1. GC: You will have before you the body of [140], ... 69th Street, ... New York City, N. Y. You will give us a complete physical diagnosis of this body, as she is at the present time, and also tell us the cause of the severe headaches the body has following osteopathic treatments, and also the cause of her arm not improving. What may be done to better or assist these conditions? What is now being done that should not be done, and what treatment is being left out that should be accorded? You will give the cause and cures for any abnormal conditions in the body, including head and arm. You will answer questions regarding this:

2. EC: Now we find the conditions are much improved for a perfect normal functioning of the physical forces in the body. While we do not find all the conditions grown to the normal condition, yet with the vibrations as being accorded, both through medicinal properties and through the manipulation, we find there is the retraction, as is necessary for the body to become normal in its condition.

3. While we have distress through the nerve centers to the head, when the vibrations of the manipulation are accorded, this is at present the effect of retraction in centers governing elimination, and produce exaggerated conditions in the nerve plexuses of the upper dorsal and lower cervical region.

4. The condition in right arm does not show as much improvement as in other portions of the body, for the reason the eliminations have not reached that stage where pressure is removed from the brachial centers that cause the muscular contraction in the locomotaries of the arm proper.

5. The medicinal properties in their present state, with the diet as is accorded the system, do not always function sufficient to keep eliminations going, or directed properly in body. Hence we have, with the muscular contraction through osteopathic forces, the retraction coming unduly to the centers. We would in medicinal properties leave off those as have been accorded the system, and in its place take these properties, taking this every second day:

To one-half glass of water, add: Plain Phosphate...................1/2 teaspoonful, Syrup of Sarsaparilla...............9 minims, or drops, and every fifth dose add one drop Rectified Oil of Turp. Keep this elimination at least for two weeks, keeping up the medicinal properties as given here, and the vibration of the osteopathic forces, that we may relieve and bring normal functioning of the organs in this body.

6. Let the diet be those properties as were first outlined for the system, using much vegetable matter; that is, uncooked. Do this consistently, persistently, drinking a great deal of water, and we will find the body will respond, through the physical forces, to these conditions.

7. Do that.

8. (Q) Will complete use of the arm be restored? (A) In time, yes. The contraction in muscular forces, the over development of muscular tissue in portions, and the lack of development in others, as at present, prevent the normal use. This, we see, will gradually, under the conditions as outlined, retract and grow to normal use and development. The body of necessity must understand there must be the retraction, and through retraction the physical forces will find inconvenience and distress, yet this must come, would we have normality in the functioning of this portion of the body. Other conditions through the general system also must be kept in accord as these corrections are being made, that eliminations from distressed portions may not produce distress in other portions of body.

9. (Q) Are osteopathic treatments now being given correctly? How may they be improved or corrected to meet conditions in this body? (A) Osteopathic treatments are being given very good, and will eventually meet the needs of this body. We would not change those, save as the operator finds the necessity for change in the retraction, and in creating elimination and assimilation. The change in medicinal properties we will find will prevent so much distress to the centers producing dullness and headaches, for the overtaxing of the system will be greatly reduced with this change. This reaches brain centers principally, through hypogastric and pneumogastric plexuses.

10. (Q) Is the body's diet correct? (A) As outlined, correct.

11. (Q) How may she improve herself mentally and spiritually, so as to assist her physical condition? (A) Keeping ever in that manner and way, knowing that through faith are ye healed, and not of self, but the correction of the physical forces as pertain to the body, and in the compliance with divine law the correction, the proper conditions, come as the gift of the Creator.

12. (Q) Is there anything in her diet, or anything or condition about which she should be warned, pertaining, of course, to her physical? (A) None other than as given.
