1. EC: Now, we find the body very good physically in many respects, yet there are those specific conditions in the physical forces of the body that produce the effect of improper functioning of the organs of the body, and causes some distress and uneasiness to the body.
2. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, [157], we are speaking of. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find abnormal, produced by the physical condition existent, and aggravated by the distress caused by nerve retraction in functioning organs that leave, through this disturbance, drosses in the blood stream. Hence there are the effects of this condition in the pulsation, the pressure, the heart's action, though NOT an organic condition in heart.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in the cerebrospinal system we find the seat of the trouble. In times back there was (in a game of some kind) received an injury to the body, that produced a pressure in the plexus of the 8th, 9th dorsal, and reflexly, from other conditions produced in the generatory system, that in the 4th lumbar also becomes sympathetic with the condition. This is, then, that condition that RETARDS the digestion, especially that as is acted (or active) upon by the pancrean fluids or juices in the system. Hence the over taxation (see - cycle of the condition as is produced) to the mesenteric system and to the kidneys, and the liver congested in the right lobe, lax in the left. Hence, we have at times an excess in the activity, and again the congestion, or that tendency towards toxic poisons from congestion through the colon. In the nerve reflexes, these show throughout the system; yet these specific centers and ganglions are the ones involved in the beginning, and partially the TOXINS in the system produced from same at present. The specific condition, then, is produced in the action of the digestion, in pancrean, spleen, and liver and
157-1 Page 2
kidneys. The reaction is the blood condition, and the retraction the exciting the organs in their functioning through the pelvic and generatory system.
5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good.
6. The condition in the sensory organism an unbalanced one, as is seen from that as is produced in the auditory, optic, and in the supper-sensitiveness of the individual.
7. THROAT, BRONCHIALS, LUNGS, LARYNX. These show effects of blood condition, rather than of conditions organic, though some CONGESTION at present which produces phlegm in throat.
8. Heart's action - that strain as is shown from the subluxations in the 9th and 8th dorsal center.
9. The liver and the digestive system - all of digestion shows the stress and strain of the condition existent in the cerebrospinal nerve system. All of the condition throughout intestinal digestion, the strain to all the mesenteric system, is produced by the inactivity of the eliminations in the kidneys and the liver; that is, that circulation as is the hepatics shows a cold, and this produces the high pressure, or a slow circulation, or cold circulation.
10. Then, to bring the normal forces to the body, as well as to add to the general physical condition of the system, we would consistently and persistently follow out these suggestions:
11. First we would correct, through the osteopathic or chiropractic forces, those conditions existent in the dorsal and lumbar region, taking at least twelve to thirteen such adjustments and manipulations.
12. Taking in the system, to produce the proper incentive in the functioning system, these properties - that as will be found in this:
13. To a gallon of rain water, add 6 ounces dried garden sage. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to 1 quart. Strain while warm and add this: Ambergris.............15 grains, dissolved in Grain Alcohol..........1 ounce, Beet Sugar.............2 ounces, dissolved in Hot Water..............1 ounce, Cinnamon (preferably in the stick)..........3 drams, Gin (preferably Gordon's)..........4 ounces, Tincture Capsici.......1 minum.
14. Shake this solution well together, and the dose (and it should be shaken before each dose is taken) would be 2 teaspoonsful 3 times each day; and the diet as is, and as
157-1 Page 3
has been, outlined for the body by others should be adhered to more closely. Not much stimulants of any character; especially not of tea, coffee, or of alcohol. Use for the food rather the vegetable, and that that grows ABOVE the ground.
15. Use for the condition in the external portions of the body, where irritation shows, those properties as prepared in this:
16. To 4 ounces of OIL of butterfat, add the solution as will be found by reducing 6 drams of Plantain Root or Weed, to the butterfat; that is, the Plantain Weed 2 ounces put in 4 ounces of water, reduced to 1/2 ounce, see? This tea added to the butterfat. This does not mix well until stirred well together (each time this should be) and then applied at least once each day, until the capillary circulation becomes better, through the adjustments and through the cleansing of system with medicinal properties. Do that for the present. We are through. Copy to Self - also to his nephew, Mr. [4171], via Mr. [257] " " File
