1. EC: We have the enquiring mind, [165], and those associations and relations. Many of these we have had here before. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) In growing hair by means of Ultra Violet Rays - used externally and a compound internally - should active principle of compound be sulphur or iodine - or both - or some other element? (A) This would depend entirely upon the character of disturbance in the physical body to be so treated. While sulpher and iodine are component factors or elements lacking in many systems that are so afflicted (if it may be termed such), but there would be changes or different combinations, and the effect on one would be different from the effect upon another. As a GENERAL system, we would say the sulphur would be the component factor.
3. (Q) Has the time arrived for commercially making and selling pharmaceutical preparations for relieving the sick? (A) It has been and is here. Many different combinations may be made as pharmaceutical preparations, and many in the form of specific and specific conditions may be dealt with. Just as in the health room experimentations, as has been given, and as has been suggested in the beginning with these, we will find - as outlined - two SPECIFIC characters of lights should be first dealt with. Those of the ultra violet, that floods the whole room - and is of that intensity that deals principally, or primarily, with the nerve and blood system; and also those of the infra red, that will deal more directly with those of the deeper organs and the sinew and structural portion of system. Combinations of these must also appear, and we will find also many properties may be carried directly into the system through the activity of the light rays, as will have its effect upon the system, and pharmaceutical preparations may

be made or compounded for the usages of the system where we have such conditions as acne, or that of any eruptions, or tic, or any muscular contractions, or those of locomotia affectations - these will carry preparations of a medicinal nature or character for the particular infection or portion of system infected. Just as will be seen in the COMPOUND unit of the infra red and the ultra violet with other properties that will have more to do with those conditions where the condition, as goitre, or of those of the form of pus sacks forming in system, or the various fermentations of streptococci, or the various conditions as have to do with the system, that the cellular units of same, or infections from those of the system where poisons are being absorbed or thrown into the system without proper eliminations. These will also have their characteristics of properties that have heretofore been given either hypodermically, or has been given as internal forces to work through the whole system, and giving to the system those effects in VARIED conditions - or where even the knife has been used. Then, we will find those also wherein properties may be taken into the system and the activity of both the violet ray and the infra red will have the effect upon those of the functioning glands as related to genitation, or to those portions of the system that have to do with the extenuation of life forces in its cellular elements itself, dealing then directly with such conditions as come from the diseases of the organs through which genitation [genitation - gestation?] and generation begins. These in those such as of the dreaded, or not mentionable [venereal?] diseases in many directions, of which nine-tenths of the family are afflicted in one direction or another. These health rooms, these health lights, with medicinal rays, or pharmaceutical preparations, will be effective in these directions.
4. (Q) How can the making of the pharmaceutical preparations be started in Chicago by [165]'s chemists? (A) They should be started in conjunction with the light room - not chemist. There should be the chemist of the light rays, as goes with the various forces. Though portions of these may be worked separate, these should be as a unit, and worked together.
5. (Q) Describe functioning of group to handle interior decorating finishes in N. Y. consisting of [165], [2653], Hazel Adler of Taylor System of Color Harmony? (A) These, as has been intimated and as given, should function with those who have had - and have - direct association or connection with those that have had the actual experience in the placing of the order, or the actual

work OF the decoration. Then these may work in harmony with the various functionings each would fill in such an operation. That is - (see, this isn't understood here - It is by [165] that there must be some channel through which the work of these three may work. Actual workmen, see?
6. (Q) How can we improve the organized group of these three forming the active company on basis contemplated? (A) Just as given.
7. (Q) Is Dr. D. A. Hoxie of Stapelton Marine Hospital, Staten Island, N.Y., who has been approached by [165], capable of and will he be willing to become the head physician of Cayce Hospital. (A) There will be, necessarily, many changes in the conditions as surround same, before the body would become such. There must be, necessarily, many activities to be gone through. The ABILITY is present. The conditions to act upon should be as secondary, not as first.
8. (Q) By "Sun Company of Cincinnati" do the forces mean "of Louisville"? [See 165-15, Par. 2-A on 9/21/29.] (A) Rather that of the branch - Cincinnati - through which these channels may work for the operation of that effort sought.
9. (Q) What is the name of the branch? (A) Sun!
10. (Q) What concern in Chicago is meant by "Finklestein"? [See 165-15, Par. 2-A on 9/21/29.] (A) Finklestein & Co.
11. (Q) Which of these should [[165] & [5616] Co.] first try to purchase? (A) The branch in Cincinnati.
12. (Q) Will the factory of Rex Company, Connersville, Indiana, do as well for specialty furniture as that in Nebro, Penna., which we cannot locate? (A) May be made to function through the same channels as one for the ones as outlined.
13. (Q) Through what channel can [165] best get personally - well - acquainted with Mr. Weiland, executive of Radio-Victor Corporation of Camden, N.J.? (A) Through those same channels as has been given.
14. (Q) Could Messrs. Samuel Collom, Samuel Peacock, William Tilden or Paul Gibbons - tennis officials in Philadelphia - be of help? (A) Could be of help.
15. (Q) How can this acquaintance with Mr. Weiland be accomplished on the 13th, 14th or 15th of this month?

(A) Through those same channels as has been given.
16. (Q) What - and how frequent - future business readings should [165] have? (A) That as necessary to meet the needs of conditions as arise from the various efforts as are being put forth as to accomplish those conditions as necessary to carry out the lines as are being attempted.
17. (Q) Should Taylor System service for [165] & [5616] Co. be rendered first on Radio Cabinets or Metal beds or Juvenile furniture or some other line? (A) Radio cabinets.
18. (Q) We understand that in Health Room work we should begin with lights having a surface action on the body. Will these - (A) That already indicated, and not of a deeper vibration, or that carry deeper formations, as are seen as necessary in the conditions as has been outlined.
19. (Q) Will these efforts be on glass or filaments or carbons or some other element? (A) As has been given, one element would be necessary for the carrying out of some of the operations as will be needed in same. These are to be made - or those as to be used first, as has been outlined - should be those that are already present. The operation should be within, with the application in the various forms as may be outlined for same, and in those that are already being used. These are to be developed upon those as have been carried forward, using same in the line of patents as have been obtained through those efforts - then the application of these comes in their direct way of the building, the supplying - and in the building through that same operation that the experimentation is carried on. The experimenter and the builder are to be under the same supervision. The distribution of same may come through the same channels in a different manner.
20. (Q) With what type of equipment shall the Health Room Equipment, Inc. begin? (A) Combination of those that are carried in same, to apply for the various things as outlined that the ultra violet - as is on the actual operation at times, unless moved, as has been outlined, in different applications for individual conditions, is of too great an intensity for the surface application, or for those of the nerve and blood supply. While in those as seen in the infra red, these are of such a nature - as in many instances - to prove detrimental to tissue itself, while with the new character of filament there will be different nature and different activity.

First beginning with the surface, and those already indicated - changed in the form and manner in which the activities of same are - that as lies between those vibrations set up in a system - between that of the violet ray and the ultra violet ray applications.
21. (Q) Who will manufacture the developments of the Health Room Equipment, Inc? (A) Should be under the same supervision.
