Time of Reading 7:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. El Paso, Tex. (Ck. Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before.
2. Now in many ways conditions may be considered improved; in others not so good. The change in climatic, atmospheric, conditions - it is true - has tended to bring changes for the body, and improvement is felt; yet the general condition is at a very high pitch, and little has been done to prevent the body from being still as much under the influence of the bacilli, as causes destructive forces in the body, as has been before. Merely been put in abeyance.
3. Those suggestions as were given [in 230-1] for the body to use were as properties that were not so much of curative power as to prevent the spread of conditions in the system, see? adding to the vitality of the tissue that is attacked by such conditions, so that the resistance is increased.
4. WE would prepare, then, as this for the inhalant that will effectually block and cleanse the throat, bronchial and lungs in such a way as to prevent the tubercle from spreading. Not sufficient care has been taken here as respecting the kidneys and the action as is being brought about by the diet as is being given. The rest, the climatic conditions are right - very good, but the others - not so well! For the inhalant, use as this proportion: To four (4) ounces of pure grain alcohol, add: Eucalyptol..........................20 minims, Benzosol............................10 minims, Benzoin............................ 5 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp...............15 minims, Canadian Balsam......................5 minims, Tolu in solution....................40 minims.
5. Keep solution in glass corked container at least twice the size of the quantity. Only shake solution together when to be used. Inhale into nostril and throat at least four to five times each day - deep inhalations into the lungs, see? Do that. Ready for questions.
230-2 Page 2
6. (Q) To what extent are my lungs involved with Tuberculosis? (A) Considerable area, and this has not been checked in a substantial manner as it should, under the conditions in which it has existed, either!
7. (Q) How much exercise (walking) can I stand without harm at the present time? (A) The least exercise taken at the present time, until there is more blocking, or more change in the system, the BETTER it will be.
8. (Q) Will my symptoms eventually disappear and I be able to lead a normal life and work 6 or 8 hours per day? (A) That depends upon the conditions and how the developments go on. Were the proper administrations for the body - - This isn't a good place for this body! This isn't a good surroundings!
9. (Q) What surroundings would be better? (A) Any place away from such action and such attention as given here. This is bad! Better be out in the open. The diet must be looked after, of course, as has been given, and - as is seen - necessary that a change of the climatic conditions, as given, from that under which we find the body, before it's better. Those SURROUNDING conditions are NOT GOOD!
10. (Q) What should the diet be for the body at the present time? (A) This has been outlined for the body - and you wouldn't get it changed, if you would change it!
11. (Q) Is my condition such that when cured will not return under a normal life? (A) That cannot be given.
12. (Q) What is the difference in effect of the climates of Kentucky and El Paso, Texas, on my condition? (A) Too numerous to be mentioned, as to what's the difference in this. Common judgement in these should tell anyone what's the difference in these. One's a dry, arid; the other wet and cold. Climate is bad in the one; very good in the other for such conditions. Yet were the condition entirely sealed and cleansed, or blocked in such a way and manner as to prevent any tubercle from breaking, no reason why the body should not return to the normal life. But changing is always very doubtful. Rest and rough diet, with that that will prevent re-infection in the system, will come nearer blocking the conditions, like as has been given, see?
13. We are through for the present.
