This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of September, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [195].

R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 10:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.
1. GC: You will have before you the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You Will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [195]. This we have had here before.
3. The dreams come to the body, to the mind, as an experience to the entity that may be applied through the body-mental forces in the developing of the body, in mental, spiritual and physical ways and manners. Ready for dream.
4. (Q) Tuesday morning, August 10, 1926. "Dreamed of standing with Dr. [2723] - in front of us was a huge dark snake - appparently friendly. This snake was attacked by another huge red snake, and when the red snake was apparently getting the best of the battle, I seized them by the tails and beat the red snake against side of building. They fell apart, and I noticed that the red snake seemed to have lost most of its flesh - merely flabby skin left. However, red snake, or what was left of it, crawled over to another snake and started to devour it. I said to Doc, 'What shall we do?' He said, 'If the snake can't take care of itself after - ' We did let the other one eat it." (A) In this there are presented those subtle conditions as related to the individual seen, and with whom conversation is had regarding conditions that exist in the lives of the individuals. And the snake represents the action of the individual towards others. And, as viewed by the entity, attempting to present those conditions as would make peace, yet, as is seen, the experience to one is that it devours the other, in that element of the subtle conditions that have been changed through individuals. The lesson, then, as the entity acts in the capacity of the peacemaker, do not allow self to become entangled in conditions that would bring consternation or worry or troubles to self.
5. (Q) Saturday morning, August 14, 1926. "My partner,

[182], came to be and wanted to use empty bottle. Not having any, I said I'd get him one. Went to basement and as I started to pick up old bottle found a pile of paper money of large denominations that belonged apparently to no one." (A) In this there is presented to the entity that through these channels, of something that is to be bottled, will be presented to the two, that in which there will be piles and piles of money made. This has something to do with the action of something in bottles, see?
6. (Q) Will I make bottles? (A) Make bottles, or something that goes in bottles, see? They will be presented - that is, from other individuals, see? and, as is seen, there is then the manufacture of a something that has to do with bottles, see? and, as is presented for consideration, then acceptance should be made, for, as seen, there will be seen piles and piles of money may be made from same. Use same aright.
7. (Q) Will we manufacture something to replace oil bottles? (A) Something that has to do with bottles. Patent kind of spout, or cover, or something for bottles.
8. (Q) Monday morning, August 30, 1926, in Virginia. "Dreamed was on an isthmus in Southern California and standing with my brothers and mother. One brother left to put on bathing suit. As I was standing there, I noticed the waters of ocean near shore were agitated, so I mentioned to my mother that it looked like a tidal wave, saying that Cayce predicted a tidal wave in California. We started away from shore toward a hill. After a short time the water followed us and as we neared the summit, we came upon a cluster of religious buildings - Catholic. The water still at our heels, we started to scale the church but a priest waved us to some monument, which we climbed out of water to reach. We were next all standing on ground in some place. Here Lee, an old acquaintance, came up and said he must telephone his wife in Los Angeles - our group - Mother and brothers, and in this instance my sister was there (my sister not being friendly) and in this instance having the same feeling. I left for summit to notice the ocean on other side of Isthmus. When I got to summit, the ocean was at correct level, but immediately started to rise and came right up to summit, a small portion overflowing, and I escaped on the side of an elevation toward the religious buildings - as water went by." (A) In this vision - for, as we see, this is a combination of the mental forces, with those experiences of the mental mind, correlated with those of the subconscious forces of the entity, and presenting same to this body mind, this

entity, [195], in this emblematical way and manner, of truths as are seen and experienced in the vision. In the mental forces we find the entity considering condition as respecting changes as would take place. Immediately same are presented through those relations of relative conditions in mental, physical and spiritual beings as related to the entity, and as to their physical experience of being safe. Safeness, then, is represented again - not only in physical condition, but in that as related to the spiritual forces, seen in the religious connection with same; yet, as seen in the relations of friends, foes, or those as non-entities to the mental forces of the mind, those remain as experiences through the vision. And, as is seen then, these lessons, these truths, are presented to this entity for the mental reaction, for the physical reaction and the spiritual reaction, from same. In the physical there is then seen, that through these forces, as are manifested in sea, in land, in the conditions to exist, portions of the land, of the country, will be exposed to these conditions. These, then, remain to the entity to either warn or to give to others the warning as concerning conditions. Should these be overdone by the lack of faith in same, then that element as is left in the spiritual forces should be exercised as concerning same, for in this comes safety, even as is seen in that of friendships, and the calls for those who would call out those who are as near and dear to individuals in the physical. And as these come, the sea, the rise to the mountain heights, is as the rise to the spiritual forces, or the spiritual development of an entity. There comes those elements entering in wherein that the aid, the succor, the strength, that is the base of every individual, must be in the higher forces, as are represented in the religious elements. 9. (Q) In reading given on August 27th regarding weather [195-32], where in California will earthquake predicted October 15th - 20th be the worst? Will there be a tidal wave at that point, or where in California? (A) Tidal wave being, as is given, in the far East, the earthquake being in lower California, see?
10. (Q) In dream regarding the bottles, when will matter be presented? (A) Portion of this has already been presented. Parts are being worked out at present.
11. (Q) Since the entity left ..., Ohio? (A) Presented to [182], see?
