1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal conditions we find in this body here have to more with the nervous forces in the body and with the sensory organism than with any other portions of the body. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body.
2. First, through the blood or circulation, we find the blood itself impoverished through strain of nerve forces calling on the forces in the building themselves for certain rebuilding tissue needed to supply for the strain the body undergoes in attempting to produce certain effects in the system. So that we find about these centers where the conditions affect the physical, that is in the 5th, 3rd and 2nd, cervical vertebra, the thickening of the walls of the ganglia at these places.
3. The beginning of the trouble we find was the inability of the system to carry from the auditory nerve centers in the head those properties used in hearing in this body. The action of the auditory forces on the nerves of the ear, this till the drum of the ear thickened by lack of used forces being carried away from the system or from those parts affected. Hence, we have a condition not of any functioning part of the ear itself being affected, that is the body should hear from all outward appearances, yet the actions of sound to the auditory nerves are deadened by the thickened wall of the drum of the ear itself, so there is no reaction or sound vibration in answer to that produced in the system. The blood not being able to carry this away leaves this thickened condition in this portion of the body. They show their effect in the ear and in the body along the seat of the supplying forces to the sensory system, especially those to the ear.
4. While it makes the impaired condition of all of the sensory system, this can be removed by the application of the proper vibration to reproduce in the same vibration needed to produce auditory sound in this system. We would supply this to the body: [Wet Cell Appliance]
147-1 Page 2
We take a stone jar, 2 gallons, with:
Willow Charcoal......1 pound, Bluestone..........1/2 pound, Zinc.................6 drams, Rain Water.......1 1/2 gal.
5. This would make a battery, within itself, you see, but this is to be charged from battery of this nature, 4 amp. 110 v. 60 cyc. for 15 minutes. Within this jar, while this is being charged, there will be placed a glass jar containing 4 oz. of iodine in solution. The poles, 1 shall be of silver and the other of steel. The iodine will take the charge while battery is being charged. The application of this to the body will be through connecting wires to a plate that would be attached to this body here first at the 2nd cervical, the next morning at the 3rd cervical, the next morning at the 5th cervical, then begin over and repeat, only 20 minutes at a time. The first three applications will not be felt particularly in the body, on the 4th the body will become sick and nauseated. Keep on taking it, tho. When this is taken for a time we will find the auditory nerves will begin to revibrate and give off the proper formation of sound in this body here. Do that. This you will find will reproduce the sound to this ear where the drum is not destroyed, it will not to the one that is destroyed. The body can hear normally, after using this for some 6 to 8 weeks. After the 4th week the battery will need recharging.
