1. MHB: Now you will have before you the Association of National Investigators, Inc., and the hospital that is being planned at Virginia Beach. Is the contract as drawn up with the contractors at the present time sufficient, all inclusive, and proper? [Lee & Hunt, Contractors]
2. EC: Good! The operation of those with whom the contemplated contract is to be drawn will prove most satisfactory left under the control of those directing same, provided there is sufficient interest manifested in the building proper by those that are having and are interested in the erection of same.
3. (Q) That is - (A) (Interrupting) The individuals that are considered as builders are proper ones to build, provided those interested show the proper interest in that being done, see?
4. (Q) Those on the grounds here in Virginia, then, should be in constant touch with that being builded - then no architect is necessary to oversee the work. (A) Those that are to occupy, those that are the most interested from EVERY source, should occasionally look in, consider as questions, see things are carried on properly. No architect necessary - for you have one of the best!
5. (Q) Now, regarding the facing - would it be best, everything considered, that the building face the ocean; that is, the East, or that it face the South, as has been originally planned? (A) Considering all conditions, facing the East will make a much more satisfactory, much more acceptable proposition - considering all things.
6. (Q) It is well then that Brown, Kahn and Blumenthal sign the contract as drawn up and permit the builders to be their own overseers, and that we give as much attention to it as is possible? (A) Correct.
7. (Q) Any further advice in the building of this

institution, or improvement that may be made? (A) Much may be said concerning conditions as surround this. The better plan, BEGIN - and build with that in hand, for through the use of that had, others and better may be added - only. We are through.
