1. GC: You will have before you the body of [137], on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Wall & New Streets, New York City, N. Y. You will give a complete physical diagnosis of this body, telling what is now being done that should not be done in treatments accorded the body, in diet, or any other destructive condition, and also tell me what may be done that is not being done to bring this body to a healthier condition. You will answer any questions regarding this.

2. EC: Now the body is feeling some little better this morning than it has been in the last few days, yet there are some disturbances still with the head, the eyes, and an uneasy feeling through the upper portion of the stomach, or lower portion of the lungs and diaphragm.

3. Now, as to the general conditions in this body, these we find somewhat better than when we had them before. While the distress in the body is of that nature that causes uneasiness in the mental, and in the physical conditions of the body, the general condition is better.

4. These present conditions we find from two distinct causes, and affected through a third condition. First, a reaction through the eliminations in the system, and the blood supply being unequalized, coming nearer to the equalization, brings pressure on centers, disturbing the equilibrium in the body. Hence the dull, groggy, achey, feeling comes to the body at times, especially when the body relaxes from physical labors, and when body overtaxes itself through mental forces after being given the osteopathic vibrations. Second, the diet also is unequalized. Hence the condition of anemia, that constitutional condition of the body, finds expression in the assimilations at such reaction. Hence the osteopathic manipulation should be to those centers more that produce the stimulation to assimilation in the body: that is, the liver, the spleen, the region of the Peyers' Glands, the whole intestinal system.

5. And the mild form of stimulants would also be well for the body, were they taken in moderation, just after, or while eating.

6. The diet's change would be more of the green vegetable nature, and more of juices (not meats but juices) of good clean beef, or beef, iron and wine. Wyeth's would be good, taken in half quantity as prescribed. Also let the diet be much fruit, especially pears, well masticated, so that they will not be hard of digestion. These would be well to be taken between meals.

7. The other condition affecting the whole of these we find the mental conditions that arise, outside of either physical or spiritual, rather pertaining to the material things of life. Well that the body, through its mental forces, through its ability to claim the resourcefulness of the subconscious, draw on that source for its equilibrium under such conditions.

8. Follow well in this path, and we will find the body will be in the normal physical condition, with abilities to function properly through physical, mental and spiritual forces of this body, [137].

9. (Q) What is causing the sleepy and groggy feeling in this body, and what must be done to correct it? (A) This, as we see, has been given.

10. (Q) Is the osteopathic manipulation being given the body of the correct nature? Are the electrical treatments beneficial? (A) Electrical treatments are beneficial, and should be kept for the body. The osteopathic treatments should be changed to those conditions, especially, as have been outlined. The manner in which they are given is very good. More stimulation to the assimilating centers of the digestive system, as has been outlined for this body.
