1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Many are the changes in the physical forces, both as to developments and as to the physical reactions as concurrent and occurrent in the developing body.

2. Those specifics and those accentuations as exist in the present distresses are produced from cold, congestion, and the inability of the developing system to create sufficient of the leukocyte in system to combat successfully with the congestion. Hence the tendency for the blood to appear anemic or low in resistive vitality, though the body is some easier than appeared in other parts of this experience.

3. We would, without creating any undue balance in the system, establish a higher elimination, especially through the lower hepatic circulation. This, as we find, may be better established with consistent use of that as found in Castoria and Glyco-Thymoline than with most other properties. For these carry the correct properties for establishment of an equilibrium in the digestive and eliminating system, without severity to tissue - that is naturally under the reaction of the condition produced in mucus membranes. However, with these there should be precaution used as in reference to balance in system. Begin, then, with the small doses - given every half an hour apart, until there are at least three good operations from the system through eliminations as would be established. Give about half a teaspoonful, or a teaspoonful, of the Castoria, until such eliminations are established. Then begin with Glyco-Thymoline and give every four hours three to five drops in water, until there have been at least five to six doses taken.

4. Also it is well that during the fourth or near the fifth dose [of Glyco-Thymoline] that small quantities of Sweet Spirits of Nitre be given - a few drops in water, or combined with Juniper and other properties (glycerine) that will aid materially in reduction of the condition produced

in the lower hepatic circulation, yet establishing more activity through the glands of the kidneys and lower hepatics, that there may not be any great strain on the organs of the lower pelvis.

5. Well, too, in the first - as long as body is kept close within - that properties in Calcidin be given, either in liquid or tablet (one grain) be given, or it may be divided in half of a tablet of one grain and given every TWO hours apart until there is easy breathing through the respiratory system.

6. Well that sweet oil or alcohol [grain alchohol] be used to rub along the spine, should the temperature continue to give distress.

7. The diet should consist principally of the easily digested foods. Dry milk, orange juice, prune juice and such, that the body may gain strength and vitality through that assimilated.

8. We are through for the present.
