Time of Reading 2:30 to 3:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [253]; this in part we have had before.

2. As we find, there are some changes in the general physical condition from that experienced before.

3. There are, as we find, some specific conditions that may be altered in such a manner as to bring better physical conditions for the body; these specifically having to do with that which produces in the system a tendency for the poisons to be checked in system, rather than being eliminated through their proper channels.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them in the present in this body, [253] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. In giving the conditions, as we find, there are those that to the body may be normal that to other bodies would be abnormal, yet the differentiation in these may be seen by that which may be helpful to the existent condition.

6. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find in itself shows disturbances in the metabolism of the system, as well as in the organs and in the system and systems as related to eliminations from the system. For, if there were the proper coordination in the organs as related to eliminations, there would be a better balancing in the distribution not only of used tissue in the body but of the drosses that are not always eliminated in or through their proper channel.

7. In the NERVE FORCES of the body, here we find that which to the system may be said to be somewhat normal, though to other bodies there would be some alteration or some change; yet the general conditions as related to the nerves or nerve systems, as related to the body itself, which produce the impulses for activities, are balanced in the system normally. Yet disturbances are produced by conditions that exist in ganglia in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic

253-2 Page 2

system.

8. As to the physical forces or ORGANS, as related to disturbances in the body:

9. The activities of the mental forces are good.

10. Throat, bronchi, lungs in their activity show the effects caused by the attempts of the system to eliminate properly when disturbances occur in portions of the plasm and the lymph circulation as to cause segregations of portions in the body that produce a disturbing force to the capillary or to the superficial circulation.

11. Hence, there is a breaking up of the forces or those conditions that separate themselves, causing disturbances in the outer portion or cuticle of the body.

12. These occur in those activities as related to pulmonary INFLUENCE, though the lungs themselves and the throat are not other than irritated at times of congestion or colds, either in the plasm of throat, the head, the nasal cavities, or the soft tissue.

13. Yet, the CONDITIONS in the interim are such that there arises disorders when there are congestions that are affecting that portion. For the eliminations being disturbed allow the congestion to produce disorders there.

14. Hence these conditions would need to be considered when corrections are made in the impinged forces in the upper cervical and the lower dorsal areas, for the activities to be better in the impulse from the system to the activity of the blood supply, and also in bringing a better coordination between the eliminating systems of the body.

15. In the heart's action, as indicated, the metabolism or the pulsation, the pressure, is disturbed at times. This may be found by tests that may be made respecting same.

16. As to conditions in the liver, the stomach, the spleen, the pancreas, the activities toward digestion, these are very good considering the disturbances in the blood stream from disorders or poisons in the body. Not that disturbances do not arise at times, but these are rather the effects and not causes of the disorders. In the eliminations, the liver, the pancreas, the spleen or the kidneys are not the source of the disturbances - and yet they are the organs that GOVERN the eliminations. Then, this may make questions as to just what does produce the disturbances. As given, the causes of the greater forces may be corrected to make a better physical condition; that is, the toxic forces that arise in the eliminations through the alimentary canal or, specifically, through those portions of the system as of the colon itself, in conjunction with disturbances in the kidney area from

253-2 Page 3

backing in the system that produce the toxic forces. And a subluxation in the 4th lumbar center is an area in which the disturbance may be aided in assisting the general system, from the disorders that disturb the greater portion as we find in the present.

17. Then, in meeting the conditions as we would find for this body, [253] we are speaking of, present in this room:

18. We would first take into the system very small quantities of the Ash, which will release carbon in the system such as to purify the blood supply and to lend to the activities of the plasm, the lymph, the urea, the hormones of the blood supply, those necessary divisions that prevent the breaking up of cellular forces that produce the separations in the system in soft tissue, and that will make the ability of the blood plasm with the assistance given to the activities of the nerve plexus that supplies impulses to create impulses that will better the condition. One-eighth grain we would take once or twice a week; twice a week in the beginning. After the second or third week, as we would find, this may be reduced to one dose each week.

19. Thirty minutes after taking the dose of Ash, we would apply the ultra-violet ray to those portions of the body from the 4th dorsal to the 9th or 10th dorsal area. This will make for a stimulation such as to eliminate or to allow the distribution of the forces from the carbon in the body by the natural attraction produced by the heat and the electrical forces as created in the whole of the organism itself, attracting those properties that would aid in creating bettered conditions.

20. We would also once to twice a week RELIEVE those pressures in the lumbar area where subluxations exist. This will aid also in stimulating the whole system for better coordination of that created by the activity of both the light and the Ash taken.

21. This we would do, for the better conditions of the body in the present.

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) Should the ultra-violet ray be applied in the back or in the front? (A) In the back.

24. (Q) Just what is meant by relieving the pressure in the spinal area? (A) In the spinal area in the 4th LUMBAR center; not in the upper portions where the structural portions make for disorders or conditions as peculiar to themselves, but in the 4th LUMBAR area we find a subluxation that makes for the impulses to be active with the glands in the kidney area of

253-2 Page 4

the adrenal glands that produce the impulse to make this dissemination or division in the blood supply that causes the greater disorders or disturbances. These, to be sure, should be corrected osteopathically; with adjustments or manipulative forces that make the proper alignment in THIS particular area. To be sure, do not disturb the upper portions; save in the cervical, as for the activities with the hypogastric and pneumogastrics that aid in assimilations and distribution which is more needed in the glands of the lower portion, in this particular body. Hence those activities that would release the pressure in the lumbar area, which - as given - would be given or added once or twice a week, FOLLOWING the application of the lights that follows the Ash which allows the releasing of oxygen that is so necessary for the cleansing and purifying of blood stream.

25. (Q) Please explain why this body's reading of Jan. 30, 1933, given through this channel, was so short and hard to understand. (A) This was because of the forces and influences that existed in the body-mind of the individual, and those that influenced the environment about the body through which information came.

26. (Q) Is the condition as outlined causing the breaking out on the face? (A) Causing the breaking out on the face. As indicated, the plasm of the blood supply is influenced by conditions that have disturbed and do disturb the eliminating areas, as to cause improper distribution; that is, the drosses are not being eliminated through their proper channels. As we have indicated from the area affected, and the activity of the organs in reference to same, the greater elimination of poisons is attempting to be carried through the RESPIRATORY system or the GLANDS in the exterior or epidermis portion of the system; hence there is the separation such as to cause the creating of globules of such nature as to carry poisons, or pus at times, in themselves. These treatments if followed in the line as we have given, as WE find, will remove these disorders.

27. (Q) What is the present condition of the spinal area, and what can be done to correct it other than that suggested in the spine itself? (A) As indicated, certain portions of the spine as may be seen, from the 4th dorsal area to the 5th and 6th cervical

253-2 Page 5

area, in the STRUCTURAL forces themselves are such that they may not be disturbed; for the attempt to correct or to straighten would be a greater detriment to the body than an aid. But corrections in the LUMBAR area (which certainly would have to be done PROPERLY) will aid in correcting the condition. We would not disturb, or attempt to correct, those in the structural forces, such as exist.

28. (Q) Is there any suggestion regarding the condition of the ribs and their improvement? (A) The correction of those in the lumbar (which, to be sure, is BELOW the rib area, but the massage of a gentle nature in the sternum area or in front, in the connecting to the ribs above the diaphragm and in the lung area; OUTSIDE, not deep - but outside) will alleviate distresses; the main correction SHOULD be a matter of the proper application for the correction of the subluxation in the 4th LUMBAR area.

29. (Q) Do the conditions as outlined cause the frequent lack of energy, and will the treatment suggested remedy the condition? (A) A cause of the lack of energy; for, when vitality is used in the attempts of the system itself to adjust itself to poisons, the energy necessary for carrying on is certainly used up. In bringing about normal eliminations for the body through their proper channels, alleviating pressures that influence the activities of glands to secrete improper distributions, would relieve and correct the condition. Do that.

30. (Q) Should he stop smoking? (A) In moderation, not harmful. Excess, harmful; for it irritates the muco-membranes that also would come under distress when poisons are not carried properly in the system.

31. (Q) What doctor should be approached to carry out the treatment outlined? (A) One that may make the proper adjustments in the lumbar area, and that may apply the character of light necessary for stimulating the activity of the properties given.

32. (Q) How can this correction be made while wearing a plaster cast? (A) May not be made until this is relieved!

33. (Q) He should wait until after removing the cast? (A) Until after removing the cast.

34. (Q) Should he continue with the present spinal treatments he is getting? (A) These, as we find, are NOT CORRECTING the condition,

253-2 Page 6

but are not particularly harmful save causing distributions improperly in the system.

35. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) As we would find, these as outlined would be the better conditions for the body. These we would do.

36. We are through with this reading.
