Time of Reading Unknown.

1. FEM: Now Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have tonight before you the body of [248], and the body is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body that you have before you from head to foot and examine the body carefully and tell me of any ailments or disorders that you may find within the body, and then tell me what will cure or relieve the body from the conditions that you find. [248], present in this room.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, this body is very good throughout, save some deflective forces that we find making a specific condition exist at times within the body that has to do with the physical, also the effect as is produced over the system that has to deal with the mental and spiritual forces or the soul and spiritual forces of this body. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body here, [248] we are speaking of: The blood in its course and system is very good, being normal in the number of red blood corpuscles carrying sufficient of the rebuilding and replenishing forces to carry out the action of the system, both in its growth and in its development; also those of the white. In the nerve force we find the action of the cerebrospinal nerve centers themselves carried out in their action in an order that gives in normal force the correct co-ordination to the functioning of the organs of the body. Through the action of the pneumogastric we find there has been produced from malnutrition in inception that has produced a hardened condition in the lower orifice of the stomach itself, so that with reaction of the refractory nerves of the diaphragm or of the acting of the solar plexus centers, that it gives to the system or to the brain force at the base of the brain the reaction that causes the congestion at the time to the body, or that produces these conditions or spells that come to this body at times, you see.

FEM: Yes, sir.

3. This, we find, is produced in this body by this condition that exists in the stomach itself. So to reach this that produces this we must correct this condition. We would give this, then, into the system, so that it will act direct to these conditions: Each evening at seven o'clock give this body ten grains dry of common table salt. See? FEM: Yes.

4. Each fifth day, for a period of nine weeks, give two grains of Ambrosia or Sole [Solanum?] or Ragweed - as the common name is - to this body. See? FEM: I see.

5. This will give the revibration to this system and assist the developing forces to overcome these conditions in this body; [248], here present in this room.

6. FEM: Mr. Cayce, -

7. EC: Mr. Cayce, -

8. (Q) How often do these spells that you speak of attack this body? (A) (How often do these spells that you speak of attack this body.) Whenever the condition produced, and the over-balance of the condition that exists here in the lower ravine of the stomach, you see. FEM: Yes, sir. When this is the cycle, to bring this about, or this condition arises in the stomach, then the condition is produced to the action of the nerve forces. If we will do this as we have given here, we will remove the cause and the trouble will be removed from the system.

9. (Q) What would you suggest for his diet, Mr. Cayce? (A) (What would you suggest for his diet, Mr. Cayce?) Anything that the body calls for, save those of a great quantity of sweet or nut fats. Do not eat either of those.

10. (Q) The body wants to know if they can have all the Irish potatoes they want. (A) (The body wants to know if they can have all the Irish potatoes they want.) Prepared in certain ways, yes, not too much grease with them.

11. FEM: Mr. Cayce, -

12. EC: Mr. Cayce -

13. (Q) The body wants to know what to do to relieve the body of these spells when it has those spells. (A) (The body wants to know what to do to relieve the body

of these spells when it has those spells.) When the condition is apparent in the body itself, you see - FEM: Yes, sir. A shock to the first vertebra, such as that of applying ice. That will revive the body, you see. FEM: Yes, sir. The immediate conditions; for the conditions to be removed, correct the cause, not the effects. We are only applying to the effects when we do this. Do as we have given. We are through.

14. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have given. You are feeling all right, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in two minutes feeling fine and all right, and absolutely free from headache.
