Time of Reading 3:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body here, Mrs. [178]. Now, we find there are conditions as cause disturbances in the physical and mental functionings for the body. These, in part at least, being of a specific nature, and thus cause some SPECIFIC disorders, and the effects in others.

2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [178] we are speaking of. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this shows the effect of nerve exhaustion, and thus has a VARYING reaction in the system, and varying also in the pulsation, in the heart's action, in conditions produced in the hepatic circulation.

4. In the ELEMENTS, or constituents of same, we find rather that of an alterable change in the deep circulation and capillary circulation, producing at times cold and hot flushes; complaining of being cold at times and of unduly warm at times.

5. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, AND SYSTEMS, here we find rather the seat or the CAUSE of the disorders with this body. In the lower dorsal and lumbar regions there exist specific conditions, as have produced pressure and premature (early menopaus?) reaction with the ORGANS in PELVIS. Also these cause the reaction as is seen in the vegetative nerve system. This hot and cold reaction in the circulation between liver and kidneys, tendency at times of an over-activity of kidneys, showing some reactions as of auto-intoxification, even through the REFUSE from system. At others, apparently near clear - but CONGESTION existent in the liver at such times. In the reflexes from such pressure, this causes an excess of circulation produced above the diaphragm, by this alterable condition. Hence the FEAR as comes of choking, of someone approaching, someone harming the body. These are REFLEXES from pressure produced in the pelvic regions, and this causes that fullness in throat as occurs. Dryness, and the capillary circulation changing. A neurotic condition, and NOT wholly a neurotic

178-1 Page 2

(neurosis?). Rather from a specific condition, neurotic effects are produced in portions OF the cerebrospinal and sympathetic reactions TO the organs of the system.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS, brain forces show their abnormal reactions from these pressures, though the incentives and nominal reaction is NEAR to normal.

7. Organs of the sensory system show correspondent reaction to a fullness of a capillary circulation, and again of a depleted and overflow through an internal circulation. Excretions or secretions in the portions of the face and neck extensive beyond normalcy at times; at others dryness is a reaction from the conditions.

8. Lungs near normal.

9. Heart's action sympathetically shows the depression.

10. The digestion is rather that of the nervous INDIGESTION.

11. The spleen shows its engorgement from the nervous depression, and also from that of the conditions existent in the hepatic circulation.

12. Liver showing congestion in the central lobe, also those pains as resultant in the region OF the gall bladder are those of the effects of a disturbed or cold hepatic circulation that comes and goes intermittently.

13. In the HEPATICS and kidneys, these show the effect of the distresses.

14. Those conditions existent in the pelvic organs, where the depressions show in the lower lumbar - the lower dorsal, the lower lumbar - shows the effect, or that of the specific nature, and the RESULTANT forces are those as we see of exaggerated conditions through the mental reactions, and of the organs disturbed in their functioning.

15. In meeting the needs of the conditions for this body, these - as we find - must of necessity be met through that reaction that may keep the normal balance in eliminations, in coordinations both in elimination SYSTEMS and in the circulatory system, for disturbance as has existed there FROM those of the specific and of the reflex condition TO the organs, must be kept more near NORMAL, will we bring the RESPONDING conditions to the system.

16. Then, we would apply those forces as would be found in that of that sedative reaction at times, as would be found in the combination as of this:

17. To 2 ounces of simple syrup, add: Tincture Valerian.........................1/2 ounce, Elixir Calisaya........................... 1 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium...........20 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium..........40 minims,

178-1 Page 3

Tincture of Capsici.........................2 minims.

18. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken. The dose may be taken every three hours, but may be taken BETTER - unless its necessary for the quietness of the body - twice each day, teaspoonful in glass of water.

19. We would also correct, osteopathically, those conditions existent in the lumbar and the lower DORSAL region, applying to the body those of the sinusoidal low vibration from the umbilicus plexus UPWARD, to the lower LUMBAR plexus backward - see?

20. Also keeping the mind active as to those forces as would make for companion and companionate relationships with others. Do that. Ready for questions.

21. (Q) Please explain regarding the sinusoidal treatment. Where would the poles be attached? (A) The upper left portion of the umbilicus plexus, the first - see? body on side. Then the next pole at the 4th lumbar plexus, and of the low circular motion or way. This cares for those disturbances in the false pelvis, that will relieve BY the correction as is given manipulatively and correctively in the last two dorsals and the whole of the lumbar region, see? This is to cause that circular motion which brings into activity the base of the plexus reaction from the exterior portion, REDUCING the reaction as causes tightness in the lumbar and in the lower portion of abdomen - see? This would be given about once every two to three days, dependent upon the response of the system to this reaction, and in the beginning NOT more than two minutes, in the first treatment. In the second, three minutes. In the third, two minutes. Then in the 4th, may be given for three and a half minutes, to four minutes - see?

22. (Q) What should the diet be? (A) The diet should be that of especially the nerve and blood building for the whole of the nerve system, as will be found by the manipulations - which should be given every day - to be of the EXHAUSTIVE type. Hence the stimulation that RELAXES. Hard for the body to relax, even when resting in sleep, for the CONGESTION - or contraction through congestion in nerve centers, even into the capillary and the emunctories - cause a twitching and a jerking at times, even in sleep. Restlessness! LATER we will find that those vibrations from the plain Radio-Active Appliance would be effective, but would be TORMENTING to the body in the BEGINNING. Do hard enough to get the sinusoidal reactions properly!

23. (Q) Can the body get the treatment at home, or should it come to the hospital?

178-1 Page 4

(A) Would hardly get the treatment at home, for it would be hard to use the sinusoidal treatment at home, or to get the manipulations each day properly, or to coordinate those of the treatments that are for the nerve system, through that of the medicinal properties. These are sedatives, sure but not sedatives in the nature that are of ANY way habit FORMING. Who would WANT Calasaya! It is blood purifying, and there's the Valerian - which is nerve sedative - as is those of the iodine, or iodide and bromides are sedatives for the nerve system; and the body will respond to these, these applied in the manner given.
