1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are conditions abnormal in this body that have to do with the elemental forces, also some organic conditions, and the effect upon the functioning of the organs. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body:
2. First, THE BLOOD in its circulation, we find, is being loaded, as it were, with those elemental forces in the building cellular force for the body that should be eliminated. Or, as we find, the emunctories in both organs of the hepatic circulation [liver and kidneys?] do not carry with the circulation the conditions as they should with the eliminating from the system. Hence this weakness, this rise of temperature for the blood at times. It is the condition that exists in the blood and produces very bad coagulation, and its effect on the system is that of a continual strain on the body, until the body has such as to show we are treating the conditions [symptoms?] rather than the seat of the troubles. For this effect does not mean that this is a contamination from hereditary forces. For we carry elemental conditions rather than hereditary forces in the blood supply in the system.
3. The liver and kidneys and their functioning as organs, with the circulation, show the condition in which each organ is acting. For the actions of these organs are the reflex from the condition in the lower end of the stomach that gives the expression to the brain, in its action through the pneumogastric nerve course. So there is the tired feeling of the brain in its action at times, producing a condition in the system where the brain forces - with the other conditions of the system - refuse to give off at times sufficient incentives to carry out the functionings of the other organs. So, through these expressions themselves in the body, we find there is carried to the lymphatic circulation that which gives the rise to the conditions in the locomotories. Hence the inability at times for this body to give expression even of its individual self.

4. Now, this body may be brought to its normal forces and through physical means be made whole or normal again, but it must be through a long series of treatments to be followed for the various conditions that arise, with this body in its weakened condition and with so little resistive forces, though it has been in a lower state of resistive force than at present. We must give to this body that which would give sufficient incentive force for the body to meet the resistive force that must be met in order to gain its equilibrium.
5. First, we would give to this body along the whole length of the spinal column that strength to renew its resistive forces from the first cervical to the coccyx - by kneading or rubbing into the body equal parts of sulphur and hog fat with oil. This would be kept up for two weeks, you see, so as to give strength to this portion of the body.
6. We would then give into the system these medicinal properties:
7. To six ounces of Wild Cherry Bark, put one-half gallon of rain or distilled water; reduce by simmering to one quart. While warm, add: Oil of Eucalyptus.............30 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.........10 minims, Grain Alcohol..................4 ounces. The dose would be a tablespoonful four times each day.
8. The diet shall be those foods only that carry much carbon for the system.
9. Do this and we will have prepared the body to help itself to remeet the resistance it must, in order to gain its equilibrium.
10. Do that.
11. (Q) Mr. Cayce, give the medicine before meals or after? (A) After.
12. (Q) And in the evening before bedtime? (A) And in the evening before bedtime.
13. (Q) What should she do for constipation, Mr. Cayce? (A) These medicinal properties that we have given, and the oils we have given to rub, are to meet these forces in the system that will produce the condition to make the bowels, the liver, the hepatic circulation function in the normal manner, you see.
14. (Q) Will these spells gradually leave the body, or will they leave at once? (A) Gradually, as we have given. This is only to get this condition to restore the resistiveness for this body.

15. (Q) Can this body go out in the open air? (A) It is best for the body to be in the air as much as possible, for, as we have given, we will use common sense in doing as we have given. We do not get enough carbon in the house, you see.
