1. EC: Now, we find there are abnormal conditions, and these may be corrected. Many of these conditions are of long standing - that is, their source, and the condition has to do with the functioning of organs, and especially of the eliminations.
2. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, Mrs. [250], we are speaking of. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find shows how the eliminations are so disarranged as to cause distresses through the system by the intoxications that is produced. Now, the cause of beginning of this goes back to where too much sedatives were used in the system for nervousness, the nervousness produced by a condition dating back farther, which we shall see in the nerve system, in special centers. This is how the condition began. The liver then became involved in bringing into the blood, then, those conditions which show that the torpidity of the liver - the condition PRODUCED by same in the intestinal system - brings then distresses to the mesenteric system, to the kidneys, to the extremities, especially in the lower portions of the system, and general distress throughout the system.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find very much disturbed, both in the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic system. In the cerebrospinal there are those specific plexuses and centers that show the distresses that first produced headaches and indigestion (this in times back). This condition as brought on these, as we see, was in the 4th, 1st and 2nd lumbar, 12th, 9th and 10th dorsal. This condition still shows there are some lesions there. These all need correcting. The sympathetic system becomes involved through the cardiac and the hypogastric plexus. This, as we see, produces the strain, or that trouble which has been experienced with the heart's action, and the pressure in the blood supply. This is below normal at the present time. This again, as we see, is brought about by distresses in the body.

5. THROUGHOUT THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS - Brain forces are very good.
6. All of the organs of the sensory system show the effect of strain in blood supply, and the over strained nerve system.
7. Throat, bronchials, lungs, larynx are very good. The lungs show the effect of the condition in elimination; for the system, in attempting to eliminate poisons from the system, surcharges all the organs of eliminations.
8. The digestive system is very much overtaxed, not only by the nerve system but by the organ itself in its functioning, and from the nerve condition and the effect that is produced on the cardiac and hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus. In the hypogastric plexus, this is affected especially in the liver and the mesenteric system. In the heart's action, this at the present time is affected by the corrections which have been attempted in the system, and is much improved from that in times back. The liver still needs its attention, especially in the correcting of the incentive from the nerve plexus that govern the incentives for functioning of the organ.
9. The kidneys are overtaxed, and much strain is brought to the locomotaries in lower portion of body by these being so overcharged by attempting to eliminate poisons from the system.
10. THEN, TO BRING ABOUT THE BETTERED CONDITIONS for this body, and to correct these, we would give in this way and manner:
11. First, the corrections should be made along the cerebrospinal system. These may be done osteopathically or chiropractically, or neuropathically, provided sufficient ADJUSTMENTS are made, with the muscular relaxing of the centers, to correct the incentive of each plexus nerve's supply, as is seen in the lumbar and dorsal region. This should be done first. To be able to bring these in their proper relations more effectually, and in a more normal manner, first apply heat in wet packs to the spine, for at least twenty to thirty to forty minutes before such adjustments or treatments are given. At least thirty-six to forty-six such treatments should be given, to bring the normal forces for the body.
12. After at least thirteen treatments have been taken (these should be given every other day), then take into the system medicinal properties to give that to the system that is necessary for an equilibrium in the eliminations, as will be found in this:
13. To 1 gallon of rain water, we would add:
250-1 Page 3
Sarsaparilla Bark......4 ounces, Wild Cherry Bark.......2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root.......2 ounces, Burdock Root...........2 ounces, Black Root.............2 ounces, Mandrake Root.........20 grains, Buchu Leaves..........30 grains, Elder Flower...........2 ounces.
14. Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to 1 quart. Strain, and while warm add 4 ounces grain alcohol, with 3 drams of Balsam of Tolu cut in it. Then add 4 minims Oil of Sassafras.
15. The dose would be a teaspoonful 4 times each day.
16. During the whole time, see (until the full correction is made), use high enemas, such as with the Cascade, to relieve the lower portion of the intestinal system of the drosses left in the colon by poor elimination. [Tyrrell's Cascade?] This with as hot water as can be well taken. This will be found to flush not only the intestinal system but the kidneys, and relieve drosses.
17. This may produce some irritation through the pelvic organs. This will be met as is necessary by douches in and through this portion of the system.
18. The condition then will be found, when these have been carried out, to be near to normal. Mrs. [250].
19. We are through for the present.
