mental activities of body, often carries the strain of the whole system.
7. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces very good, exceptionally well balanced for the work in which the body is engaged, yet the body should not overtax its mental forces beyond the physical reaction in the body; that is, do not tax the mental mind beyond the abilities of the physical body to supply rebuilding forces necessary to prevent mental and physical deterioration.
8. In the whole functioning system the body is very good, save in those defects that have become, and are, normal to this individual entity.
9. Then to give the system the necessary incentives, that it may rebuild and function the more normal, we would take these properties in the system to add to the body, and take specific exercises (other than that taken), and those vibrations necessary to renew the energy in the system. These properties: Valerian (tincture of)...........3 ounces, Elixir Calisaya..................2 ounces, Syrup Sarsaparilla.............1/2 ounce, Elixir Celerena..................2 ounces, Capsici..........................3 minims, Iodide Potassium................30 grains, Bromide Potassium...............30 grains.
10. Mix well together, adding simple syrup sufficient to make 12 ounces.
11. The dose would be teaspoonful once each day. Shake

solution well before taking. This should be taken when the body retires.
12. Of mornings the body should rise early. First take the full setting-up exercises of the body, upper and lower, circling the body from hips up, bending from hips, stooping from hips, circling arms, head and neck. Then be rubbed down well over spine with very cold cloth (wet) and then rubbed until the body glows from the blood and circulation being brought to these portions. Do this each morning.
13. Give the diet. Be regular in its meals. Never heavy meals at any time. Much cereal and whole wheat, oats and such rough food. Not too much highly spiced or seasoned food, save with Cayenne peppers, meats, preferably fish and fowl.
14. The vibration of violet ray should be accorded the whole system, especially over feet and the lower limbs, along the sciatic nerves and across the sacral and in the plexus of the cervical and upper dorsal. Not so much in solar plexus region. Do this each evening. In five to six weeks we will find the body more active mentally and physically, and better fitted for physical activities.
15. The body spiritually we find very good. With better inclinations than are often carried out, though exceptional in this manner, above most people.
16. In its labors the body is specially fitted for the work as a member of such labors as it does, when kept physically fit. Otherwise, there may be, as there has been in some instances in the past, when it would lose its head, as would be termed in these circles.
17. As for the financial forces, these, when the physical and mental are properly adjusted, would care for themselves.
