Time of Reading 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [231]. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions for this body. These are of rather the specific nature, and have to do with the respiratory system and the effect as is created in the rest of the system by this disturbance.

2. In times back, we see there has existed a tendency or a weakness from conditions received in the upper cervicals of the body. Then, with the congestion as has come to the body, it (the congestion), taking on specific conditions, produced in the tissue of the lung proper that of the gathering together of dead tissue, and the system attempting to alleviate same, throwing about it those of that portion in the blood stream as wards it off, forms the form of cyst, or of an eruptive nature.

3. The weakness, then, is in the blood stream proper, for inflammation is created. This causes a depletion of the vitality in the organs, especially liver and spleen, as well as the distress in the lungs proper, and bronchia, the throat.

4. In the variations as come, under certain conditions of this nature, as is evidenced here, these are NOT of the character that build in themselves at present - but, with the continuation of the body being in a position where these may take hold, there may occur - or may be - that infection set up as WOULD become destructive in its nature. That, then, is the condition to be warned against.

5. While those applications as are being given are well in many directions, these are not taking the full precaution of rebuilding and replenishing in the system, as might be taken.

6. As WE would give, WE would change to such as this: This, however, must necessarily be determined in the mind of the INDIVIDUAL ITSELF - but WE would change to these:

7. For the medicinal properties, we would use rather those

of that as is known as Calcidin. This not only clarifies the respiratory system, acting directly with same, as the effect in the system toward the respiratory organs, but especially to the bronchia. We would take about a three grain tablet every five to six hours.

8. We would also use an inhalant that would CLARIFY the conditions in the throat, bronchia and lungs, as a form of antiseptic that is destructive to bacilli, or bacteria or a nature that is destructive to soft tissue. Such as is found in this, for this body:

9. To 6 ounces of grain alcohol, in a 10 ounce glass corked container, put: Eucalyptol....................20 minims, Creosote, Rectified (and put them in the order as these are given)........11 minims, or drops, Rectified Oil of Turp.........10 minims, Benzoin........................5 minims, Canadian Balsam, or Balsam of Fir.................10 minims, Tolu in solution - not Balsam, but Tincture or Tolu in solution.....................1/4 ounce. Shake solution together before it is inhaled into the lungs, as one would inhale a smoke or a cigarette, drawing deep into the lungs. This will tend to CLARIFY the conditions.

10. We would also, every other day, use those of the ultra violet ray, and we would use it especially OVER the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsals.

11. For the diet, we would give principally those of the resistive BUILDING forces, or as in tripe, or liver - calves' liver preferable, but not fried - codliver oil. Stimuli would be of spirits frumenti and egg and milk. Small quantities of this.

12. The body should rest. To reduce temperature and to make the body rest, rub the spine with rub alcohol. This will reduce.

13. We would do that. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) Is this condition the effect of the operation a month ago, for removing tonsils? (A) Has its part. That condition as has been given is the cause.

15. (Q) What caused this condition in the neck sometime ago? (A) That as has been given, as an INJURY in the cervical. This has been given.

16. (Q) Has his work in the shipyard anything to do with

231-1 Page 3

his condition? (A) No. Really would be beneficial. But it has accentuated many of the conditions. The breads, or the food values in that nature for the body - should NEVER be any white, or very little of potatoes - that is, white potatoes - but the whole wheat or Graham, or corn bread, and fat meats - if the body ASSIMILATES same. Do as we have given, and we will bring the normal forces for this body, [231]. We are through for the present. Two copies to his brother Copy to Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital
