1. EC: We have the body here, [209]. Now, we find there are disorders that, without being corrected must eventually bring conditions as would be hard to cope with, while at the present time these only cause some distress, discomfort, and uneasiness. These, as we find, have particularly to do with the basic metabolism of the system, and of the tendencies of accumulations to form in a manner as to produce pressures in the system, that makes for a distortion of the functioning organs, as well as tendencies for plethora formations in the system.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [209] we are speaking of, present in this room:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find these conditions:
4. From the very nature of the irritations in the nerve system and in the organs of the pelvis, and in the portion of the pelvis cavity itself, these produce a tendency for a reduction in the numbers of resistive forces and an acumen towards that of producing a CHARACTER of anemia. Not that there isn't SUFFICIENT blood, but a CHARACTER in the blood is deficient. This makes for the tendencies of the accumulations, of portions where inflammation may exist, of forming of those globular formations and pressures in the system, as indicated in the bladder region, as is indicated in those portions of pelvis themselves. In the effect this creates in the blood supply, a tendency of a TREMBLY nature - rather than of an exciting character. Dull headaches, from the cutting off of the blood supply through its nominal flowing channel to the head, or to and from the extremities of the body.
5. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM ITSELF, here we find the effects of conditions rather than causes; yet with such pressures, such conditions existent in a blood supply, we will find centers or ganglia throughout the cerebrospinal system - and especially from the 5th dorsal upward - showing the
209-1 Page 2
repressions, or the attempt of the body to create an equilibrium in the nervous system, a tendency for the lower limbs and the locomotaries to become heavy and to throb through the lower limbs to the feet at times. This is a nerve reaction.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, with the pressures, naturally there becomes an accentuation in the sensory organism, so that the body becomes susceptible to those activities through the sensory forces - as of eyes, ears, speech, feeling, and the effects of vibratory forces as may be set up - as is seen at times noises would QUIET the body, at others it becomes nerve racking. Voices or activities of people act in the same manner. These are merely as indications, not causes but effects as produced - the same as is seen in the digestive system, and the manner as these have created for the attempt of the body to build that as necessary to meet the needs - an abnormal appetite at times, with the inability to digest that as may be taken, properly. This is the attempt of the system to adjust itself, yet meets with those INABILITIES to produce an equilibrium.
7. In meeting the needs of the conditions of the body in the present, to prevent these from becoming such a nature as to become destructive forces, we must first set up a GENERAL elimination through the drainages - especially of the lymph and capillary circulation, so that the internal or the hepatic circulation - or the central nerve and circulatory system - is not overheated, or calls for more of the elimination through such channels. These we may create by those eliminations by the fume baths - as would be had from the use of the witchhazel one to twenty. This, as we find, will set up a GLOW over the system. These should be taken about twice each week. There should be the following of same with a salt glow, as to produce a full capillary circulation; following same immediately with those of the osteopathic manipulation and adjustments that would make for the proper drainages being set up by this resistance as would be created in system through stimulation to the capillary circulation; taking internally those properties as would be combined in this:
8. To 2 ounces of lactated pepsin, or the pepsin as a carrier, add: Oil of Juniper......................20 minims, Sweet Spirits of Nitre...............5 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp................2 minims.
9. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken,
209-1 Page 3
which would be half a teaspoonful, or 20 drops, twice each day - until there is the reactory force through the kidneys and the bladder. We would then add those carried in the clary water, relieving from this counter-irritation through these properties taken, and make these active through a DIGESTIVE system.
10. We would also stimulate with the ultra-violet across the abdomen and the small of the back, at least twice each week. This should be very slight in the beginning, that there is not too GREAT an irritation with the capillary stimulation. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Has the body any tuberculosis? (A) Not tuberculosis as of ANY of the system. Rather the improper metabolism, with the tendency of plethora in portions of the body.
12. (Q) Is there anything like an abscess in the back? (A) There is that soreness and tenderness in the lower portion to the left side, as cause an irritation. This is pressure from plethora in the abdominal region, or in the false pelvis region. Hence the drainages. Hence the stimulation of the capillary circulation. See?
13. (Q) What condition is the liver in? (A) Naturally, the torpidity as is seen by the attempt of the system to create an equilibrium in the blood supply. Not hardened; not spotted - but as of a granular HARDENING, see? that is, a closeness [cirrhosis?] of the granular or lobular portion itself; not hardening, but a TENDENCY towards that of a closeness [cirrhosis?].
14. (Q) Is it possible for the body to be cured? (A) Do this as we have given, and we will start it on the proper road! because, unless there are changes brought, conditions later on will be very much worse. We can relieve these conditions in the present, and with the proper drainages set up, with eliminations and stimulation to the blood supply, we will build that which will eliminate these from the body. Do that.
15. (Q) What diet? (A) Keep in an alkalin reactory, but blood and nerve building.
16. (Q) How often and in what quantities should the clary water be given? (A) That had best be given after there is a change, and be stipulated through these sources - as to when and how given.
17. (Q) Is it detrimental for the body to engage in any work? (A) It would be better were the body to FIT itself, and THEN engage more in work - but until these conditions or drainages are set up, we would REST from mental OR physical

worries.
