1. GC: You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before, you see, and we find there are changes in the physical forces of the body from that as we had here before. Most of these are toward the improvement of the physical conditions. While there are still those conditions that are unsatisfactory for the correct functioning of the extremities and for the distribution of forces as apply to the resuscitation of reflex action in the system, this we find still in the line of improvement. We would follow out those suggestions for the manipulations and those stimulants in the manipulation for resuscitation of capillary circulation. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What is his present condition? (A) On the general improve, with the conditions as given respecting the replenishing or rebuilding in the system; that is, the reaction and the reflexes as are seen in the system are still responding - spasmodically; yet these very conditions show that the life of the reflex is still apparent to the full correction of the condition, will suggestions be followed along the lines as have been given. No medicinal properties save that as would keep the body in an attunement in assimilation and in digestion would be necessary, but much of those that would add to the resuscitation of the vibratory forces for the correction of muscular reflex, nerve center reaction and ganglion reaction, toward the impulses in the mental and physical body.

4. (Q) What will be the result of his father sailing March 24th to bring him back to this country? (A) Good! All good from this, for the combined effort of the mental bodies of each will bring that of the completeness in the desire of full resuscitation.

5. (Q) What benefit would there be in a diagnosis of his case by Dr. Frank Ober and Miss Wright of Boston?

164-2 Page 2

(A) The reaction from these would be very good. Dependent upon which of the two lines is followed by these in their diagnoses. Were that of the purely vibratory method used, good. Were it combined with the others, not so well.

6. (Q) What benefit to him would the Warm Springs, Georgia, treatments be? (A) These very good, but RATHER - were these methods used - those of Martinsville, Indiana, and warm MUD, be better. [French Lick Springs?]

7. (Q) What is the value of Franklin Roosevelt's advice? [GD's note: Mr. [165] was a friend of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.] (A) This is contrary-wise to many of those advices as given, yet - as seen - it has its good and bad points; not altogether bad, not altogether good. Rather follow those of the suggestions as have been given that will cooperate with the own mind and that of the body needing the reaction.

8. (Q) What treatments are recommended for him on his arrival in this country? (A) Rather let the arrival be, and then the suggestions - for all reactions may be entirely different from that apparent in the present condition, from the voyage, from the meeting, from those conditions as are meted out in the body at present.

9. (Q) What degree of recovery will he have in 1928? (A) As has been given, we see eventual full, complete, recovery. Not ALL will be meted in 1928, but MOST.

10. (Q) How can his will to recover be developed? (A) By the treatment of the subconscious forces - which may be reached as the body rests, or as the sensuous consciousness is at suspension. Suggestion then to the body reaches the will and the activity of the body; for, as in each and every individual, that from within must be awakened to bring the full resuscitation of physical reaction in the physical body; for whether there be applied mechanical, medicinal, or what not, the healing comes from within, and the awakening of that within brings the full coordination of the mental, the spiritual, the physical body - for even as a body is of the triune nature, each must foot, fulfill its own purpose; but at a ONENESS one with the other. Get that!

11. (Q) To what extent should his art work be developed? (A) WELL - for with the full development of self, and the inner self, this becomes a portion of the body-mental. [11/21/69 GD's note: He became an architect.]

12. (Q) What capacity will he develop toward a business career? (A) This very large question! Many conditions are to be considered when we give or consider the capacity of any individual in the state of development and under the

164-2 Page 3

circumstances such as this one. While this might be answered as very good, yet that would only cover a portion of the conditions surrounding the abilities and the application of the individual will towards those abilities. To make success financially will NEVER be the highest motive for the individual, but to make success in the broader sense would rather meet the IDEALS of the individual, which - WITH the ABILITIES - would mean the success financially and socially; yet we find social environments rather as the drawback in some respects, for this meted out in the broader sense to the individual, or INDIVIDUALITY of this body, would mean quite a different thing from the success as meted in the IDEAL or in the financial; yet these trained, these directed, these meted and met in the various exigencies that will arise, will bring well-rounded foursquare life for the body - for the basis is correct.

13. (Q) How successfully can he be developed to carry on his father's [paint manufacturing] business? (A) Rather following those suggestions as have just been given. [GD's note: His father's paint business "folded" 2-3 years later.]

14. That is all the questions regarding this body.

15. Now much may be said regarding the physical conditions of this body and the development of the abilities as are latent in this body. Well were these ferreted out as to why this condition as exists had to be met in the present existence. [Karma:Physical.]

16. We are through with this reading.
