1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind of [140]. This we have had here before. The dreams presented to the entity in this period are many. These as seen or brought to the consciousness present some various conditions in the life of self and of others. Some are presented in an emblematical manner, as is seen. Others are physical conditions that have been turned in the mind, weighed in the mental body-mind, and now, being acted upon through the action of the subconscious force, present to the entity visions or conditions that are as warnings for self, for others. And these are seen not wholly in the manner presented, yet in a manner that may be made beneficial, when studied in the proper way and manner. [EC continuing, without waiting for dreams to be read:]*
* [3/6-7/26 (1) Saw woman's rubbers - overshoes. (2) Mr. S. was in a hospital and I, Dorothy S., and her husband, William, were nursing him. I asked what the trouble was and was told "cancer of the throat." That seemed strange to me as Mrs. S. had always been the sufferer it seemed to me. They were treating Mr. S. with radium and he let out terrible groans of pain. It didn't bother any of us in the room but me. They were able to foretell when the treatment accorded Mr. S. would hurt him and they in turn told me. I then turned around so I would not see and held my ears so that I could not hear. (Q) Does this mean Mr. S. will suffer with throat trouble? What reference to me and what may or should I do?]
2. As is seen regarding those wearing overshoes, these show to the entity that condition that has been questioned within self, and a WARNING as given by others regarding SELF and others close to entity, and is rather as the warning that should be heeded, for self and for others, under the existent conditions, than as a lesson in other ways or manners.

3. While, as we see, that in which a friend is suffering from those conditions that become apparent in the life of one close to that entity, and the character of the dreaded condition is understood, and there is weighed within self HOW same APPLIES to the individual, and the manner of its attack on same, and the others attempting to shield entity from those conditions as bring the detrimentaI effect mentally to the entity. This is as a warning, not as of a disease in an individual, not as a warning of disease within self, other than as this:
4. When there is counsel and advice given the entity, for the physical welfare of the physical body, heed in the way and manner that will BRING the PHYSICAL RESULTS, rather than - "Oh, well - it don't make any difference. I'll do part of it, and part of it I won't!" We are through. [See her 140-12 Physical Ck. Rdg.]
