1. GC: You will give a physical and mental reading on this body, with suggestions for the improvement of either or both of these, and you will answer the questions regarding the business associations I will ask you regarding this body.
2. EC: Yes (Very nice man!) we have the body and the enquiring mind, [165], here.
3. Now, in the physical conditions of the body, these are very good in many respects, yet there are those conditions of which the body has been warned, and that the body SHOULD he warned, concerning, and that by taking these considerations in time the body may avert troubles in the physical forces of the body later on. These have to do, especially, with the nerve system and the overtaxing of same, until there has been created - by this taxation - undue accumulation of tissue about certain nerve plexuses that would in time - were the eliminations to become any greater deterred from full elimination - bring distress to those portions of the functioning system that would be hindered, in the manner of nerve incentive received from such conditions as exist in the system, or a form of lesion existing, see? These, we find, are in the 4th and 5th dorsal. Hence the condition as is felt through the upper portion of the body sometimes after eating, and again after an over amount of mental work. Not a heart action. Not a heart trouble, yet the heart feels as if the body is AWARE of its functioning - that is, its POUNDING, see?
4. The pressure in the blood supply increased at times by the same condition as exists in this plexus, see? This is brought about when the body over eats, or takes so much that the system does not digest same nominally, and this then clogging up system, causing an extra amount of blood in other portions of the body, and these nerve centers acting in their capacity find themselves, as it were, without sufficient, and they proceed to produce those conditions as are felt by the body, see?
5. In the lower lumbar there is again such conditions - however, not produced from the same. This produced from a
165-1 Page 2
strain as has been reached, or experienced by the body in times back, and with the deflection of the circulation - with a deflection of nerve impulse in the cerebrospinal system - this at times causes a heaviness, and a little irritation through the functioning of the kidneys, especially the urine and bladder, though not irritated to the extent as to cause too much trouble, but naturally, with the business of the body, these conditions are over sensitive to conditions about, and this is experienced by the body as a hindrance. Not as a condition that is harmful at present. It might BECOME so - for these are WARNINGS, rather than as conditions that are producing or causing so much trouble at present.
6. The correcting of these would be rest, sun baths, sand baths, or mud baths, occasionally. The body should be rather regular in taking good Turkish or Russian baths, so that the capillary circulation is enlivened. The exercise, and outdoor exercise, and the general physical forces of the body, very good. These are as warnings, and as corrections that may be made, see? by the normal functioning of the body to keep good eliminations, and to prevent clogging up of nerve plexus and centers in the physical force.
7. In the mental reaction the body is good - very good! for the body often considers others - as is seen in the work as is demonstrated to the younger set.
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) Is my future best conserved by specializing in Paints, Enamels, Lacquers or Varnishes? (A) Paints, Enamels, Lacquers.
10. (Q) Should I limit my efforts to Industrial finishing materials or to Store Trade merchandise of a combination of both? (A) A combination offers the greater field, and the greater activities of the INDIVIDUAL in ITS capacity of operations - that is, the individual - this body, see, and its scope of business relations and business conditions - is of that nature that covers the BROADER field, the broader sense, rather than the one, see? for one would be assistance to the other.
11. (Q) Is my future best conserved by a tie-up with Mr. Samuel Rosenthal or Mr. E. M. Rosenthal or Mr. [5616] or to an institution dominated by myself alone? (A) Self alone the better.
12. (Q) Will the evident future cooperation between Mr. [257] and myself materialize, and if so will it be successful? (A) It will materialize - but later on, and will be successful - that is twenty-eight, see?
13. (Q) Can you give me a picture of the best geographical
165-1 Page 3
location for exploiting those things which I am capable of handling? (A) The field in which the entity is laboring is as good a field as will be found, see? for these things as are capable of being handled by the body are in this field - both as to the spiritual and the material. Forget not, though, outside. Keep well in touch with others, for there will be many fields, and the entity's endeavors will branch out - be better known in and among many fields, see?
14. (Q) Is my plan of turning every dollar of possible assets into cash for furthering my business plans the proper one? (A) To a certain extent, yes - but not to the extent as to curtail the other work the entity or body in contemplating also. Branch out as the entity sees is the way and manner, but not too much at the EXPENSE of self's best interest in those directions that are as the real life of the entity, see?
15. (Q) The plans that I have been making for my family have been assuming definite form and yet I am not positive they are the correct ones. Would like to have your view of this. (A) Very good. These, as they assume the greater way, will be shown and expanded before the body, see? for, as they take more definite shape, these will work themselves out - for in action - as is seen in that of the younger generations - in action comes the building, see? that is, as the body puts these plans into action, and as they are developed, the others open. In faith, carry on - for this is well with thee.
16. (Q) A general idea of the commercial future of this line of industry is much desired. (A) This may be approached from many different angles - but, as there is seen, there are more fields of this line of endeavor being opened from time to time, and these offer the greater possibilities in the lines as are given the entity. While there are those conditions that in the general business way will be unsatisfactory in this present year, not so much with this entity felt in this year as in the coming season, see? next spring, but these in their general way and manner - without being for specific conditions in specific localities - will be found to work to a larger, broader, bigger, and better outlook for this body.
17. We are through for the present.
