Time of Reading 3:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Pa. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [146] - this we have had before.

2. (Q) What physical improvements have been made since last reading? (A) The general physical conditions of the body show improvements throughout. While there has seemingly been rather a turn, or tendency for the body not to respond in WORDS as much as at other periods, this is rather from the tendency to respond to old inclinations, and UNDER - or when environmental forces are changed, and with the applications as will be given, these - we will find - will make even more improvement. In the matter of posture, this shows improvement. In the matter of coordination, this also shows improvements. There is a better tendency, also, for the activities of the mental body and the physical body to coordinate, as will be seen by the giving of definite tasks for the body to accomplish that require reasoning in a consecutive order or manner. A tendency for a regular activity. THESE are the matter of physical improvements as we find in the body.

3. (Q) What mental improvements have been made in this period? (A) A better coordination with the physical!

4. (Q) Is he more alert than he was three months ago? (A) More alert, except at sullen periods.

5. (Q) Is reflex action improved in this period? (A) Not as fast as it has in some others, but faster - or more than it has in some times BEFORE this.

6. (Q) Have osteopathic treatments been given correctly, and with sympathy and faith? (A) These have been given rather with wonderment, but they have been given very well - and with the proper precautions as to the activities of the physical and mental body. There SHOULD be, with the giving of these, more of the tendency to get an oral response to the various applications to the body functioning - see? that is, as the treatments or the administrations are made in various portions of the body,

get the responses FROM the body, [146], as to what, how, where the responses are in the system. This may be done!

7. (Q) How often should they be given? (A) At least twice each week.

8. (Q) Specify centers where manipulations will bring best results. (A) In the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical, in the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and in the 4th lumbar areas.

9. (Q) Is it necessary or best to continue Mayblossom Bitters? If so, what dosage? (A) Would be better to continue at given or specific periods. We would give three doses of a half a teaspoonful each, each day for five days - then rest two days - then give it again for five days, see? Preferably give this AFTER the meals.

10. (Q) Has he made the improvements in this period that were expected in [Par.] 6-A of last reading? (A) Not altogether, but the responses are VERY SURE.

11. (Q) Why wasn't there the improvement as expected? (A) Why are some days cloudy and some days sunny? These are the activities, or the responses as the body makes to the various conditions as they come and go. Be not over anxious. Be VERY sure, with patience and with fortitude necessary to meet all conditions.

12. (Q) Is he ready for public school? (A) In the half season, we would say, he would be. Not in the beginning of same. Best that he remain in this same environ [Rosehill School, Chester Heights, Pa.] for at least the next three to four months.

13. (Q) Is he any nearer saying new words than at last reading? (A) To be sure!

14. (Q) Is there anything else we can do to get him to talk? (A) Follow the lines as have been suggested from time to time, and as suggested here - the best response may be had NOW, under the changes being made, from the one making or applying the manipulations [Dr. Elisha T. Kirk, D.O.]. Then we will find a better or more ready response in change of environs.

15. (Q) Would it be best for him to be at Rosehill School during the next period or at home? (A) As has been given. This change in the suggestion would be, from the necessity of the MENTAL coordination, the necessity of the applications made physically to be cooperative with the application of the [osteopathic] manipulations, and COORDINATION of physical conditions in body.

16. (Q) Are his teeth alright? (A) Some show that impaction, imbedding, needs to be

attended to.

17. (Q) Would a hypnotist be able to hypnotize [146]? (A) Would be able. Would not be well under the EXISTENT conditions.

18. (Q) How long before he should have another check reading? (A) In sixty to ninety days.

19. (Q) What other suggestions do you have for the betterment of this body? (A) These we would do, as have been outlined.

20. That is all the questions regarding this body.
