1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: We have the body here.
3. Now, we find there are many conditions that are abnormal with the physical functioning of the organs of this body, Mrs. [201]. These conditions, some we find are of that nature that have to do with specific physical conditions in the body. Others are as the effects of these conditions. Hence the blood supply, the eliminations, and the disturbance in the functioning of organs, all are a portion of the disturbed or abnormal force within the body; though we find there is sufficient to build upon that the vitality and normalcy of the body may be restored to the normal forces, unless these are allowed to become in such a malignant or aggravated form as to produce the specific organic disturbances in the body.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body:
5. First in the functioning that is disturbed by the specific conditions in this body, would we give; for through these we may be able to better determine how the blood and the nerve system, with the functioning of organs, are disturbed.
6. In times back there have been such disturbances in the system, through the run-down physical condition as was produced in the body, that have caused in the lower dorsal, and throughout the lumbar, that depression that disturbed the whole of the mesenteric system, as well as the organs of the pelvis. With cold, congestion, coming on following these conditions, there became involved in this disturbance those of the circulation through that of the inability of the body to discharge or throw off the poisons as were accumulated from this cold and congestion. With the weakened condition as exsisted in the body, instead of this settling in the pulmonaries or in the portions of the system

that are affected by the respiratory system, the mesenteric system being so weakened, the condition became that as of a catarrhal condition in the stomach and intestinal system, disturbing then more the spleen, the liver, and the kidneys, in their functioning. Hence the warning as given: Do not allow such conditions to become either localized or aggravated to such an extent as to become localized in one specific organ, and thus bring on a plethora, and a dis-eased, and diseased condition in either of the organs; for these would then become malignant [cancerous?], or of tubercular nature.
7. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, then, we find the body shows the effect of these conditions; yet not the disturbed circulation, in the sense that this may not be impaired, or repaired; for impaired is as existent, repaired is as the attempt of the system in the present condition to rebuild wherein the body may carry more of those properties in the blood supply that resist distress and destroy bacilli as forms from such poisons.
8. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, with this debilitation, and with the subluxation in the lower dorsal and throughout the lumbar, we find this does not give off the proper incentive in either digestion or elimination, and in same we find the liver, the kidneys, the spleen, and the digestion as taken on by the intestinal tract, are in that condition of only functioning normal occasionally, as it were. Hence the general debilitation, the tiredness, the weakness, the tendency to swell, the inability of the system to eliminate properly through the alimentary canal, disturbance in the organs of the pelvis, the pains across the small of the back, the bearing down pains to the whole system when the body is on feet, attendance of short breath when the body over exercises - yet the same over exercise in mental condition brings on same condition. These, as we see, are the EFFECTS of the conditions.
9. THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, show their distress through the circulation, through nerve reflexes, through the inability of coordination in the system.
10. To meet the needs of these conditions at the present time, the better would be for the body to be in some place where there is the ability to obtain sun, sand, and shade baths, see? Sun, sand, and shade baths. Saltwater, rather than chalybeate or sulphur, and this is as would be the better for the body.
11. Rest, with mild cathartics occasionally, and osteopathically correct those conditions in the lumbar and the lower dorsal region, taking one to two (1 to 2) of such

adjustments a week. Remain in sun and in sand after the salt bath or dip. Those sands as carry most of the curative forces in all minerals, and of radium or radiolyte [?] [radiode light?] radiation, for these build for the blood and nerve system, see?
12. The diet will play the important part with such recuperative forces for the body.
13. Not meats, but those that carry iodine and iron, and the mineral salts. As sea food, and as those that are of the vegetable nature - in tomatos, potatoes, lettuce, celery, spinach - or any of those that are of the vegetables nature that grow above ground, see?
14. Follow these, and we would find that in from six to eight (6 to 8) weeks we would bring the normal forces to this body, [201].
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Would the waters at Red Boiling Springs help me by drinking it and taking the baths? If so, which water should I drink? (A) Preferably as given for this body. These should be sand and sea baths, and sun and shade baths. Preferably, then, near sea shore.
17. (Q) Will visiting or having company be of benefit? Or should I be quiet and exercise all I can? (A) BOTH! Visiting, or as given, to the sea shore, and the sun and sand baths. A portion of the time should be spent alone, and portion of the time should be spent in the company of many. Do not overtax the mental or the physical strength, but build and eat along those lines as has been outlined. Such as we would find along the Virginia Coast, see?
18. That is all the questions.
19. We are through for the present.
