Time of Reading 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio. (Check physical - enquiring mind - questions regarding physical and business relations.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body [202] here. This we have had before. Changes are taking place with the physical conditions in the body. The changes in the manner in which the radial effect of nerve energy, as comes from those portions in the dorsal region, are nearer in accord with the real and active reactions for the correction of conditions as radiated from the mis-directed energy from same. This, then, needs only that of the continued care, and the continued application of self as respecting diet and activity of the body, to bring a near NORMAL action in the physical forces of the body. Do that, and keep physically fit, for MUCH may be accomplished through the efforts of this body. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Is the body being administered to properly? (A) This nearer in accord with that as has been given. Here: In the conditions - as is seen, as has been given - when there is the application of physical force to any nerve plexus to correct the application of the nerve ENERGY towards a certain functioning of the system, this in too great a strain would (and as has been seen in the body) produce as much mis-directed energy in another direction as to bring NORMAL forces for the body. Just as in strengthening, or straightening any condition in a physical sense. It may be bended too far in another direction and we have two crooks instead of one. Just as the [osteopathic] manipulations, mis-directed, may overtax another portion of the system and while there may be relief for the time being, yet the outcome CANNOT be a normal reaction. With the gentle massage [osteopathically], so that the stimuli as is produced is giving the normal nerve reaction from the ganglia being so manipulated, then the reaction to the system as is surcharged by the forces and energy from the system, will come near normal in the reaction of the

organs, tissue, so involved in such condition.
3. (Q) What is the condition of the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th dorsal plexus? (A) These show some conditions where there HAS been the mis-directed energy from same, as affected especially the sympathetic cardiac plexus. Also they show there has existed that which mis-directed insufficient of energy to the lower portion of the diaphragm, or the plexus as aids in the activity of energies necessary in action of the lower right lobe of liver. Now, in the PRESENT conditions, we find these are functioning nearer in a NORMAL manner. Hence the energies as are necessary for the proper functioning would show near normal reflexes from same. Hence, as given, only keep that properly in system as to prevent the system's too easily slipping back to an abnormal reaction from such; that is, keep up occasionally those of the manipulations necessary to keep proper alignment throughout the dorsal and lumbar regions. Also following the line of the diet that is in keeping with that, that will keep the near nominal digestive and assimilating for the system, and we will keep a body near physically fit.
4. (Q) State specifically what treatment I should continue taking when in Cincinnati? (A) That JUST as outlined, that the muscular forces along all segments of the cerebrospinal system are kept in normal alignment, without allowing an accumulation in any center that would prevent the normal reaction from the plexuses as govern the functioning of the system along this portion of the body. Following also those of not always the LEAST resistance, but of that as is necessary in the diet for the system to keep digestion in the eliminating and assimilating system near normal.
5. (Q) State in detail what diet the body should adhere to. (A) That much as has been outlined, or as THIS - with some changes as may come, or become necessary as the body finds self coming to the near normal reaction: That of the meats LITTLE, save that of fish or fowl - and principally THEN, that of wild game would be MUCH preferable. The JUICES of these for the body are much BETTER than those of the flesh itself, though this may be taken in moderation. Not too much white bread, though bread may be taken in moderation - preferably those of whole wheat, or rye, or oaten bread. Those of the vegetables, PRINCIPALLY those that are of the iron and of the nerve supplying energies for the system. Do not eat apples, though fruit of the nature that are reaction or reacting to an alkalin are
202-4 Page 3
well. If any apples, only those of the jenneting variety may be taken, and should not THEN be taken raw. No bananas. Pears, peaches, plums, berries of ALL natures, may be taken in moderation - though NOT an over quantity. Following along these as a GENERAL line, with modifications as conditions arise, we will find the correct for this body, [202].
6. (Q) Are the kidneys functioning properly? (A) With the change of the conditions as have been brought about in the lower lumbar region, and with the relief as has come to the body from the correction in the 8th and 9th dorsal, we find these nearer the nominal forces. The functioning of the glands about the kidneys - the adrenal glands - these are much more in a normal force or reaction.
7. (Q) Is the climate in Cincinnati injurious to the body's health? (A) No.
8. (Q) Would it be advisable to resign my position in Cincinnati and move to California? (A) No.
9. (Q) State name of osteopath I should have treat me in Cincinnati? (A) Anyone in sympathy with that as is being accomplished in the body, or that is not so "high and mighty" as he may not be directed by the body.
10. (Q) What should I do to improve my mental condition in regards to ailments? (A) Think in wholly constructive manner; that is, as this: There is creative in the system that which may meet the needs of the physical body in its everyday activity, and sufficient to store energy for the resuscitation of USED forces. Make that known in self. As the mind accepts a condition as being POSITIVE, it ACTS upon that condition, yet when negative forces are continually set before self, and expected - and the expectancy is as of such to make the reaction of such a nature as to DESTROY, then NEGATIVE forces become the more active. NECESSARY, then, that the body - ANY body - keep the near normal of a constructive building in the mind; for MIND is the Builder.
11. (Q) Is it necessary for the body to go to a hospital to take a kidney test? (A) Not necessary, though the body may take - and find THIS, for this would be a test as may be found - and this may be taken by the body to prove, if it so desires! Here: In the reaction of the kidneys there will be found the negative, in action. In the sedimentaries, little of a cloud will be found. In that of the sand, or clay, there would only be a small trace. In that of the activities of the glands IN kidneys, there will he found POSITIVE. These

are all good. Now, as to what they will be two weeks hence, with a changed diet entirely, might be different. Try this, this afternoon! This may be made here!
12. (Q) State in detail what kind and amount of exercise the body should take? (A) As much outdoor exercise as is possible, always, for the body. A sufficient amount of MENTAL exercise to keep an even keel or balance with that of the physical body; for the body nominally is an ACTIVE body, mentally and physically, and in the manner as will make the body PHYSICALLY tired; so may the body be made MENTALLY tired. These are the even keel for THIS body, particularly. Walking, riding, any outdoor exercise GOOD. Any of the mental forces, either in relations as to individuals or to things; for things and people, BOTH, INTEREST the body. PEOPLE, and their reaction, MOST.
13. (Q) Would it benefit my condition to take olive oil injections? (A) Not necessarily. With the proper reactions taking place in the system, we are only adding then that which should be supplied by the system, and with the extra amount we only increase that as is to be taken care of through other channels, and we clog the system, rather than aid. These are GOOD, under certain conditions. Not NECESSARY, with the body rebuilding and recuperating, or for [202] at present.
14. (Q) What avocation should I take up to benefit my mental condition? (A) That as pertains to individuals, or peoples, and their reaction to mental or to physical, or to material things. The reaction of mind, then, is the greater study, and will broaden the individual body.
15. (Q) What causes my halitosis and what can I do to prevent it? (A) Correct that condition properly, as has been given that affects the lower portion of the liver in its activity, and when the system is nomially responding to those conditions, this trouble, this odor, will disappear.
16. (Q) Any further suggestions for the benefit of this body? (A) Much might be said as respecting the mental AND physical abilities of the body. First apply that as given. Start self aright, and in the acquiring of understanding much more may be given. Do that. We are through with this reading for the present.
