1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [137], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [137]. This we have had here before. The dreams, as we see, may be used in the way and manner as have been given, for in vision there is given the correlation of the mental mind with the subconscious forces of the entity, and as the conscious mind only reasons by comparison, and the subconscious by inductive reasoning, then the correlation of these are presented in the manner that is often emblematical, often in a way of direct comparison, that entity may gain, through same, necessary lessons for development of mental proclivities of the entity. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) Saturday night, Jan. 30, or Sunday morning, Jan. 31, 1926. Saw Fleischman around 54 and some dealings with Thompson and McKinon. (A) This, as we see, the attempt of the subconscious to reason with the physical mental forces, and the projection of individuals into same whom are considered active or inactive, as the case may be, presenting then to the entity that lesson that, for the betterment of self, study such conditions.
4. (Q) Arthur De Cordova asked me if [5768] was away, to which I replied in affirmative. He then said: "Well, then you are going to make some money." I jumped to the conclusion he meant Fleischman but he corrected me by telling me that Ajax Rubber stock ought to go up because of the commodity Rubber going up. Also some reference in this respect to Fisk Tire bonds. De Cordova and I looked at the Ajax specialist book (which I have on the floor) but I was not favorable to buying any Ajax rubber stock, so we did nothing. (A) Then, as seen, this the continuation of that as given, that the entity, physically, should study these conditions,

in the physical, mental, way and manner as pertains to these individual stocks, see? that the use of such conditions, as would be determined BY the study of same, may be used by the entity.
5. (Q) What is indicated I should do in regard to Ajax Rubber? When? (A) Study, study, study, study! Not any indication of buying, or selling either.
6. (Q) "Heard Leo Meinhard talking in our apartment but upon awakening found he hadn't even been in to see us. This was very clear and so real I actually thought it occurred even hours after awakening!" (A) Some condition as regarding this entity as seen, or heard, that will be presented to the entity for consideration. This, as we see, is the meeting of the two subconscious forces of the two entities, and the presence of the one felt by the stronger personality. Again, well that the entity study this phenomena, for with this understanding, many more conditions may be made beneficial, by a knowledge of same.
7. (Q) Evening of Sunday, Jan. 31. Saw experiences I am reading in the book AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY. (A) This, again, correlating in the manner as given that condition as is given, and for the study of the mental forces of entity, as to how that the subconscious, or that consciousness that is caring for, impelling all the functioning of the organs of the body in their normal manner, in a physical unconscious condition; yet awakening in the consciousness actual conditions, as if they were happening before the conscious, mental mind, see? and the study of these conditions for the entity will bring the better understanding of MANY phenomenized forces as are manifested in the physical world, and may be made beneficial to this entity, [137].
8. (Q) Sunday night, Jan. 31, or Monday morning, Feb. 1. Arthur Lipper & Co. & Wm. E. Lauer & Co. were buying Ajax Rubber Stock. I then bought 2000 shares up to price of 11 1/2 for myself. Then I can't recall whether the stock went up from 11 1/2 or down from there. Puzzled, I spoke to Sidney Wormser about the buying of Ajax. It seemed that Lauer & Lipper were both buying the stock for the same man. The man appeared to be Samuel J. Reckford. (A) This, again these same conditions as have been described, being presented to the entity for the study of same, for, as is seen in this, there is given a way, a manner, as HOW entity may study conditions regarding this particular stock. As the entity holds in the physical

manner the abilities, the conditions as would be concerning the buying of this particular stock by individual seen, and that it would mean to the price in the quantities of same, should be considered, see? Not that entity should buy, up or down from 11 1/2, but study. Then, when the entity has reached its OWN conclusion concerning same, act in same.
9. (Q) Will Lauer & Lipper be buying Ajax rubber stock? When? (A) That isn't given from here. Use this as we have given it, if entity would make the most for self. Were they buying it, what would it mean as to the quantities? and for who this was being bought, whether it be buying for one, or were two such concerns buying, what would be the natural consequences and outcome? Study from own self.
10. (Q) Thursday night, Jan. 21, or Friday morning, Jan. 22. I was in an insane asylum and my father was there too. My father seemed to be the patient and I was very worried about him. There also seemed to be some of [136]'s family near me. I suggested having Dr. Eldsberg or Dr. Evan Evans for my father. I was terribly frightened when I awakened. (A) In this there is seen, as given, how the subconscious forces reason with the mental condition of the physical body, and as is seen, when such conditions are reasoned from the physical viewpoint, these bring these fears, these doubts, see? Then, how much better would the entity gain for self the physical study of subconscious conditions that bring physical actions, by the correlation of physical and subconscious conditions to the self, and be able to meet the needs as is felt that may be brought to the entity by the skill, the knowledge, of those who have studied into certain physical conditions. Reverse the condition, then, for self, and as seen, the father in that plane wherein only the subconscious may reach. Self then is to be studied, see?
11. (Q) Just what does this indicate I should do as related to [136]'s family and doctors? (A) Study self. Study self. Study that condition of the subconscious, wherein the entity may gain the better knowledge for self, physically, mentally, morally, financially, socially, and above all, the relation to that Creative Force as may be awakened from within, that gives the more perfect understanding of why, how, wherefore, the entity manifests, physically, mentally, or what not, in the earth's plane.
12. (Q) Wednesday night, Jan. 20, or Thursday morning, Jan. 21, 1926. I wanted a large cup of coffee, but I was given a demitasse (a small cup). (A) Necessary, then, that the physical conditions of the body, as is seen, that the subconscious reasons the more

perfect for the condition of the entity, that not too heavy, not too much stimulation in this character of caffeine for the body be taken therein. [Immediately following 137-60 EC told Mr. [551], in 551-9, that his associations with Mr. [137] and Mr. [900] were not working out so well, that "these have become self-sufficient unto themselves, and are not in the way of helping further." Mr. [551] was told to turn to Mr. [257] for help in attaining business success, etc.]
