Time of Reading 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before.
2. Now, we find there are those conditions as cause distress in the physical functioning of the body, and in meeting the needs of these conditions at the present time much of the conditions as have existed in the body through the various stages of changes as take place, and have taken place, in the functioning of this body, must be considered.
3. While the existent troublesome conditions are of a specific nature, and are accentuations in the physical functioning, causing then distress that apparently is of a local nature; yet in the fact that the changes take place in the local obstructions and local conditions that become involved in the physical condition, shows that this is of a deeper seated nature than of a local nature.
4. While the effect then to the throat, bronchials, the cavities in the soft structural portions of head and face, shows that the condition as is exhibited by the slowing up of the circulation, and especially that of the elimination as is exercised by the liver, shows the main seat, cause or disturbance as exists in the body at present.
5. While true that local re-infection occurs in the face, head and throat; yet this is produced by the streptococci that brings this disturbance from that center through which destructive forces for that portion of system are acted in, on and through, so - with the stimulation of the condition that exists where obstructions occur there - the temperature and the condition that carries re-infection may be easily dealt with; provided the proper character of condition is used as the antiseptic for local conditions in the body - see?
6. Now, to meet the needs of conditions at present: First there should be an exceeding stimulation of the centers that govern the whole of the hepatic circulation, especially those from the 6th dorsal center and the area of the liver.

Peculiar to those that would find that we would use local applications to the liver for troubles in head, ear and throat; yet THESE will reduce conditions.
7. Use, then, hot packs of Castor Oil over the liver area, see? first. With stimulation in the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th dorsal area osteopathically, see? applying the light rays to the cervical and dorsal region, using as an antiseptic that inhalant - either as a spray or as fumes from same, heated - or possibly both - for throat, for ear, and for the nasal cavities. Do that. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) What inhalant should be used? (A) That of the Eucalyptol, Benzosol, Tincture Benzoin, Fluid Extract or Tincture Tolu in solution, and Rectified Oil of Turp with sufficient of the alcohol to keep properly in solution - when this is used as spray or as vapor from heating.
9. (Q) Is there any sign of what is called diphtheria? (A) The nature or the character of the condition existent in throat, and with temperature and condition as produced by same in blood, it may be termed or called diphtheria, but for the variation in the germ as is known as the diphtheria germ and that plasm as is exhibited here - there are two differences in their nature. Principally, one is of the three-forked or three-plasm cell; the other only of the screw with a one-plasm cell, see?
10. (Q) Will those who are now in charge of the body find it to be the ordinary diphtheria and treat it with antitoxin? (A) As to what this, that or the other would do, WE have no command. We give that condition existent. The character of the condition and plasm will show for itself. Ask and look for that.
11. We are through.
