Time of Reading 4:15 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: As we find, there has been rather the acute disturbance through the upsetting of the balance in the chemical forces of the bodily influences themselves. This is in the manner of creating too much of certain influences, or, as indicated, there is the NEED of the iodines for the system, for the balance in the blood supply, or the heart pressure and the activities of the influences between heart, liver and lungs.

2. All of this tends to make for lethargy in some conditions, depressing influences, and the unbalancing of the activities in the general blood supply.

3. As we find, we would purify the system by taking small quantities of Atomidine at regular intervals. This would supply iodine and aid in bringing a better balance. Take one minim in half a glass of water each morning before any meal is taken, and keep this up for about five days; leave off five days, then take again, and so on.

4. But keep the alimentary canal cleansed, especially the colon area, with colonic irrigations; else we may find greater disturbance by the pressure produced upon the heart AND the liver activity.

5. Do this, and be mindful that there is the better balancing of the diets for elimination, and not too great quantities of acid-producing foods taken. Citrus fruits, to be sure, are NOT acid-producing; they are alkaline producing, unless combined WITH starches at the same meal when these are taken in the system.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) What is meant by the body being off of its equilibrium? (A) It means just what it says! that there is an ABNORMAL balance in the blood supplies through the body - or the metabolism.

8. (Q) What has the fluids of the ear to do with the equilibrium of the body? (A) It keeps the balance, just like a governor upon an

engine, or keeping the balance or equilibrium as if one were on rollers or moving; it aids in keeping the balance in the whole of the system's activity. Hence the dizziness that occurs, the unbalancing in the circulatory forces, and all of these disturbances.

9. (Q) What foods should she eat when these attacks are bothering her? (A) Rather, as we find, only liquids or semi-liquids, and principally such as rye and wheat, steel cut oats and those things of such natures that add plenty of Vitamin B but NOT too much of those that would tend to raise the blood pressure.

10. (Q) What are the sodium foods that cause the attacks, if any? (A) These as we find are the excesses of those foods in combinations that produce disturbances of such natures.

11. (Q) What should be done to correct the fluid condition in the ear? (A) As we have indicated, in keeping the pressures off of those areas where the nerve forces are affected through the alimentary canal and the whole conditions through the nerve forces of the body. These will make for better balancing.

12. (Q) Did the Berg treatments help this body as were taken last week? (A) Not particularly, though they are not particularly harmful. They are helpful in some ways, yet disturbing in others.

13. (Q) What causes nausea, and what will stop it? (A) Too much of the inclination for regurgitation. Don't eat too much - and use Alcaroid as a digestant after meals, especially if any grease is taken.

14. (Q) What exercise can she take? (A) Walking or the like is the best exercise for this body. Not any great amount of other exercise, than that as may be given by those who would make the application of the massage or treatments for the body.

15. (Q) What general diet should body take? (A) As indicated, keep away from those foods that tend to make for too much acid, yet keep SUFFICIENT acid to make a balance through the system. Twenty percent of the foods should be acid-producing, but eighty percent should be alkalin-producing.

16. (Q) How can she reduce and not cause illness? (A) By the use of diets that tend to make for the lack of flesh building; or liquid and semi-liquid foods, and fruits and raw vegetables.

17. (Q) Is osteopathic treatment recommended through Reilly or Dobbins? (A) That which will make for the reduction of the inclination for pressures, and these as we find OSTEOPATHICALLY administered - as through Dobbins - would be better than other applications. [Harold J. Reilly, Ph.T; Frank P. Dobbins, D.O.]

18. (Q) Do her eyes affect her in any way? (A) Only as reflexly to the nerve forces and systems of the body.

19. (Q) Are the teeth causing the trouble? (A) Only sympathetically.
